Staff has talked, and cosplays are now allowed to have abilities relevant to their original characters own abilities. This means that if a cosplay has no abilities beyond….say, reading, then your fox can not suddenly have magical abilities. Currently, this is limited to only official cosplays (those listed in the cosplay thread), but regular foxes may at some point be allowed to have certain abilities. Foxes ABSOLUTELY CANNOT do anything that involves the use of hands/opposable thumbs. They only have their mouths and limited use of their paws to manipulate objects. So if a character is trained in swordplay, the fox cosplay will have to use only their mouths to wield the weapon, etc. Basic abilities such as reading will be allowed without contest if the character has them. However, ‘magical’ abilities will need to be run through a cosplay ability approval thread that is soon going to be set up. This thread will not be used to outright reject abilities: It is meant to make sure you only use powers inherent to the actual character, and that they are modified so they cannot godmod. Username: Katachii Cosplay: FenrisOriginal Universe Cosplay Originated From: Dragon Age II Summary of Original Character's Abilities: (Taken from the Dragon Age Wiki) Once a slave of Danarius, a Tevinter Magister, Fenris bears markings of lyrium on his skin that have granted him the unnatural ability to phase through solid objects; however, the experiments performed on him also caused him to lose all of his memories. The limits of his phasing power are unknown, but Fenris uses this ability mostly as an unexpected weapon, phasing through individuals and solidifying, killing them violently. He has fled to Kirkwall as a fugitive, constantly hunted by the soldiers of his former master. The lyrium burned into his body causes him pain, making him guarded against physical contact; however, it is more of an aversion to them being touched rather than physical pain. List of Abilities in Modifoxes:-Fenris' markings glow, even under his heavy armor. -Ability to phase through objects, even living ones. Weaknesses/Limits in Modifoxes:-Fenris is in constant pain because of his markings, and does not go out of his way to phase except when needed (for example, if he's being attacked by a wild animal) -As a limit, there will be no phasing through other Modifoxes, as a weapon or otherwise unless the other RPer previously agrees to it. This would only be for fight RPs, and he would not kill the fox unless Fenris is being used for a staff-approved death plot.

She can teleport between different fields in The World. She also seems to be a mute with the ability to speak telepathicly, though she only demonstrates this ability with Tsukasa and the details of this power aren't given. List of Abilities in Modifoxes: - Hovering - Telepathic communication - Teleportation Weaknesses/Limits in Modifoxes: - Hovering will have the same limitations as a Phim or Daeva flying. Maha might have better manuverability because of her size and lack of wings making her more flexible, but she will expend energy the same as if she has wings lifting her from the ground. - Maha cannot see the thoughts of others nor can others send their thoughts to her, unless they have a special ability of their own. She cannot send pictures or feelings, just words. Basicly it's the same as having a normal conversation, except you hear Maha's "voice" in your head instead of with your ears. - Maha has to have a clear picture of where she's going to teleport before she can do so. In other words she is limited to visiting places she has already been. The energy cost will be the same as if she walked or flew the same distance. If her body doesn't have the energy to make the trip but she tries anyway then she will completely drain herself and will not teleport. Think of it like building an energy bridge from point A to point B, and if she doesn't have enough energy to complete the bridge she can't get to point B and loses all the energy she put into the bridge in the first place.
EDIT: Recently I wondered if she could take things with her when she teleports. I think maybe, but energy rules apply. For example: Maha can hold a paw-sized rock and it won't really affect how far she can fly. Same with something the size of a BCR. Newborn kits and small perma kits she can lift, but they're about the same weight as she is so she wouldn't be able to go very far before she tires herself out. She can teleport with something the size of a rock or BCR and it won't affect her much. With a newborn kit or small perma she can teleport, but won't make it very far. With something like an adult fox or anything bigger and/or heavier she can't teleport them at all. This was just a random thought though, I'm fine with having it as Maha only being able to teleport herself and the clothing she wears if the staff object to this as being a little excessive.Confirmed; only able to carry small things (rocks, BCRs) though

With his surgically-implanted third eye, thanks to the demonic osteopath Shigure, Hiei can display wide array psychic abilities- including telepathy, telekinesis, remote-viewing, and erasing memories. List of Abilities in Modifoxes: -Speed -Swordsmanship -Telepathy Weaknesses/Limits in Modifoxes: I'm not going to have him any more or less resistant to fire than your average Deava. He is a little faster, but not nearly fast enough to leave an after image. I figure he'd be quicker at running or flying and could easily get away...if he wanted to. But not to the point that if he were fighting, he'd always land hits or always dodge.
Swordsmanship is pretty easy. He uses his mouth instead of his paws. He prefers not to 'dirty' his sword, though, so he'd probably only use it against inatimate things or during a heist.
As for the telepathy, I was thinking he couldn't read minds unless the other fox was purposely trying to communicate with him that way. For example: Yoko and Hiei have to be quiet cause they're hiding from...idk a bear. And Yoko has a plan, so he thinks it at Hiei and Hiei can hear him.Confirmed

The plants are in fact plants and he would be in a great disadvantage against a daeva because the plants are not always flame resistant, A fox could also bite through them with some effort. They arent completely unbreakable. Also growing the plants takes energy and Yoko doesnt have a infinite amount of energy, the longer and bigger he makes the plant the more exhausted he is afterward. Example: say he made a tree for some reason, it would probably knock him out for the next ten hours.Confirmed

Dreams are after all not the most reliable path for information. She would also not be able to enter every fox’s dream, she usually has to have direct contact with the sleeper. This means she can’t wade from fox dream to fox dream. She might stumble across one (would have to be approved by the other fox owner) but she can’t get into one on purpose without contact.Confirmed

This is made apparent when she uses them to heal Kuwabara, both after his and Yusuke's fight with the Toguro brothers, and later on in the Dark Tournament and even heals instantly when Toguro leaves a superficial cut on her cheek. List of Abilities in Modifoxes: -Ice Powers: -Accelerated Healing: Weaknesses/Limits in Modifoxes: -Ice Powers: Can lower the temperature of the surrounding area of a limited range. Probably only around herself and a couple of foxes. No freezing someone to a solid block of ice or harming anyone simply because it isn't in her personality to hurt someone. -Accelerated Healing: has the ability to heal minor wounds without plant mixtures. Larger wounds she has to use shamanistic knowledge, but she can help heal the wound so that it doesn't scar or help save a fox from an injury that may kill it.Confirmed

Magic tricks (non magic, muggle ones) Found a deck of cards? Or makes them from items he finds?
Weaknesses/Limits in Modifoxes: Missing an ear so he can't hear very well. Only really achieved any true magical talent in Charms, Transfiguration and Defense so he couldnt tell you the difference between a Pepper-up potion or the Draught of the Living Death.... so hes suspectible to posioning lol.

List of Abilities in Modifoxes: Same as George but adept at non-verbal magic and potions instead of charming things. Making Potions (might be a good skill to be used as a healer for foxes!) Can do small magic feats. Muggle Magic Tricks. Weaknesses/Limits in Modifoxes: The hot-tempered of the two and very distracted by lady-foxes.

It has been shown that whatever that she says can become reality, with no certain limits to her powers except for Eucliwood's resistance to the side effects of using her powers. Applications of her reality warping powers are as follows: Resurrection: Although not directly seen, she has shown powers of resurrection, as she was able to revive Ayumu and the Lord of the Night from the dead. It is unknown if there are any restrictions or limits of this ability. Death Affliction - By saying the word "die", Eucliwood is able to instantly kill a person. In Kyouko's case, she was able to deplete the lives acquired by the rogue Masou Shoujo, whose ability allows acquiring more than one life. However, using her powers in this way, she experiences a intense pain in her head. Healing: It has been shown that she has the ability to heal the wounds of others, but it also comes with a side effect that she also suffers the pain of the person she heals. List of Abilities in Modifoxes:1)Healing:by taking on ones pain she can heal minor wounds. 2)message projection:since in the anime Eucliwood mainly communicates with a notepad this will be a way to have her communicate without breaking the heart and soul of the character. her projecting the message she wants to convey telepathically(or some similar means would at least be a close fit)since she cant write Weaknesses/Limits in Modifoxes: Included some basic nerfs to her powers.and those can be found in the "Abilities" section above abilities also cause her intense strain/pain when used as she is instead of healing one transferring their pain to herself. staff please assist me inmaking the powers more reasonable

I will either edit or delete this post if needed, but for Red... Since he has no actual specail abilities that do not tie to mako, is his combat skills intact? Basically able to jump, tackle, bite, all basic stuff as I was never planning to use Mako wit him as it get's complicated on where he got it ect ect ect. if actually needed I will of course edit this and put the form but it is a question since again Red XIII does not Naturally have any note-worthy abilities I am actually aware of, unless someone can correct me? ^_^ Thank you and sorry for the unprofessional post.
