BIG HUGE Thank you to Jade and Dustie for Byakko - Dust for helping me pay for him ( more than half eek ) and Jade for doing such an awesome job with the little guy. I would have had this up sooner but what took me longer than thinking up a theme is throwing it all together into an attractive layout for his journal. x_x Now to get everything all pretty like ol' Fea's is xd

Relations:

What you need and everything you'll feel
Is just a question of the deal
In the eye of storm you'll see a lonely dove
The experience of survival is the key
To the gravity of love

Genbu is one of Byakko's three siblings. Of them all he probibly looks up to Genbu the most. He seems to have an answer to everything and Byakko has no reason not to believe every word he says - even if it was meant to be sarcastic. Genbu seems to already have the ambition to become alpha, Byakko just wants to stay out of it. He's perfectally content being what he is.

Seiryuu is the second of Byakko's brothers. He's a proud pup that believes that the four of the elemental wolves are meant to accomplish great things beyond the feats of any "other" wolf. He's defensive of his family and his thoughts, definately not one to mess with but he's always there to turn to in a fix.

Suzaku is Byakko's one and only sister. (Not played with her yet, not much info to be gathered)

Byakko starred hard into the hole, his ears perked forward and his body slightly tense. Bright blue eyes waited for the thing to poke out again, the little furry had scampered back down into the hole- all he wanted was to play with it. What it was he had no idea- all he could think to call it in his own mind was "hole rat".

Seiryu was furious with his sister. He ended up not returning to her and her newfound friend the next evening...in fact, he's not set on ever finding her again. She's safe, and that's all he really cares about at this point. He's too frustrated with her to want to return; he feels betrayed and at a loss. Weak sibling. She didn't have the strength that he had. A stranger, a rogue? She should not have been with a rogue. Their blood was too important...too unique. They were important. Not a rogue.

The sky-colored male is loping quietly along, ears pricked carefully for any sign of anyone else nearby. He's been going west again, always west...it never seems to end. He cannot seem to go north nor south - just west, as if something were pulling him as far away from home as he could be.

Byakko whimpered, pawing at the hole and barking in his shrill, very high-pitched voice. He wanted to play and the thing was taking too long. Of course, though he had no clue of this, he was only accompishing keeping the frightened creature in the safety of its hole. Byakko was the most light-hearted of the group, about as sharp as a log. He didn't like to eat anything but fish- and only because a fish had killed a "flutterby" when he was playing with it in the river. His poor diet also made him small and lean. It was apparent he'd probibly never be a fighter.

Ears suddenly perk. He knows that bark. Immediately, his moody expression lifts for one sudden, excited moment - but the memory of his sister comes flooding back, and he almost instantly frowns once more. But he shakes it off. Perhaps this is different...perhaps Byakko has not forsaken his siblings and his kind. For some reason, this is most important to the Dragon.

Running as fast as his little limbs can carry him, Seiryu bursts out of the bushes, tail wagging furiously, muzzle agape into a delighted wolf's grin.

Byakko stepped back with a huff, his ears perking at the sound of paws moving through the grass. Genbu must be trying to sneak up on him again. Oooh no, he'd get him this time. With a smirk the pup got low to the ground and watched in the direction of the sound. He wasn't exactally the master of stealth with his white pelt and very slim knowlage of hunting so it was apparent where he was but perhaps he planned on making a straight- on charge to the approaching pup.

It's probably Seiryu's own light pelt that makes him quickly able to pick out Byakko - in any case, he slows slightly when he realizes his brother isn't rushing out to meet him, and his expression grows suddenly dark with dread and barely-contained fears. Something's wrong here.

A slight, quiet growl rumbles through his throat, and his ears flatten back immediately. He comes to a halt, staring at the light-colored pelt in the grass, his hackles raised.

Byakko laughed, clumsily moving forward to try a pounce at his older brother. It was obvious he was non-aggressive, his tail up high and his mouth parted in a wolfish grin, the long tounge rolling from the side of his mouth. "I'm gonna win this time!" He jumped at his brother- it wasn't Genbu but it was still something to play with.

The snarl growls more menacing, rising in volume and tone. The odd circumstances of his life have made Seiryu edgy and jumpy - and it isn't wise to test the Dragon's temper. He snaps, instead, at Byakko, a movement designed clearly not for play, but for fight, his ears flat against his skull to avoid injury, his belly trailing slightly along the ground, tail raised aggressively....

Byakko yelped as his brother snapped at him, his ears lowering and his eyes widening in shock. His tail tucked between his hind legs as he backed up, whimpering quietly. Had he done something wrong? He didn't mean to scare him like that.. "Seiryu... I'm sorry don't be mad, I won't scare you again, promise..." He was whimpering, lowering himself to the ground and taking up a pose that made one think he was expecting to be struck.

Seiryu's eyes suddenly seem to clear, and instead of an enemy at his feet, all he sees is his brother, wondering what in the world he was doing. Dazed, feeling as if he's come a thousand miles, he shakes his head - once, twice, thrice. Sense comes slowly to him, as if he were swimming in mud and flailing uselessly with his legs.

The terseness in his gaze leaves him some, and he relaxes slightly. But there is no remorse or apology in his eyes. Something snapped in him the day that their parents died. This is a different Seiryu than the one Byakko had known.

"You startled me, that's all," he says, shortly. "I was looking for you...are you alright?"
He was still whimpering pathetically, watching Seiryu from the grass. Byakko was perhaps the innocent of the group, he believed that no matter how horrible things were they could always get better, that everyone had a good side no matter how vile- things like that. But when attacked he became worse than a newborn, "...I'm okay, Seiryu... I'm sorry, I won't do it again, I promise."
Tigryph: "I thought you were going to be Genbu. He always gets me pounced and I wanted to win today."

Sudden interest lights the male's face. "Genbu? You're with Genbu? I saw our sister..." he breaks off there, then just shakes his head, and cautiously intones: "Are you...are you two with...anyone else?" He settles back onto his haunches, hunched down slightly, looking more like a bird - or dragon - of prey than a wolf puppy.

"Nope. Just me and Genbu. He's teaching me stuff." He sat up with a smile, it seemed he'd already forgotten being snapped at. "Like I can't fly..." He shook his head with a bit of a wrinkle to his nose, "Or I'll run my feet off like the snake on his fur. And my clouds are stuck on the ground 'cause I'm 'steppin' on them." He shook his paws a bit, trying to help the clouds get free again, "And and that the water wants you to see what you look like!"

His expression smooths over slightly, as if that was the correct response. Relieved of that little detail, Seiryu studies his brother - perhaps his oddest sibling, to be sure - for a moment, trying to repress a sense of merriment that Byakko always seems to bring to him. They've been apart for what - a few moons now? - and Byakko is chatting to him as if he'd seen hiim only yesterday. It's one of the qualities Seiryu has always found endearing about him.

"Well, not with wings, anyways," He chortles, amused, one ear twitching. "Tiger, you're going to be special when you grow up, trapped clouds or no." He had honestly never looked at water that way before, and it rather makes him proud. "The water likes us to look at ourselves so we remember to be ourselves."

He smiled, nodding his head, "Genbu said we're going to be the best pack in the world! The strongest and best." He puffed out his chest, trying to make himself look bigger, "I'm going to make sure we stay together this time. Papa would be happy." He nodded, getting to his paws and moving towards his brother, hardly remembering the little incident prior to the conversation, "You won't go again, will you? The mean snows made me lost, I didn't mean to run off."

"It's not your fault," He reassures the puppy. "We all got a bit lost." Some of us more than others. Gods hope that Suzaku can find her way again. "And I'm going to stay with you and Genbu forever, now that I've found you." He offers a short, decisive wag of his tail. "I'm going to make certain nothing ever separates us again, ever."
Tigryph: He brightened up, moving over to nuzzle his brother with a playful whimper, "I'm glad. We need to stay together- we're family." He sighed happily, plopping himself down in the grass next to Seiryu, looking off towards the river, "Where's Suzu? Is she sleeping? She was always sleeping."
