The Altered Wilderness is actually a forest that appears on most of the Underworld. It's thick and the trees are twisted and look nothing like normal human trees though their shapes may be the same. The leaves are more a burgundy color and the bark is so brown it looks black. The grass is the same color as the leaves. The trees are alive and moving, much like the grass. It sways and shifts. Soil is hard and soft, always shifting slowly and the color of the bark. Animals in the forest may appear to be like regular animals, but aren't. They can and will fight back. They vary in size and colors and are nasty, savage little beasts. So beware when you come in here.
