Symphony sat by the camp fire which she had managed to finally make with a lot of effort and hard work. Echo had helped her eagerly and her father lazily gave instructions rather than getting off his rump, this wasn't his usual behaviour but he was probably just tired. The fire began to glow just in time, it was kept going whilst everyone was awake but always extinguished when everyone went to bed with a bucket of water. Sy turned her head to look for the pale but it was empty...someone didn't do their job today. She'd have to go and fetch some herself. She inhaled the smokey air as if it'd give her courage, she'd hardly gone out in the dark alone. Although she'd been an adult for a long while, her father still wanted her safety until she found someone she liked and it had to be someone who he could put his trust in.
The clouds passed over the moon, sometimes gaps in the clouds appeared leaving the moon bare. This was the only proper kind of light for her away from the fire. Luckily her darker colours didn't make her too visible.
