The thing about these lipstains is that they're really pigmented, and they last a really long time. The first time I tried applying it, I tried using it as a marker (since it has a marker tip, it seemed only natural), and I got way too much color. It was kind of embarrassing. So after a lip scrub to get the color off, the second time I tried, I dabbed it on and got a way better finish. The stain goes on matte, but the other end of the tube has a lip balm, which adds a little bit of shine on top.

^ That was the result of the color "Frenzy", a magenta color. I also bought the color "Mystical", which is a medium pink.
I really like these lipstains since they go on matte and don't require a lot of upkeep (it's lasted through me constantly drinking water), which is good if I'm going casual but don't want to feel naked. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a low-maintenance lip color.
One thing I should note is that if you have any imperfections on your lips (dead skin, peeled skin, etc.), lipstains will make it really obvious. Dead skin in particular will show up as a darker discoloration. A lip scrub made from sugar and honey and followed up with vaseline will help with that.
Has anyone else tried any other brands of lipstains, and if so, are there any that you would recommend?
