The Story of a Samurai
Biography of Takeshi Hatake

Chapter 1: The Beginning
Takeshi Hatake was the son of a Sannin ranked Hatake Shinobi and a Jounin ranked Shinobi. He was born in Konohagakure on August twenty-seventh. Two days before his birth, his father had entered the shop of a fortune teller. She told him that his son would become the greatest Hatake to ever live. When he returned to Konohagakure, he named his son Takeshi (武), meaning warrior.

Chapter 2: Early Life
During Takeshi’s early childhood he was spoiled beyond imagination. He had several nurses to watch over him. Many people in the Hatake clan thought this treatment would ruin his view on life. They put a stop to it as soon as they could; making it so that Takeshi didn’t have any special treatment.
Despite the other clan member’s thoughts, Takeshi’s parents continued to get him whatever he needed, or wanted. This made the other clan members angry. They ignored Takeshi whenever he came near them. Takeshi noticed this behavior and asked his parents to stop treating him differently than the other children in his clan. They listened to him, for a while.
When Takeshi turned seven he got an interest in weapons. He was quite good at using them, so good people said he was a natural at the blade. His parents noticed his talent and looked for someone to train him. Takeshi was subjected to several teachers before his parents found a Samurai that was willing to teach him. When Takeshi first met the man, he was awestruck.

Chapter 3: Training of a Samurai
Takeshi’s sensei put him through rigorous training. All of it was to increase his natural abilities. During his training, he gained strength rival to that of a Shinobi. Because of his heritage he was naturally faster than others, which decreased the time necessary for his training.
Takeshi learned the Ki strike in a time that not even his sensei had been able to learn it. It only took him one week to learn that ability. After he had learned that technique his sensei knew that there was nothing else he could teach him. When he reported to Takeshi’s parents about him being finished with his training as a Samurai they didn’t believe him at first. They assumed it would’ve taken longer than the time it took. Takeshi had to prove he learned all he could from the man, by sparring with his father. His father was impressed enough to believe the man.

Chapter 4: Entering the Academy
After his rigorous two year training as a Samurai his parents put him into the Konohagakure Shinobi Academy. His first day of class was only two days after his ninth birthday. Takeshi was just as good at learning ninjutsu as he was with his physical training. He learned jutsu in less time than most others in his class. The teachers in the Academy considered advancing him in the classes, but when Takeshi said no they didn’t.
After several years, six to be exact, Takeshi graduated from the Konohagakure Shinobi Academy. He had taken the Genin Graduation Exam only once, and passed it the first time. During his time in the Academy he had learned several jutsu, many of which he would come to depend on later. The Academy taught him no Kenjutsu, or Taijutsu though so he had to learn those on his own.

Chapter 4: Genin to Chuunin
Takeshi was first placed in Squad 4, under the leadership of Nexus Uchiha. From what he had seen, Nexus seemed to be a little cocky. The other person in the his, Miho, was blunt. After their first mission, he had traded in the dual Kodachi that he had carried around, for a katana.
