What's Your Style? She dresses rather conservatively, in knee length skirts and cute knit sweaters. Her make up choices are minimal and most of the time she wears little pearl earrings. You'll never catch her in a shoe with any kind of heel even though she's short she still can't stand them. She's all together bookish and kind of a dork. A hip dork though, Mag also always has her orange laptop bag hanging from her shoulder. She can't go any where with out it. She's not very bold, and she's not very sexy, but she does have the look of a smart young woman.
xxxxx►►What Defines You... Maggie has a 'command' key symbol tattooed on the inside of her left forearm. It was done by an ex-boyfriend of her's who was a tattoo artist. He gave it to her for her twenty first birthday. The young woman also has a scar from a cut she received as a child running across the back of her right hand. It's hardly noticeable, but if you were looking for it, it easy to spot.
How Schooled Are You? Mag did very well for herself in high school. She was a straight A student, and got herself a scholarship to one of the nations more prestigious technology schools. The school is located in the heart of Megalopolis and Maggie is working on getting her masters in Computer science from them with a full ride scholarship.
Got a Day Job? Besides her work at the University, Maggie does some freelance computer work for local businesses. She mostly just sets up networks or programs websites. nothing huge.
Morals and Philosophy? Do the right thing, the thing that's best for the common good. Maggie is a hero if there ever was one. She cares, really Cares about others, putting everyone one else before herself. The girl may seem meek and quiet during the day, but at night her real personality comes out and she is bold and brutal in the name of justice.
What's Soo Super About You? Technology come easily to Maggie. It's like she's some kind of computer herself, able to read code and interpreted digital data as quick as any super computer. She also understands how technology works, what its strengths and weaknesses are, how best to use advanced weaponry. She's a technophile if there ever was one, able to control circuits and electrical appliances just like she was asking an old friend to do her a favor. When it comes to useless data her mind is like a steel trap. She remembers everything she reads and sections the factoids into 'files'. It's like her brain is running on a computer operating system.
xxxxx►►How'd You Get soo Special? Maggie's parents were very smart people, they both worked for a lesser known government lab as researchers and scientists. Thinking it a good idea, they tested on Mag while she was still in her mother's womb. After she was born the testing continued, doses of localized radiation and shock therapy coupled with drug treatment and minor surgeries. The end result was a little girl who could talk to computers. When the government cut funding for the program Maggie was four.
xxxxx►►Nobody's Perfect Over working her self. Mag can literally burn herself out if she does to much at once she will fry her nerves, cook her brain. So most of what she does is very strategic and very careful. She has plenty of capacity to use her power but the risks are to great for her to push it very often. Mag also has no super strength, or hand to hand combat training, without her guns she's almost useless.
What Do You Use? A couple of automatic specially designed hand guns, and a mini notebook computer. She also has a great little super suit. It have circuits inlaid into the fabric that gave of an electric shock kind of like a tazzer but only for a brief moment. When she's doing her heroic work Maggie wears a dark red wig to cover her short hair.
Where Did You Come From?
Born in a Lab in Northern Pennsylvania, the first four years of Maggie's life were full of experiments and unmentionable horrors, but though all of that her parents really did love her. They were doing the things they did to her to make her better, to give her abilities and to study her. It was a time that she can't remember now but there are photos that show what happened and she's looked back at them many times. Once the funding dried up for the project Maggie's mother got a teaching job at MIT, her father managed a research position and the family moved.
That's her first memory, the move. Starting school in Massachusetts was not so smooth, the other kids made fun of her for her socially awkward tendencies and her choice of dress but it really wasn't worse then any other geek had it during their schools years. Maggie was bullied in primary school and even some in secondary. She put up with it, never so much as raising a hand to strike the larger kids back. She had been raised better then that. In stead of hitting back or teasing she would keep her mouth shut and wait until she got home to react. The girl did react though, she reacted by building herself up a new persona. A hero. She could get picked on every day as Maggie, and that didn't matter... But as Macintosh, she was all powerful. The little nerd decked out a couple of automatic hand guns and made herself a super suit. she practiced at night and when the time came for her to finally go to college she started her work as a hero in Megalopolis.
Maggie spends her days on campus and tooling around town, she tries to act normal and do normal things like dating and studying, but by night she works as hard as she can, fighting crime and keeping the streets safe. The girl has been hurt in the line of action more times then she would like to admit but she always goes out the next night ready for a fight.
