Dipping down low, Thane hungrily gulped down the stream that sang down the hill side. He'd finally found a good resting spot. He felt like his body might explode from heat and exertion. Training everyday sounded like it would eventually get easier, at least once your body adjusted. Nope. He'd pushed his lungs, his muscles, and inevitably his mind more and more each sunrise, and sometime more than that. The horizon was turning pink as the sunset faded lower. It would be awhile longer before it cooled off but Thane embraced it. If the stream were deep enough, he realized he'd have rolled in it, self dignity or not. Huffing out his breath, he took once last glance around him and moved lower on the hill side, his body screaming in protest of further movement. Hey- at least it wasn't UP hill, again.
