Fusion found himself wandering through the forest close to his home, his tail swaying from side to side like fire dancing due to the heat. He was frustrated at his brothers, always practising flying in front of him knowing too well that he hated that they both had wings while he didn't. That didn't mean there were that Fusion didn't have a trick or three up his sleeves...... but GRRRRR!! He stomped his hoof on the ground, "Stupid brothers...." He said with a sigh before looking around at the tree tops. He found one that was heavy with apples just ripe for the picking and without thinking he ran towards it, jumped and slammed his hooves into the hard barked surface of the wood sending a jolt through the tree. Sure enough several apples feel to the ground, landing with a thump around him. With a lick of his lips he picked his target, wiggling his little tail in the air as he lowered himself towards the ground ready to pounce.... one.... two.... three! He jumped, bringing his hooves down on either side of the apple. "Gotcha!" He chuckled, feeling much better after his little hunt and chase.

Velvet Velvet had been napping, she was finally free from being grounded, but then in her opinion her sister had deserved a hoof to the nose, it was just a matter of time till it happened again. Sighing feeling lonely, her brother liked being alone, her sister didn't seem to want her around... By default she was alone, or at least she thought she was till th tree by the bush she was skuling under shook and an apple landed right next to her.
Blinking she looked round hearing another voice, shifting slowly nd peering through th bush seeing another foal, a boy but not one she knew. He seemed to be having fun, and not even stopping to think if he might want her to join in she crouched low and growled, still hidden in the bush.

Fusion froze for a moment, his little fire coloured tail stopping it wagging as his eyes looked around for the sound. It sounded like a growl.... but more high pitched than the ones his mother described coming from Kalona's and skinwalkers..... "Who's there?" He asked, his eyes fixing on the bush near the tree he was playing on.
As he continued to look Fusion began to make out a few things.... one was a pair of eyes similar to his own but the shade new born grass, two was that a tail was sticking out of the tip of a tail that seemed to alternate between being hidden and being on show. Suddenly not afraid he lowered himself into a playful croach also, his tail once again wiggling. "Come out! Or I will have to come in." He chirped, a soft giggle lingering on his voice.

Velvet Vel giggled in delight, he wanted to play! Her tail swooshing in a slow wag she wiggled her rump and growled again."You wouldn't DARE" her tone teasing but also challenging, she might be a little mmixed up about some things but ot her thinking her father was a skinwalker so she was too... though she was starting to wonder if she was going to take after her mother... "If you come in I'm gonna eat joo all up!" A bold bluff, in fact the apple he had been attacking had looked more tasty food wise than he did, but it sounded intimidating right?

Fusion hesitated for a moment, wondering if he had perhaps stumbled across a wolf or a fox? Yet after a moment he shook it off and narrowed his eyes, his tail still swaying playfully in the air. "Is that so?" He asked as he kicked off with his rear legs into the bush with her.
At first he couldn't see much, just lots of green leaves and some brown branches.... which he was thankful didn't seem to be thorny, though the did scratch and tug at his little body. A moment later he saw a brown figure, and the same green eyes. "Gotcha!" He said he raised a hoof to tag her.

Velvet Vel had staggered back blinking in surprise when he had actually pounced at her, falling bac tail over head with a cry as she avoided his tag. Seeing him upside down a moment till she righted herself and stood on her little bronz hooves. "Ha Missed!" Her tail wagging victoriously as she started to giggle, lowering into a playful stance. "Now I get to eat you." Growling again th giggling, the giggling really lowered her threat level.

Fusion took a moment to take her in, she was a foal just like him.... though her tail seemed unusual he didn't feel threatened by her. "I would like to see you try." He said growing, flashing his brilliant white teeth at her. "Maybe I will eat you!" He chuckled as he stepped back only to discover that the bush prevented it. Fusion turned his head for a moment in distraction as he looked at the object that proved to be more stubborn than his mother when it came to eating all their dinner.

Velvet "Ha!" Pouncing at him when he looked away, pretending to chomp on him, though she did manage one rather good bite on his rump, though it wasn't meant to hurt, sat lookign rather surprised when she found herself on her rump looking at him havign triggered his natural bucking reflex.

Fusion stared wide eyed for a moment as he tried to figure out what happened.... "You bit me!" He exclaimed as he looked at his rump, it stung a bit but there was no real damage and definatly no blood. It was then he turned back to her, realising that he must have pushed her down by accident. "Sorry....you ok?" He asked with a tilt of his head, genuine concern peeled on his face.... he knew his mother would kill him if he ever admitted to hitting a girl, even by accident. 'You don't hit girls' she would say, 'you are meant to protect them!' He lowered his ears on his head suddenly ashamed with himself.

Velvet Vel jumped up to her hooves and grinned at him. "I'm fine, I bit you so we are even, besodes its not your fault." Grinning over her surprise, giggling a little finding it funny that her plan had backfired. Wandering over to him her odd tail wagging a little again. "I'm Vel, who are you?" No finess to it, this wasn't a girly girl by a long shot, besides she had found landing on her butt in the dirt funny. Looking round she spied the apple he had knocked down. Smiling back at him. "Hey can I have one?... please?" Remembering some manners after a moment.

Fusion smiled at her, deciding that what his mother didn't know wouldn't hurt her. "I'm Fusion! Nice to meet you Vel!" He chirped, before turning his head to look at what she wanted... one of his earlier 'targets'. "Sure...." He said walking towards it and nosing it towards her. "...It's all yours." After all, it would be a shame to waste it.

Velvet "Thanks!" She rubbed her nose to his cheek in a clumsy nuzzle and pounced on the apple chomping it down in record time, it seems she had been hungry, though she hadn't noticed th apples in the tree, it wasn't clear from this side of it. Locking apple juice from her lips she smiled at him again. "You wanna play?"

Fusion watched her with a smile on his face, she seemed to like apples as much as he did. Of course he completely forgot that thought as the propest of playing jumped into the picture! "Sure!" He chirped, his tail wagging playfully behind him once more as a sparkle lit his eyes. "What you wanna play?"

Velvet This stopped her tail wagging as she sat on her rump and thought. "I don't know, usually games involve me getting hurt... stupid sister.." Muttering th latter as she shuffled her front hooves in the dust. "Maybe hide and seek?"
