 Home of the Mage's Guild, Spiral Tower stands in the very center of the city. It's spiral shape is explained as the spiraling force within every caster that they must learn to harness and control. At night, light from the tower can be seen flickering from people training inside. All caster skills get a -2 to training here as a guild member.

Light glistened off the mirror-like shine of the windows on Spiral tower, making it seem to glow with a power all its own. Liliana led Rikkaetheon inside, past the mages and aracnists who were practicing on the first floor. The next floor had soothsayers learning from priests about healing arts while they taught songs to the same priests. Elementalists were growing box gardens on the third floor as they continued their ascent to the final floor. It was a simple area but it was empty of people. "Welcome to my personal study and experiment room," Liliana said. Books lay everywhere, pulsing with the faint power of energy in them as tables strewn with seeds, plantlings, and water taps halfway covered scorch marks.

Rikkaetheon had put his headphones back on upon entering the tower. He liked the music. He was in his own little world while he was listening to music. He pulled his ear phones out as they entered the study, just in time to hear Liliana. "It's nice." He said as he looked around. "So, you said you had a book that could tell me what I am?" He asked, still curious about himself. The whole ordeal was still a little to fantastic for him. He was doing all he could to remain completely calm.

Liliana walked over to the only desk and opened a drawer. Pulling out a book, she motioned for him to come over. "Here. It's the only one I have and it was hard to obtain. Please take care of it while you use it."

Rikkaetheon nodded again. "Thank you, I'll only need a few minutes with it." He said as he took the book. Opening it he began to read about the bloodline known as the Highborn. Its uncertain exactly how the highborn came to be. Some say it was from angels mating with humans, others say they descend from angels who decided to leave the heavens to better protect those in need, and never returned, and yet others say that they where given a blessing by a deity to bring good back into the world, and fight off evil. They hail from a distant land known as Ar'Arkaedon. Their numbers few, they travel the lands helping those in need, eliminating evil, and punishing the wicked. Tales of the highborn have described them as being living myths, invincible, and full of righteous fury. These tales also have led to many highborn to attempt to keep their identity a secret. Doing their good deeds in secret, or wearing hoods and masks. Continuing on he discovered a list of skills, two of which he already had learned by his knowledge. He also found out that he was immortal. The last part shocked him. Age couldn't kill him it seemed. So he would have lifetimes upon lifetimes to help those in need. This was a great blessing indeed. "By the light..." He muttered as he closed the book. Standing back up he handed it back to Liliana. "So, I guess this means I have more to learn than priest and water skills from now on, huh?" He said laughing a little. Trying to lighten the mood on the serious situation. He still didn't know how to react to this, but he wouldn't let it bother him just yet.

Liliana smiled, taking the book. "It would seem so. Which leads me to a question. Would you be interested in joining our guild here? It will give you a couple perks to help you on your way down your path."

Rikkaetheon thought for a moment before answering her. "Liliana, I had pledged to follow you and the spire in the old world, what makes you think I wouldn't do it again in this one?" He smiled, it was by the light's will he made it here with her again. Who was he to fight it. He had found out he had become an immortal, met up with Liliana in a new world, and learned about himself today. This new world was beginning to become very interesting very fast.

Liliana clapped her hands. "Wonderful!" She handed him the Seal of the Magi. "We can use this area for your highborn practice and I will introduce you to the priest teachers when you're ready to meet them." She pushed her desk against a wall and Air moved books out of the way. "Would you like to continue your Highborn skills or would you like your assessment?"

Rikkaetheon thought for a moment and then replied. "I'll take my assessment now. I'm already more powerful than I thought I'd ever be at this point." He had become an ascended being, he had learned two additional abilities he had not previously had the ability to, and he had also met up with Liliana and joined up with her faction. Things were looking up for him.

"Head to Rivenwall. There, let the guards know you are there for the healing rounds for the prisoners. They will explain more." She walked over to the stairwell. "They will send word of your work to me and I will send back about your future." Leaving it at that, Liliana left.

Liliana hurried up to her floor, ignoring the looks the other guild members gave her. The crystal was all she could think of at this point. It was just too intriguing to ignore. / Setting it down on the desk, she stepped back from it. "Okay, you. Time to speak up," she commanded. The crystal pulsed, but it remained silent. / Walking over, Liliana thought to apply energy to the crystal. That's when everything happened a bit too fast for her. / Power exploded out from the crystal as a large energy dragon took shape in the room. "Li-Liliana?" came a deeply familiar voice. Liliana finally opened her eyes to see none other than Alewar standing in front of her. Crying in joy to see her old friend, Liliana jumped up to hug him but fell right through him. "I'm sorry but I'm not very physical right now," he said as she stood up inside the energy form of her old friend. She could feel him all around her in this spot. And it felt good to her. "What happened?" she finally asked. "It's quite a story..."

Stepping out of the tower, Liliana fingered her new necklace. It was a crystal encased in glass with a small but strong silver chain keeping it around her neck. A small wisp floated behind her. seeming to be shaped as Alewar's head but much smaller. Looking around, she didn't feel Vincent's presence nearby. Sighing, she headed for Balansas Palace to wait for him.

He sighed as he looked around for Liliana but couldn't see her. "Lady Liliana are you here? Lord Dante is Awake."
