Wow. First one to post a topic. Been a while! hehe. Alright, well here goes my summary. wink
Summary!
LEO! He come to town! He come to save! His friends and family! Because Karai attack them all day, and now the children don't play, but they will when Leo saves the day! HALLELUIAH!
Anyway, yeah. Leo sneaks back into NYC, and sees the lair in ruin. He gets pretty pissed and/or sad. Then one of those foot mech attacks him. He beats it up but good. That was pretty sweet. Despite teh ruined lair, Leo knows his family is alive.
Outside 2nd Time Around, the Foot are watching. When Angel enters, they check to see fi they hav ea file on her. To be all sneaky, she hands April a pizza box. With a note. Then April says "THIS AIN'T MINE PIZZA. HERE" SA NOTE FO YO DUMB BOSSES!" Then Angel leaves. The Foot figure she's just a pizza girl and let 'er go. April leaves the box in a phone booth, and Leo stabs it and reels it up.
April tells her what Karai told her. Now Leo is one grumpy adolescent terrapine practitioner of the art of ninjutsu! He is, however, convinced his siblings and father figure are not members of the departed! And so, he goes out on a quest. A quest...for answers. ninja
So first he checks out the underwater, and finds the remains of the sub. Using his...amazing...detective...skills...? He deduces what happened to Donny. And we are shown exactly what happens in a flashback. he finds them, and takes them to a place.
Then he does the same for Raph and Mikey. Pretty nice. Or something.
Then they talk about stuff. How Karai's a grump or something. I dont' really remember? Leo offers to get eeeeverybody food and stuff. There's also a nice scene between Splinter and Leo where he says he has his son back. aww.
Then we cut to Karai standing at her father's statue. And then Leo does this badass thing where he throws taht broken sign and says "Hello, Karai."
Then there's a pretty awesome fight. And Leo offers her one last chance. What a nice fellow.
When he gets back he has food and shtuff. And then they talk about how this place could make a nice new lair. It is also under a castle-thing that I think I saw in my Ultimate Spider-Man game today.
--------
Aweosme Episode. Leo was never my favorite turtle, but this episode showed he is definitely way cooler than I thought. At least this version of him. I really like everything about this episode, it was prettty sweet. The new lair...well, we haven't seen much of it yet, but it did look like it had potential. The location ispretty cool. Under a castle? neato. =O
Next week is a bunch of monsters or something. Yay. =/
Another highlight were the commercials for Ultimate Avengers. m/

great to see everything come back together again. the turtles will rebuild their new home too. but uh i don't think it was under a castle. it's like on the outskirts of NYC. i don't recall there being castles there confused
the only thing that was weird is how the turtles escaped. i mean last week it showed them blown to bits with no escape. but all of a sudden mikey jumped out while the thing chasing him should have saw him and i don't recall seeing raph ever speed away off screen in last week's episode...well that's because he didn't in last week's episode blaugh
oh and did anyone notice they changed around the intro again? like some stuff changed at the beginning, and then the part where they say "we shredded shredder" was replaced by karai in a shredder costume and she says something
overall, great episode. i'm really glad the turtles are a unit again and can rebuild for the future.
oh btw, what happened to their first lair? iirc, somewhere this week or last week it was said that the currently destroyed lair was their second lair....or perhaps it was someone on here who said it. yeah i think someone in the guild said it

Kickass ep, especially the battle of Leo Vs. Karai. Although it was short, it was a great fight. Leo definately learned some fighting skills from the Ancient One as well as insight.
-Good to see that Klunk is good for something other than standing around looking kawaii. He's also a decent watchcat!
-I wonder why Mikey was so surprised about Chinese food for breakfast. I have it all the time, and I'm willing to bet many other people do too (especially those that live in China and Chinatown).
-Karai's as bitchy as ever. Like I didn't see that coming.
-The Angel Message Delivery System (or AMDS, my term for it) was pretty ingenious.
-The theme song did indeed have a few new lyrics, as well as some new scenes (such as the Tortuga Bros. Moving Van seen in one of the TMNT minisodes) The complete lyrics are as follows:
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Turtles count it off! One! Two! Three! Four! Turtles! Mutant chain reaction Turtles! Never let us down! Turtles! Ninjitsu (sic) action! Turtles! It's a shell of a town!
Turtles count if off! One! Leonardo's always in control Two! The wise guy is, Michelangelo Three! Donatello, he's the brains of the bunch Four! Count on Raphael to throw the first punch
I love being... I love being... I love being a Turtle! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!
Turtles count it off! One! Two! Three! Four! Turtles! There's no one better! Turtles! Karai: Watch out for Shredder! Turtles! They're like no others! Turtles! Those teenage brothers! One! Two! Three! Four! One! Two! Three! Four! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

They kept on zooming over some decrepid model-castle in a park. I sort of assumed there was a connection between the two. 'least I think that's what it was. I didn't have my glasses on.

Yeah Rob they've now had two lair's destroyed. YAY! stare I really liked the one one too. *sniffle* I'm still upset about that.
I loved this episode though, it was a fantastic way to begin the day! Leo's back and he's better than ever, everyone's safe (of course) and Karai got her a** kicked! What more could a girl want?
Next week's ep looks kind of stupid to me but I'm hoping it's a funny kind of stupid, y'know to lighten the mood a little. I could handle that. ^^
And as far as the theme song goes... UGH. Okay, we all know they're going to have to change the theme for season 5, so why this? My opinion is that they realized they had theme song writers on contract so they decided tthey were going to get their money's worth.

The intro never changed once in three seasons so I never really paid attention to it. Now they go and change it twice for this season and of course season fave will probably have a totally new one for it's new setting. When I heard the new line "Never Let of down" I looked up for a second, missed the Turtles chopper but saw the Turtle truck.
Oh the first lair was destroyed in the first episode by mousers.
Next weeks episode does look dumb, but there is a chance it's a Bishop episode, and who knows maybe it will be the start of the mutated mutant Donny story that we know is happening this season.

S - did i miss something? what's that angel message delivery system? ninja
lady leo - yeah you could be right about the song writers on contract 3nodding
creativerealms - thanks for telling me about the first lair. it's possible i didn't know about it because i didn't know about the new version of TMNT when it started a few years ago. i think i just stumbled upon it or something. good thing i stumbled upon it as early as i did though. *thinks back to that first TMNT game a few years ago* oh yeah! i do remember mousers busting up their lair! 4laugh

The AMDS is simply when Angel used a pizza box to send letters between April and Leo.
And the theme song change didn't really need writers. All that was changed was "Livin' underground" to "Never let us down" (since they no longer technically live underground", and the return of "Watch out for Shredder!", albeit said by Karai.

The Shredder thing is stupid incidentally. I mean... well I'm just assuming that she's not going to back off like Leo said otherwise changing it for one episode? DUMB!
But whatever. If Leo doesn't kill that b***h next time she screws around with them then he needs a good swift kick in the head. Not that killing really happens on that show... but y'know, it could be implied. xd

Hey guys!
I just had to post about this episode... it was brilliant!
The fight scene with Leonardo and Karai at the end was nicely done. But why does Leo give Karai so many chances? ninja
I rather like Karai's bitchy attitude. It reminds me of my mom's. whee
Although, I only got to see the first 15 minutes or so of last week's episode (Scion of the Shredder). I hear that was one helluva episode!!
