The storm was wicked that night and Karis was scared. Her beautiful house was going to get ruined and all she could hope for was that the sand and her way of making the castle held up during the downpour. Karis paced in her living room constantly looking out the windows, she was scared for her house but now she was also scared for splash and squirt. She hoped they both went to safety in the cave that they lived in.
The night dragged on and Karis could only think of her home, Squirt and Splash. She wondered what else this night could happen. She sat down in her sand chair and looked around silently waiting for the storm to pass.

If there was one thing Malina hated, it was the insane storms the beach called for occasionally. She had been surfing, but quickly abandoned that after watching more than a few people wipe out. Didn't help any that it was already night time, she needed some rest and no place around looked safe.
She decided to stick close to the rocks and cliffs, walking as close as she could below them. Hopefully there would be a rock high enough or a dry spot to stay around.

Karis still sitting on her chair was not happy for the rain still pouring down. She decided to go look in her see room. She walked down to that water room where she had real glass stuck in the sand like a window and the sand were the water was swept away for the window to be real. She could see fish and anything really awesome looking going by. She walked to the one window that faced south and seen a something on the rocks..
What was it? Could it be something hurt, lost? The rocks would never be protecting that thing, if it stood there for much longer. The storm was growing stronger and she knew that her house could out last it but in between the rocks like that creature in the distance was going to last at all. She quickly raced out of that room and towards the door of the living room. She looked out side..It was pouring down, thundering and lighting. And she hated lighting that was this bad out, but that creature was in danger.
So out the door she bolted and into the forest that was near her castle she took the path that lead up to the cliffs and she looked down and seen a fox sticking closely to the rocks. She sighed and went down to the landing where she usually met Splash and squirt. She looked back towards the fox. "Give me you paw. I will help you!" She yelled at the fox. Karis couldn't go anymore cause there was a large leap to the rock and ledge Malina was on.

Malina continued to slink along the edge of the rock. That is, until a voice seemed to appear out of this air above her. She had been so focused she hadn't noticed the fox above her at all. Blinking for a moment, she hesitantly took the fox's paw. Who was this stranger?

Karis was relieved that the other fox took her paw. She pulled hard enough to get that fox onto the ledge to safety. The rain poured down like crazy on the two foxes. Karis smiled at the female fox. "Let's get you out of the rain and into dryness." She smiled at the young fox. She jumped up on the next rock and then on the other. She was back up at the top and looked down. "Hurry up Miss you don't want to catch a cold do you?" She was concerned for the young girl. She didn't know how either of their systems could handle a storm.

Malina nodded quickly and heaved her surfboard onto her back before carefully jumping after the other girl.
"Haha, no, a cold would be terrible," she laughed quietly. The rocks were slick with rain, and she nearly slipped once or twice, but successfully made her way up to the new fox who was leading her.
"Thank you."

Karis watched as she almost slipped, poor girl, she must have not been use to that much wetness. She smiled as the girl finally got up to her. "Yes a cold would be terrible indeed and anytime Miss." She led the girl into the woods on a path that wrapped around to the beach. She smiled as she got to the very end, where the sand reached the dirt. She looked back and watched the other girl, she smiled and looked back towards the sandcastle.
About 5 to 10 yards was a beautiful sandcastle that stood before them. It doesn't look like it would have been liveable but it was and Karis loved this place. "why don't you come on in and relax." She smiled as she looked at the other girl. She sprinted to the castle door. "Hurry up you don't want anymore wetness soaked into your body with this wind!" She said looking at the girl. She walked in her house and waited for the young fox to come in.

Malina followed the fox quietly, pausing a few times to make sure her surfboard was balanced well on her back. She was a little more than relived to see the sand again, and smiled as well.
Malina looked up at the sandcastle and was slightly awe-struck at the sight. It was amazing! She stood for a minute, looking over the sand castle before a loud crack of thunder sounded behind her. She quickly nodded and ran inside. "This is an amazing house you're got, ma'am!"

As soon as the girl ran inside, Karis closed the door to keep the rain from splashing in her house. She turned around. "This is an amazing house you're got, ma'am!" The girl said. Karis smiled at that statement. "Thank you, took me about a year to completely get it right. I have a kitchen, a dining room, two sea rooms, one is for collection and the other is underwater gazing. I have 3 bedrooms all together and I also have another room but that is for my storage. Would you like some tea? Like seaweed leaf tea? It is really better than what it sounds." She smiled. She like having guests over, it pleased her well. "Also will get that chill out of your bones from the storm." She said handing over a towel with shells on it.

Malina's eyes widened in surprise. "No waaaaay!" She grinned and looked around, marveling at the giant home. "Tea would be great, thank you!" She chirped, taking the towel and wrapping it around herself. "Thank you, again."

"Yes it was very fun to make." Karis smiled she like surprising others it worked out well. Karis nodded when the girl said she would like some tea. She ran into the kitchen and grabbed her teabags and sat one in each of the cups. She grabbed her shell tray and sat it on the counter. As the water started to boil, she was still grabbing items like sugar, milk, honey and well seaweed.
The pot on the stove began to screech and Karis quickly pulled it off the stove and into the cups. She placed the pot on another burner and then decorated the cup. She placed a seaweed half in the water and half sticking up. She place the tray quickly but carefully on the rolling cart and brought it out to her.
"Anytime Miss you are welcome here. Oh and my name is Karis. My father named me before my mother killed him and abandoned me on this very beach. My father named me Karis Océane Gordon, french name, he was french. My mother wanted him for his money...Little did she know he didn't have much. Such pity it was. I loved my father very much." She paused she didn't know why she just told a complete stranger what she was feeling or what happened to her. "I am sorry, what was your name again?"
(yeah she has real appliances like refridge, stoves and stuff like that only its solar powered.)

"I'm sure!" Malina laughed, curling up in the towel and looking around. The were so many little details - and it must have been amazingly detailed and structured. She had almost totally spaced out just looking around before Karis had begun talking again.
She took the cup and quietly listened to her host, sipping on the tea. "A pleasure to meet you, Karis!" she bit her lip, frowning slightly. "That's terrible! I'm sorry to hear that. It's a very pretty name, by the way," she giggled slightly, "Sorry, I'm Malina. Uhm. Similar story, I suppose," she tipped her head to the side, "I don't remember having parents, though."

"It's fine I guess, like i said I do miss him." She smiled. "Nice to meet you Malina. Well if my father was around, i would totally share. <3 Now my days play here, do maintenance on this castle, go swimming with scout and splash. I have been thinking about having kids one day and having a family of my own. But i dont know whether i will find that one true or not."

Malina giggled and sipped at the tea again. "Thank you for the offer!" She bit her lip and frowned slightly at the mention of kids, glancing towards the door of the castle. "Yeah, I know what you mean. Thought I found the one true one, once." She sighed a tad wistfully and went back to sipping at the tea.

Krysia looked at her. "Oh i am sorry are you okay, you are frowning and looking at the door, is everything okay?" she wondered if she said something wrong. "Did i say something wrong?"
