My home:

x My family have been entertainers for generations. I learned from a young age to dance and preform for people, so I'm not shy in front of crowds.

We used to live in Sri Lanka, actually. I'm the first one in my family to be born in King's City.

x I don't live on campus, and have had to make a special deal with the school to allow me to work for my family's shop. I have to maintain at least a B average in all my classes, otherwise I have to quit my job, and my family needs the help.

Occupation: Seamstress
x In her younger days, Mom was a dancer as well. She still dances sometimes, but her age is slowing her down.


x Dad x
Name: Roshan Darsha
Age: 62
Occupation: TV Personality
x He eats fire, juggles, swallows swords, dances, he's one of the better entertainers I know. Dad is the one who taught my brother and I to dance, as he learned from his father, and his father.

x Grandmother x
Name: Yaso Darsha
Age: 81
Occupation: Shop keeper
x Grandmother has had the hardest time adjusting to life in King's city. She still believes in tradition, and a lot of things in this western culture confuse and upsets her. She speaks very little English.

x Grandfather x

Occupation: Shop owner
x He still thinks he's young enough to dance. We worry about him sometimes.

x My brother and I used to dance together when we were younger. He was good, but I'm better. We still dance at festivals. He just doesn't practice as much anymore.

x Maya's family is paying my way through Tidal Heights. Apparently her parents don't approve of Nalin being from a poor family of entertainers. They decided I might be the only thing to save the family and if I go to Tidal Heights, I might make something of myself some day.
