XXX Now, I know not many instruments are pitched in Alto Clef. I am lucky enough to play one of them. I play the Viola, or at least I'm learning.
I had never heart of alto clef until I started lessons. At first it confused the hell out of me, because every thing was different. I spent four years learning in treble clef, and now every thing was different. at least with bass clef, the spaces are still in the spaces and notes on the lines are still on the lines. But with alto clef, the spaces where on the lines, and lines where in the spaces. B is a C.
XXX But now I'm so proud of it, because I know not many people play this clef, and it's quite rare, and my teacher told me playing viola would get me very far in life. Being as not many people play it, and everybody wants it. It makes me happy thinking I might have a chance out there.
