Name: The Frostbriar Estate
Owner: Rhil Aerideth
Location: Wealthy portion of the housing district
Other: Not as elaborate as the surrounding homes, but certainly not without grandeur. Two stories tall with an east and west wing, the house also has a cellar and magnificent winter garden in the back yard.

On the ground floor there is the dining hall, the kitchen, and smoking room in the west wing. On the opposite side is the parlor and the study. On the second floor, both wings consist of elaborate bedrooms and baths, with the master bedroom in the east wing at the front of the house.

Rhil purchased this home shortly after selling his family mansion that rested on the outskirts of town. While it is not homely, it is significantly smaller than the house he grew up in. There are only three workers within Rhil's employ: A butler, a maid, and a cook, all of whom are rarely seen or called upon, instead tasked with the basic upkeep of the house.

Only once or twice a year does Rhil host a grand party at his home, but it is always the talk among the upperclass.

Cerra had finally made it to Mimir City! It took her two days of travel to reach it; mostly by foot. She stopped for sleep only once, but rested frequently to eat and take a load off her feet.
Her first thought as she saw the enormous city was that it was huge. People might have thought it was a beautiful, sparkling city with tall buildings and elaborate roadways; but all Cerra saw was a huge human civilization which was definately not beautiful in her opinion. Nature was beautiful, not masonry nor architechture.
She started down a street where, obviously, very affluent people lived. The street was full of grand mansions whose properties were lined with wrought-iron fencing and had wrap-around porches with tall, starch white columns and stone walls. She pondered what millionaire would spend half of his fortune on a house as she passed by a mansion that Cerra actually liked. It wasn't as elaborate, but was just as grand. Obviously the person who lived there needed a big space, but didn't want to show off their riches.
When the street ended, she turned the corner onto a main road to travel to the heart of the city; which was where the government building and many large businesses were located. She had no idea what she was looking for, but she knew she had to travel there. Hopefully, she could find someplace to spend the night.

Feeling herself hesitate, Satoko's hand wavered before knocking on the door of the large two story house. Her supply of arrows were dwindling as more and more seemed to break.
Standing in the blustery cold she waited for the door to creak open as she fought the urge to dash off into the forest. The door edged open to allow a sliver of light to enter the crack in the doorway.

Name: The Obsideo Moenia Inn
Owner: Phil Kerphes
Location: On the outskirts of the middle-class part of the Housing District
Other: Almost the perfect place to stay while in Mimir City. Cheap, it is an Inn that would do most anything to get business. For some strange and illogical reason, their residents don't stay very long.
((Just translate its Latin name, and you'd know why!))

Rosa strolled down the streets, looking around for an inn. As she passed through the wealthier district, she frowned as she saw a man and a woman being waited on by servants. One of the servants slipped and broke the wine bottle he was carrying. The man then proceeded to begin yelling at the servant, cursing at him for his "incompetence". Rosa scowled; she hated rich snobs. If it were up to her, slavery would be eradicated and cruel people like that would be punished for their deeds. However, she did not have the power to change that.

Finally, she found the middle-class district. She began to look up; at the signs of businesses. "The Obsideo Moenia Inn," she said quietly, standing underneath the sign, "Well, I suppose I can stay here." She pushed open the door, then scanned the room for people. There was an old man asleep in a chair in the corner, and a bored looking young woman behind the reception desk. The woman looked up when she heard the door open, and quickly changed to a business-like face when she saw Rosa.

"Hello, may I help you?" asked the woman.
"Ah, yes," said Rosa, walking up to the desk, "I require lodgings. What are your prices?"
Several minutes later, Rosa was sitting on the bed in her room on the second floor. She looked out the window, watching the gray sky.

Cerra had asked around town for a place to stay. They all pointed her towards a part of the city known as the Housing District; it's apparent where the more affluent Inns and houses are compared to the others, they said.
She made her way down a street that looked fairly nice, yet the houses were much smaller and more quaint. Near the edge of that section of the district, she saw a nice looking place that had a beat-up sign in the front of it. It was called The Obsideo Moenia Inn. She wondered how much it cost, but she decided it didn't matter if it was a reasonable price because she was finally employed.
Upon enetering, the young woman at the desk looked positively elated at the sight of Cerra. There was a skinny older man in the corner, but he didn't have any emotions on his face, because he was asleep. After signing in, the young woman showed her to her room- it was far nicer than the one she stayed in in Thobie!
She didn't feel like staying in the room, so she laid her backpack, sheath of arrows, and bow on the bed and headed out into the city again. She made sure she still had her daggar with her and made sure it was hidden.

An older man stood at the door, dressed in a rather simple and worn suit, though it was obvious that he was the butler of the home. His eyes closed temporarily as a gust of wind blustered through home, and when he opened them he was slow to focus on the young woman standing before him.

He spent a long moment clearing his throat, seeming to have a slight difficult regaining his breath. Satisfied with the state of his throat, he finally opening his mouth to speak.

"Welcome to the Frostbriar Estate, miss. May I be of assistance to you?"

Looking up at the older man Satoko heard her soft voice speak out as the man in the worn suit looked down at her,
"I am in search for a blacksmith for my arrows have broken and I need more for protection." Feeling herself shiver slightly in her bare feet she added a quiet,
"And a warm drink if you can spare it. I thank you good sir."

"Mr. Aerideth may be of assistance regarding your arrows, miss, though I cannot be certain. Unfortunately he is out at the moment, though I shall send word to him at once. He is always willing to help those that come to him. In the meantime, please, do come in, and I shall have a hot drink prepared for you at once. Is tea to your liking?"

He stepped back, pulling the door open with him, and gestured for the woman to enter the house.

A small smile on her lips she stepped lightly into the opened doorway her hair fluttering in the cold winds.
"Tea would be lovely. I apologize most profusedley for the trouble."

"No need to apologize. If you would follow me, please." Shutting the door behind the woman, Henry led her to the parlor, a rather elegant yet welcoming room.

"You may have a seat wherever you like." He crossed the room, throwing open the remaining curtains that had been left shut up. Light flooded the room as Henry stopped at a small chest, pulling out a blanket and offering to it the woman. He then stooped down at the fireplace, lighting and stoking it until it was of adequate size and heat, which took only a matter of moments.

Straightening himself, he faced the woman once again.

"I shall now go and retrieve your tea, miss, as well as call on Mr. Aerideth. Please, make yourself comfortable." He offered a small bow, and left the room with hardly a sound.

Warmth surrounding her, Satoko's eyes gazed sleepily at the fire as it danced in front of her eyes. Soon all nearly faded from existence as her sleep deprived body begged for rest.

Two figures stood before her; blanket of white behind them. The man's face was set in sorrow and the woman's had silent tears trickling down her face. Their eyes remained hidden however.

A scream broke the prescious silence as the man and woman slowly closed a door and left her in darkness and silence

Satoko didn't know it but a single tear crawled down her face.
