
But it was not a predator they froze for. Instead, stumbling through the undergrowth came a newly hatched foal. Her eyes were bleary from just opening and her legs still shaky. She snorted, shaking the sleepiness from her body, before continuing on in a more steady fashion.
The foal was quickly becoming frustrated. Her body was not responding the way she wanted it to and she no longer cared how much noise she made or how much destruction she caused. With another snort, she continued on through the reeds, ignoring the stares she was receiving from the smaller creatures.
