Training sucked SO HARD. It was necessary, but the whole ordeal was starting to feel like a huge burden. Parthenope had been ruthless and every night they trained, always ending with her attempting to pull off her attack. She always felt completely drained before heading home. She'd get home and head to bed right away. It was getting tiresome to remember to set an alarm so she could wake up in the morning by a decent time so she could get ready for work. On a regular day, she'd be awake by 6 am easily without the prompting of an alarm. These days, she'd need an alarm and be awake by 7:30 am. It was also getting quite tiresome to be scolded in monotone by her boss about looking exhausted. Hank always meant well, but when he kept blaming the slight droop to her eyes upon "those teenage hijinks," Ellie couldn't help but want to duct tape his mouth shut for the day. She'd have to endure this, for it was all necessary. They started with a bit of sparring, went into some patience exercises, more sparring, some practice with the yellow boomerang that ********* gave her, then finally the daily dump off of her energy in the form of a rainbow that was formed incorrectly for the Rainbow Revenge attack. Usually, training went on uninterrupted. There were so many senshi in the city these days that youma did not seem to last to long once they popped up. However, today was different. They had started with the training, finished up their first bout of sparring and had moved onto the patience exercises. It was then that Iris commented "...dude... Parth-Vader... there's a youma nearby..." Desustruction Parthenope rather enjoyed training with Iris. She was a great sparring partner if anything. It would be a shame if their sessions had to end because she learned her attack. It was pretty relaxing for him to get out a bit of frustration and anger out without needing to worry about getting caught or charged with assault or anything. "Youma? Someone hasn' gotten rid of it yet?..." Normally they got stamped out pretty quickly. However, it wasn;t like him to pass up a fight especially if it aided them in the long run. 'Let's go take care of it then! Give you some on the job training as they say!" "....naw... I don't think anybody's done a thing 'bout it..." The blonde stood herself up from where she had been sitting. She was going to start running towards the direction she sensed the youma, but then Parthenope pretty much said what had been on her mind. "Yeah... whatever... let's jus' get goin'!" With a wide gesture of the arm, she signaled for her teammate to follow along with her. The duo took to the streets, remaining grounded rather than to the rooftops. As the pair drew closer, something became pretty obvious. The youma's aura had a Negaverse Captain's aura close to it.

Sassolite had been given a youma to look after as it were. What with all this new whatever it was she felt rather attached to the youma knowing what they were. It made her more sentimental as it were and the youma were becoming very close to her heart. It was odd to think that the captain could well care about much at all as she never seemed to but she did and well this youma was an especially bright one.
Sassolite had started off sitting on a roof letting the rather human like youma wander around by it's self. It did a pretty good job really and well didn't look as bad as some of the other youma one would see about. The fact that it had paws instead of feet was irrelevant oh and the large claws instead of hands - that as well.
It had been sucking the energy from all over the place and Sass had already had to teleport off to take some back in case anything happened to it. She had been back a while though and fully recovered, that was when she got off the roof and lent back against the wall. The youma was currently walking around with the people about, some walked quickly away from it but others were more curious it was a shame really they hadn't been out in the middle of the day it would have made all this work even better. It was only a little nagging feeling that made Sass more aware - enough to notice two senshi were heading this way.
"Watch out... senshi about..." She gave the youma a warning, realising they weren't all really dumb she felt better treating it as an equal.

The pair eventually made it down to what seemed like a relatively open street that seemed to be getting stalked by what looked like some sort of fan-furry cosplayer. If it weren't for the energy escaping the creature, she would not have known it was a youma. She was much more adjusted to the monsters being less humanoid and much more like animals. The youma wasn't the only thing at the scene though. There were plenty of looky-loos just hanging around, begging to become victims of the Negaverse. "My f*ckin' god... how stupid are those dipsh*ts?!" she muttered under her breath in a voice only loud enough for Parthenope to hear. Shaking her head, she eventually decided the first thing that needed to be tended to was ridding the area of the pedestrians. It honestly was times like this that made her wonder why the senshi were the ones with the bum rap when it was the opposing side that relied on monsters and stealing energy and starseeds that should have been feared. "Parth-vader... distract the youma... I'm gonna clear th'area of th'looky-loos." She tightened a fist and summoned up just enough energy for a weak Rainbow Ribbon (muttering the attack name under her breath). Desustruction Leave it to people to stand around and get killed. It's almost like the crowds in Destiny City were asking for it. "You always get the easy job!" He chuckled as he surveyed the scene. The youma didn't look that tough. It didn't even really look like something that even would be a youma. Hopefully this would be an easy assignment. The last few youma he'd come across took a lot more effort to get rid of than he was willing to put into this. Either way, with Iris occupied, there wasn't much he could do about it. Parth cracked his knuckles before whistling as loudly as possible to try and get the youma's attention. "Hey freak show! The convention was last week. Put the costume away! " He wasn't quite sure how intelligent youma actually were, he was sure they were pretty stupid with all things considered, but being the loud mouth was his specialty. One thing that Sailor Iris was not was conventional. It was just easier to go about this in the less conventional manner than running up to each person and asking them super nicely to take cover. They had been so stupid to remain around outside in the first place with the youma lurking about. So now was time to just scare them. Rushing towards the first group, the blonde whipped her practically harmless lasso of colored light near a group. She was just planning to make them flinch, with the added intimidation of a less than gentle "Get yer asses outta'ere!" The first batch of civilians seemed to react perfectly, however, before she could truly get to the second grouping, a head of familiar red hair caught her attention. All plans to get the rest of the civilians out of the area seemed to be tossed out the window as she shouted out a near-war-cry of "SASSOLIIIIIIIITE!!!!!!" Where as Parthenope attended to the youma, the blonde senshi was now about to do the same with the Captain.

To be honest seeing how the senshi acted to get the people out the area amused Sass somewhat in fact she would have rather liked it if a tv camera was there because wow what a way to just prove how bad the senshi were. In fact Sass would have been more then happy to stay there all day if it wasn't for the fact she suddenly heard her name called in a war like way. What a shame.
She summoned her bow and arrow.
She shot at Iris.
She then yawned.
Wow this was gonna be boring. In fact she was so sure that the senshi would take her sweet time and that her arrow would hit she started watching the youma who was now heading towards the other senshi. It didn't try and talk it just headed towards him, apparently it's claws grew and it was now heading towards him. Yep that senshi would be senshi mince in no time.

It was easy enough to predict that Sassolite would start things off by shooting an arrow at the eternal senshi. However, this time the blonde wasn't caught off guard. With her rainbow still lighting up a trail from her hand, she whipped it slightly at the arrow, just narrowly knocking the arrow off its path. Rather than planting itself into her torso, the arrow shot past her body, crashing into a nearby wall instead. Fool Iris once, shame on you. Fool Iris twice, shame on Iris. However, with the redhead turning away in a disinterested fashion, Iris could feel quite a bit of rage rushing through her veins. It was a moment for her to ideally rush up as fast as her legs would allow and punch that girl in her smug little face. So far the footwork part was working fine for her. Sassolite's advantage in battle was being able to cause damage from a distance, but at the same time, this was also Iris' advantage too. With her ribbon already out, she then lashed out towards the redhead, in hopes of snagging her with what was essentially a lasso made out of colored light. Desustruction This youma was definitely different. he'd never fought one that was quite so human before. Was it special? Whether or not it was some special creation, it was no reason to deter him from his goal. The lengthening of the youma's claws probably would have scared the crowd but not the senshi as he rather boldly stepped towards it, making sure to stop before he would be too close to the dispersing crowd. "I wasn't aware there was a furry version of Wolverine. I must've missed that issue." Parthenope stretched his fingers once again, pivoting slightly so he could make sure to quickly get out of it's reach as quickly as possible. He didn't take so many years of Capoeira to repeatedly get hit in the face. "Either way, let's get this over and done with quickly. I've got things to do." He raised his hand, smirking as he watched the thing advance towards him "Dead Aim!" Parth tried his best to shoot tar as close to it's feet as possible, hoping for the youma to get stuck to the pavement. It wasn't often that he started out with his attack but fighting an unknown youma was hard enough in a populated area. Having a moving enemy he knew nothing about would be even worse.

Sass hadn't counted on her arrow missing. Of course it was likely that something would happen and it would miss but she was loving this youma. It seemed that she was about to have her attention back on the senshi when that lasso missed her by less then an inch.
She turned quite quickly to see the senshi getting too close for comfort. She grabbed hold of an arrow into her hand and looked at the senshi, waiting. She wasn't about to let this fight happen while being unarmed.
"Bring it on b***h." Sass smirked and waited. It was going to be one hell of a b***h fight.
However on the other hand the youma seemed to have a couple more surprises for the senshi it was fighting. As it seemed to get stuck in the tar that now surrounded it's 'feet' though it seemed becoming stuck in one place just led to something new and so the claws just extended a little more but this time they started towards him at a speed as if the claws were daggers heading straight for the senshi's chest. Sass could happily depend on the the youma, after all it was a good strong clever one and wanted to eat a senshi.

Seeing the Captain even move to put another arrow to the string of her bow was enough to get the senshi moving even faster, pushing herself to get to the redhead faster. "Oh no ya don't!" she shouted as she then swung her non-glowing fist towards Sassolite. The one thing that was a bit convenient about her attack was it stayed as long as she kept the fist tightened up. So it wasn't long before Iris added a secondary punch towards the redhead, this one glowing of the light forming the Rainbow Ribbon, the attack itself seeming to follow her swinging motion. Desustruction Parthenope thought he had this one in the bag. A few quick punches and this fight would be over an done with. That was until the youma's nails shot out just as quickly as his own attack. He quickly dodged the on coming claws only to feel a stinging pain in his shoulder. The senshi barely had enough time to check the damage before he sprang back to his feet a few paces away. He glanced to the offending limb and saw no blood. In his mind, no blood meant no injury though he would be in for a shock in the morning when he found a long, thin wound marring his skin. If anything, the pain was still even as Parthenope tried to walk it off. "Damn. That better not leave a scar!" The teen wasn't known for his even temper and the fact that this thing was able to damage him wasn't helping. A quick and easy fight be damned at this point. He had it stuck to the ground right where he wanted it. The senshi of tar dashed towards the youma, ready to strike.

"Enjoy loser!" Sass laughed at the senshi and keeping one eye on what was going on below jumped from her spot.
As she jumped the youma seemed to retract it's claws to shoot them out at the senshi again but this time it didn't go for the senshi it went either side leaving the senshi in what looked like a cage with a youma at one exit and the captain landing at the other.
She looked up at Iris, a senshi she knew well, or liked to think so. She loaded her bow and pointed at the senshi that now seemed a little stuck. The youma's teeth seemed to have also grown to sharp points and to say it looked easy to attack was an understatement. The senshi was trapped and an arrow was pointing at his head.
"Sleep well senshi, death will be painful...."

Desustruction He was usually able to get out of these situations. A quick cartwheel and a well placed flip normally helped him from getting into a sticky situation. The claws framed him perfectly, making it an impossible venture to even think of getting out of this one. The soft but stern voice behind him, completely alien and unfamiliar, was just as unexpected as the youma's sudden movement. "Sleep well senshi, death will be painful...." Parthenope was, for lack of a better word, stuck between a rock and a hard place or rather surrounded by a multitude of extremely sharp places. There was no way this could end well if Iris didn't come quickly. While he couldn't see the arrow pointing towards his head, the threat was no less imminent. His grin was still plastered on his face but bright gold eyes were quickly filling with worry. "Aren't you...going to introduce yourself before you kill me?. It's rather disrespectful don't you think? " If there was one thing Waylon learned more than anything else, it was respect for your opponent. Besides, who would they know who to curse for all eternity with their final breath? It was only fair. Despite how many encounters the eternal senshi had with Sassolite, that b*tch was always tossing new tactics at her. Normally she didn't just jump out of the way, so eagerly, Sailor Iris chased after her. However, she stopped as the captain loaded an arrow upon the string of her bow. It was level with what seemed like her own height, but pointed away from herself. Wait a minute...And then Sailor Iris remembered that Parth-Vader had been with her. "Oh. Sh*t." There was one problem that the tomboy had. Most times she didn't think about what she did, acting on instinct. However, a delicate situation like this that OBVIOUSLY required brain power left her absolutely stumped. Considering where Sassolite was aiming her arrow, it was obvious who was in front of her. "...yer a f*ckin' coward, ya f*ckin' b*tch..." she snarled out, remaining in her place. In her mind, the blonde was running through as many scenarios as she could in her head on how she could go about this situation, yet nothing seemed to be working. Sassolite would easily let go of that string and send that arrow flying if Iris used any attacks that could do anything. However, a stray thought came to mind. Revenge. At first, it didn't seem like a good idea, since it wouldn't do anything. Sassolite had seen the eternal senshi use this attack, and it hadn't done anything. ...but maybe that can work to your advantage?Taking a deep breath and swallowing that slight fluttery feeling in her stomach, the senshi then called out "Let's make this a bit more colorful!" Hoping to have maybe caught the redhead's attention, she closed her eyes and clapped her hands together. Maybe the captain would remember the start of this attack. One question seemed to be echoing in the back of her mind. WHAT THE F*CK DO I DO NOW?!!!

"Introduce myself? Why don't you... after all might as well know who I am killing." Though it seemed the rainbow senshi got her attention back and so she turned and then she laughed.
"Learnt how to use it now have you?" She just laughed.
"Just say your goodbyes and be over with it." She then turned and nodded at the youma whose claw wall seemed to be moving towards the senshi. He was going to have no where to go and no way to move. The arrow wouldn't miss.

Desustruction Parth was definitely sure he had no idea how to get out of this. The nega behind him sounded like she had every intention of killing him. Still, the fact that she was actually speaking with him helped his chances. Marginally yes but at least it was a start. "Are you sure that's how it works? Not many people see it that-" He quieted the moment he heard Iris. She'd gone off to clear the crowd and left him to deal with not only a youma and a rather homicidal maniac? She either thought too highly of him or wanted to get rid of him. It was a testament to their unbelievably close friendship that he suspected that it must have been a bit of both. This was only because he was unaware of their previous fight. He'd probably have a talk with Iris, if he lived through this of course, of the miracles of teamwork later. Took her long enough... Oh god! was echoing in her mind as she heard Sassolite seemingly toying with her teammate. It didn't seem like her own taunt had worked. Then again, it seemed as if the Captain had managed to catch onto the fact that Iris' attack wasn't something to worry about. How in the world was she going to be able to pull this off?! She hadn't been able to figure out her Rainbow Revenge attack before, so what would make this time around anything different? This required concentration, and her mind was now flitting everywhere in panic. Amidst her panic, a familiar furry face seemed to show up behind her closed eyes. "Oh, and about your Rainbow Revenge... you should probably try to simplify what you are thinking about when forming the rainbow itself. Where is the energy coming from?"Of course, remembering such advice was only leading to one question in her mind. Where was the energy coming from?! Was it supposed to be something that was "right in front of her face" obvious? Her own mental voice attempted to strictly scold her current worries away. Stop that! Settle down... you can't save Parthenope like this! Concentrate! Though it didn't ease her anxieties, it did seem to silence her thoughts. The voices of Sassolite and Parthenope dulled to almost nothing, almost as if they were some sort of hum. And then she heard it. That gentle laughter she heard every time she went to the asteroid Iris The voice of her world that she needed to hear every time she went to visit the sandy rock. ...the energy... it comes from Iris... It felt as if she had just finished a 1000 piece puzzle, setting the very final piece in its proper place. Focusing in on the voice of her home world, the girl opened her eyes and began to part her hands to form an arch of bright colored light. Her voice called out strongly the name of her attack. "Iris Rainbow Revenge!!" Her fingers almost seemed to tingle as she held onto the arch. If she had time to sit and admire her handiwork, she might have done such. However, with an arrow pointing at the Senshi of Tar's head, that wasn't a good option for now. So with that, she flung the rainbow away. It honestly seemed as if the senshi completely missed the mark, probably adding a boost of confidence to Sassolite if she even bothered to notice. The makeshift boomerang whipped past Parthenope and even the youma, skewing towards the side. However, it then turned itself around, making its way back. To the side slightly, but still within view for the senshi, allowing him time to react accordingly. Desustruction Even though Parthenope was preoccupied with the arrow pointing towards his head and the youma encasing him between it's claws, he was at least able to notice the spinning rainbow boomerang coming towards him. When it sailed past him almost like it had been deliberately thrown that way, he figured he was done for. There was nothing that could help him now. Her attack had failed and he was going to end up with a sharp thing through his head. A quick flash of color in the corner of his eye and the fact that it was a boomerang finally dawned on him. He ducked, hoping her attack would hit his mark and he wasn't left vulnerable.

Sass hadn't bothered caring about the attack in fact she saw it go over their heads and nearly laughed at least she would have but she let the arrow in her bow go instead. She let it fly towards a senshi who ducked? He ducked! She was about to say something when the youma leapt on to the senshi on the floor but as it did so something happened which Sass wasn't quite expecting. The Youma got hit.
Sass just watched as the youma was sliced by the rainbow boomerang and to say Sass was pissed was the understatement of the century. She would have checked the youma, or to see if the senshi was dead but she couldn't see the senshi, maybe the youma had dropped on top of him? She wasn't about to wait and find out.
She jumped quickly back onto a building and got another arrow ready and looked for the rainbow senshi. She was going to die now.

There had been a bit of grunting the moment the youma had pretty much decided to pounce on him. Yet the moment that furry body had attacked him, it seemed to grow limp quite quickly as it received the brunt end of the attack that had truly been meant for the Captain. He wasn't about to complain (well, about anything other than how heavy the youma now was). He quickly shoved the rather limp creature off of himself while still using it like a shield. Now that he was safe, Parthenope needed to get his bearings.
The rainbow senshi watched as the Captain jumped, which was not a good sign. Considering how much energy she had just dropped with her attack, she wasn't up for getting shot up full of arrows today. Based off of which building she saw the redhead jump too, the blonde ran to essentially the same building in an effort to make her more difficult to shoot. The moment she managed to catch a glimpse of a pair of yellow eyes, she waved her arms in an effort to signal her teammate over.
Nodding his head, he sped over, leaning in slightly as he approached so he could hear her plan.
"...let's blow this popsicle stand..."
"...who the hell says that?"
She snapped at him slightly. "I do! Now let's go!" With that, the two senshi fled the scene, hugging to the buildings until they were a safe enough distance to change back to their regular selves. By then, Ellie was laughing tiredly.
She had done it. She had finally done it! After over a year, she had finally figured out her Eternal attack.

They had ran.
"Bastards." She hissed. On the plus side she was now perfectly fine - she hadn't been hurt at all. She teleported to the Rift. She would need to pass the information on about the attack working and the youma's death.
Oh how she hated senshi.
