Sometimes Oliver wished he had his license, he was sixteen after all, a license was the next logical step on the road to being a cool teenager. First a license, then a nice car, and then, maybe even a....girlfriend. Of course that one was a ways off, just the thought brought a flush to his cheeks. Secretly he already had someone in mind, not that he'd ever tell her. There was no way the pinkette thought of him like that, really he wasn't even sure what he felt. He didn't know her all that well, but she was so pretty, and amazing, and well, Ollie couldn't get enough of her. In his mind she was perfect, which made it that much more harder for him. He barely had the courage to speak to her once he figured out what he was feeling. Camp had been a bit awkward after that, and the golden haired boy found himself secretly relieved that the boys and girls had been split up for most of the get away.
He hadn't talked to her since, not that he really had a way too. He didn't have her phone number or address, all he knew was she went to Meadowview and that didn't help him much during the summer. So, instead of dwelling on the fact that he was lonely and couldn't call Allie even if he wanted to he took to the streets, walking around Destiny City. The balmy summer weather was great for walking, and Ollie had even shed his jacket, instead just wearing a cotton tee and jeans, it was surprisingly laid back for him.
Lost in thought and with his golden eyes staring at the sidewalk in front of him, Ollie didn't realize he was wandering aimlessly.

Look there she goes that girl who's strange but special~ Had Coralie Williams actually seen Beauty and the Beast she might have actually felt a little ridiculous walking along the street, nose buried in a book. Really it was a very good book though some of the words at the moment were escaping her. The heroine had been kidnapped by the evil sorcerer and while the hero was trying to get to her, it was seeming more and more like he was totally inept!
What was a girl to do when her hero proved to be utterly useless? Why save herself, of course! Fingers were curled around her hair, teeth worrying at her lip during a particularly intense moment. A moment that had her jostling straight into someone! "Ah! Suimasen!" There was the reflexive little bow, red eyes still not even looking from the book as Coralie Williams headed away from her friend Oliver.
Sometimes, it probably wasn't easy being friends with her. The book went back in front of her nose as Allie headed home, not at all paying attention to what had just happened.

One day Ollie would learn to look where he was walking, but that day wouldn't be today. So absorbed with the sidewalk the smaller body running into him was a shock and he stumbled back, catching himself before he fell. "O-" He had been about to apologize when he realized just who he had run into. His jaw dropped and he stared as Allie walked on by not even seeming to realize it was him. Absently he noticed that she cut her hair since he saw her last, but it was still very pretty.
After a long moment of staring his body jerked as if waking up from stasis and he began to follow after her, forgetting whatever it was he was doing earlier. It definitely wasn't as important as making contact with her. At first he was careful about it, but it didn't take him very long to realize she was so absorbed in her book that she probably wasn't going to notice him. His fingers picked at the hem of his shirt suddenly nervous, should he stop her? But if he did what would he say? His mind flashed to his fish, but that was no help, fish didn't even talk and their mating habits were definitely not applicable in this situation.
Unable to figure out what the best course of action was he just stayed the one he was on, quietly follow and try to work up the guts to talk to her.

A shortcut. It was the quickest way to get from Point A to Point B at any given moment. For Coralie, the shortest way to get home from Meadowview was to cut through an industrial district. Loading bays, an alley or two, ducking around dumpsters and the homeless (of which there were fewer and fewer these days...) towards her nice suburban home. It was absolutely imperative that she get home and sit down to curl up with the book as soon as humanly possible. Even she had to admit to herself, after appearing in a tabloid, that running across town as Super Sailor Chibimoon in mid-afternoon was not a good idea.
Fingers sproinged the curl of her pigtail, flipping the page and wandering through the streets. The path was fairly typical so that it totally escaped the pink-haired teen's notice that she was being followed. Usually it was something that she noticed almost immediately, especially since once upon a time, being followed had been somewhat fatal for her.
But the book was so good.

Petalite was patrolling again, it was something that was becoming routine again, even after her promotion. The only difference was now she had a sexier uniform and a bad a** weapon. Said weapon was currently being twirled around a finger as she stared down at the streets below her.
It wasn't long before she caught sight of a pink haired girl and she was about to seize the opportunity and attack, but she had pause when she spotted a boy following her, lips curling in what could only be called a threatening expression. If there was one thing she hated it was creeper guys who stalked girls.
Standing up from her crouch she reached into her bolero pulling an energy orb from the inside pocket. She rolled the orb in her fingers before she pushed it into her disc watching as it lit up, off setting her orange glow with a green one. Shifting her grip on the disc she pulled her arm back and threw her weapon aiming for the brunette.
The moment the light disc left her hand Petalite jumped from the building, doing a neat front flip before landing on her feet. "You know, you really shouldn't be such a creeper." Not taking her sapphire eyes off of the teenager she lifted her hand catching the bloody disc as it flew back to her.
Oliver's gold eyes were trained on Allie, staring at the way she played with her hair, and the way her pigtails bounced as she walked. He was so entranced that he didn't even realize that he himself was being watched. At least not until he caught the low hiss of something cutting through the air. Turning towards the sound his gold eyes turned to saucers and for a moment he panicked before his sense returned to him and he yelled and attempted to duck out of the way at the same time. "ALLIE, RUN!" He didn't want whoever was throwing a lit up disc at him to get her too.
Unfortunately for Ollie he didn't jump out of the way quite fast enough and the disc cut through his bicep, blood immediately beginning to run down his arm. He winced in pain, lifting his left hand to reach across and put pressure on the wound. It wasn't fatal, but he didn't want to just let it bleed. For a moment he considered running, but then he stood his ground. He wasn't going to let this crazy woman get near Allie.
When the redhead spoke to him he glared at her. "I am not a creeper!" Okay, so it wasn't the most original response, but it was the truth! ...Sort've.

'Allie, run!' Coralie was well into her book but not that well into her book. The voice was familiar, the words obviously directed at her. That pink head shot up and looked to see what was clearly a Negaverse agent standing over a bleeding Oliver Greene. She hadn't seen him since that mess at the camp, shamefully she admitted to herself that she had been busy enough that he hadn't been very missed.
That didn't mean that she wasn't about to save him. The girl looked left, then right. There wasn't anywhere to duck into to henshin without it being painfully obvious that the girl who disappeared behind the dumpster and the senshi who came out were the same person. There weren't even any handy trash-can lids! Red eyes whirled and then settled on what she was holding. Oh no. No no no.
Yes.
Petalite was advancing on Oliver while he was saying something about creepers, time was running out. "Hey! Ugly!" The book was hefted, aim was taken, and as soon as the blue-eyed woman looked up, lobbed. Allie didn't even look to see if it landed. She immediately rushed forward, grabbed Ollie's hand, and yanked.
"Come on! Come on!"

If there was one thing that got Petalite's attention in a hurry it was being called ugly. Her head snapped up, the creeper teen forgotten for the moment. "What did you jus-" Her sentence was cut off as the paperback hit her in the face. Thankfully she wasn't smacked spine end first, but it still wasn't pleasant. Wincing she kicked the book as if that would do anything and then looked around for where the girl went, there was a starseed that needed harvesting.
Unfortunately being hit in the face with a book did what it was intended to do, distracted the Captain long enough for the duo to scamper out of sight. Grimacing her hair was flipped out of her face, and her weapon disappeared into her subspace, its energy gone. Now she had to track them down the hard way.
Ollie turned to stare gape mouthed at Allie when she threw the book. "What are you doing?!" She was supposed to run, not throw things! And then she grabbed his hand and all coherent thought left his head. He was touching her. One hand was still putting pressure on his cut, but the other was holding onto Allie's like a vice.
He followed her without further complaint, only glancing behind them once to see the book hitting the crazy lady in the face. Looking forwards he kept on running yelling at Allie at the same time. "Where are we going?!"

Considering that there was no howl of pain from the Negaverse hoochie, she figured they didn't have long to run. Oliver was all but dragged behind her tiny self, the taller boy spitting out questions. They ducked out of the alley, down around a corner, hitting a dead end. Muttering under her breath in Japanese, there were little options.
No doubt the orange and brown Captain was following them in close pursuit. If she was going to do anything to save them both, she was going to have to henshin. Conflict washed through as she looked down at her bleeding friend, back up the alley, and then around to make sure they were alone. It wouldn't last for long. "Oliver." Her voice was uncharacteristically firm. "I am going to do a thing. You can be quiet, stay down, and let go." She tried to tug her hand away, pulling the compact from her pocket.
He didn't release.
"Let go!"

Oliver wasn't getting any answers, and not getting answers wasn't really acceptable. He wanted to know what was going on! His grip didn't loosen one bit as he they hit the dead end, not even when she told him to let go.
"No way, I am not letting go. Get behind me, Allie, I'll protect us!" He then tried to shove her behind him without dropping her arm. It didn't work very well.

He wasn't letting go. They were running out of time. Muttering some less than savory words picked up from Aitana in Portuguese, her hand clutched around her compact. "Then do the quiet. Moon Crisis Power, Make-Up!" There were the obligatory lights, the colors, the glitter that exploded over poor Ollie. They faded so he was clinging to the white-gloved hand of Super Sailor Chibimoon. She could feel the power signature of the woman closing in on them now and it wasn't going to be pretty.
Yeah, sure, she could probably throw her tiara. But it was almost useless against someone on the same power level as she was. Moon Gorgeous Meditation was useless. Hand-to-hand? Maybe. "Oliver if I tell you to run, you run." It was not a question. It was a statement. "I need my hand please." Stepping in front of him and pulling on her hand, she kicked lightly at the fabric of her bow.
"Hold that." It was the best she could do.

Wait...what? Was Allie speaking a language he didn't know? That wasn't fair, that wasn't fair at all. Mentally he made a note to get Rosetta Stone: Portuguese. Her next words in English had him a bit confused before he pieced it together. Okay, quiet. He could do quiet. That was until she said something about make-up and he was surrounded by flashing lights and...glitter. He yelped in surprise, and attempted to shake the glitter out of his hair but it wasn't going anywhere. Apparently Senshi glitter was the awful kind that stuck to you for a week if you got anywhere near it.
Giving up on the glitter removal he turned his head to stare at Allie, only she wasn't Allie anymore, she was something more. One of those skirted girls he saw on the news, the ones they called terrorists. But she looked nothing like a terrorist, she was amazing, and perfect. His eyes were wide as he stared, almost forgetting about the redhead chasing them. For a long moment he couldn't look away, it was like the world had stopped and the only two people that existed were himself and Allie. Later he would swear that she was glowing, and had sparkles in her eyes. He would also swear that angels started singing and doves flew down and scattered rose petals on them, obviously someone was at the puppy love stage.
The Senshi's voice snapped him out of his mooning and he nodded. "Okay," He still wanted to protect her, but it was obvious that at the moment she had the upper hand in that department. "Oh, yeah, your hand." He let go reluctantly unable to keep his eyes from flicking down to her, in his mind, extremely short skirt. He looked away as quickly as he could, but his bright red face betrayed his embarrassment.
The older boy was doing his best to not look again, but then Allie was asking him to do just that. "Oh, uh, alright." Not thinking about it he muttered something about embarrassment, too short skirts, and the mating habits of Angelfish in Japanese, the language being his go-to one for when he didn't want to be overheard. Of course, that didn't work when the girl you didn't want to hear you spoke Japanese too.
Reaching down he picked up her bow holding it so it didn't brush against the ground. He felt awkward just standing there holding on to it, but it was what he was told to do, so he did it.

What in the world? Was he talking about fish?! There was something about an angelfish and their reproductive habits, then a bit more about the ratio of male to female and how you could tell the difference between the two kinds of fish. In Japanese. It wasn't his native language but it was hers and it was very distracting. Her head swiveled with incredulous eyes, the desire to smack her forehead with her palm growing as she saw him.
Admittedly, it was pretty cute. The sheer, glimmering ends of her senshi bow were gripped in his fists and held not much differently than a pair of reins. "Oh Ollie." Exasperation faded into giggles, the Captain forgotten for the moment as girly laughter echoed in the alleyway. Maybe he'd lost a lot of blood? But then, it was always just a little bit traumatizing to see someone you knew henshin while you were holding on.
Actually she'd never really had anyone holding on while she henshined. Maybe he was actually hurt. Oh dear. "Are you okay Ollie?" The laughter was still there but buried beneath the layer of concern. Petalite was still easily felt not far and closing in, but slowly. It was odd.

It was when those big red eyes caught his golden ones that he realized she understood him. Not even his tan skin could hide the tomato red that covered his cheeks and ran down to his neck. Crap. He wasn't exactly sure what to say next and so had to settle for stammering and attempting to explain himself in vain. He didn't even notice that he was getting blood on her bow from when he had put pressure on his cut.
Hearing her voice he smiled shyly. What could he say? His smile grew as he listened to her laugh, she had the prettiest laugh in the world. He'd put up with glitter and injuries and whatever else she wanted him to do if he could just listen to her laugh for the rest of his life.
Her concern for his well being sent a swell of happiness running through him. She cared whether or not he survived! It was a step in the right direction at least. He nodded, glancing down at his cut arm (which had mostly stopped bleeding at this point) quickly before he looked back at her. "I'm alright, just a little shaken up. How'd you ch- GET DOWN!" He threw himself forwards knocking her to the ground, the orange disc whirring past where they had just been standing.
In his haste to protect her he didn't think about the logistics of knocking someone down like that. The taller boy had landed on top of Allie, legs tangled together, managing to keep her bow tails in his hand even though he was staring down at her face. When he realized he was lying on top of her he froze unsure what to do. He'd never been on top of anyone before, and she was wearing a very short skirt. Oh god.
"Oh, look at this. Creeper boy found a new victim." Petalite sneered, catching the disc as it swung back to her. She shifted into a fighting stance staring at the two teenagers on the ground. Her blue eyes narrowed as she took a closer look at the girl the creeper was on top of. Short skirt, tiara, bows everywhere. ********. It was a senshi. "I suddenly find myself in a moral dilemma. The two things I hate most in the world, a senshi and a creeper, on top of each other." She paused as if she were thinking. "I think I'll kill the pretty pretty princess first." Her grin turned predatory as she began to stalk towards the couple.

Red. Red eyes, red face. It was a rather inopportune time for Oliver to throw himself on top of her and even more opportune for her lonely, romantic heart to pitter-patter twice. The embarrassment of the fact that not only was her rescuee on top of her, he could also probably feel the beat of her heart and knew that she was feeling...oddly was channeled into frustration. "You are crazy! Stay back!" Pushing at his shoulders, Chibimoon swapped their positions before sitting up on her heels, chin raised.
"You can try it Negatrash, but you will fail. Do you know why?" Rising to her feet and leaving the clutching boy prone, that proud chin raised a few more notches. "Because I am a princess. Sailor Chibimoon, here to kick you into a new week!" Idioms still were a bit hard for her to use, unfortunately. Hopefully the point got across regardless.
Eyes did not leave Petalite but her voice was entirely for Oliver. "Stay down."

Again Oliver had forgotten about the crazy lady following them. Being on top of a girl had that effect on him. They were even pressed so close together he could swear he felt her heart beating against his chest. Or maybe that was just his heart pounding against his rib cage, he wasn't quite sure. Either way they were very close and he was starting to feel a bit odd.
Her voice distracted him and for a moment he thought she was talking about him. He wasn't crazy! It's not like he stalked her or something, he just quietly trailed after her. That wasn't crazy at all. After a moment of panicking that she hated him Ollie realized she was talking to the crazy redhead. But around the same time he figured that out she had her hands on his shoulders and before he knew what was going on she was straddling him.
His eyes nearly popped out of his head as he stared up at her. This was also an entirely new position for him. In an attempt to look away from her face to hide his embarrassment he found himself looking straight down his body at knees and the littlest bit of thigh. Oh god. He screwed his eyes shut and in his head started counting backwards from five thousand in Spanish. He really didn't want the situation to become even more awkward than it already was. Unfortunately he didn't think the counting would help.
What did help was Allie getting off of him. He let out the breath he had been holding, his eyes nearly rolling up into his head in relief. That had been close, but he had been spared anymore major embarrassment. He was so relieved he didn't even bother to get up, and was glad to listen to Chibimoon's command to stay down.
"Negatrash? You need to come up with something better than that, princess." Her tone was mocking, showing just how little she cared about her being a princess.
Petal laughed as the pink haired girl tried to protect the creeper kid. "Oh don't worry, he'll stay down." And then she was running using her height and strength to her advantage to push Chibimoon down on top of Ollie all over again.
Ollie's eyes flew open as he felt a weight land on top of him. He found himself staring into Allie's red eyes once again. What the hell? Looking past her his own eyes widened as he saw the Negatrash (he made a note to ask Allie what that meant later) leaning down to hover over them. He didn't know what she was about to do , but whatever it was it wasn't going to be good. So, with surprisingly fast reflexes he flipped them over just in time for Petalite's hand to plunge into his back and through his chest, reaching for Allie.
Oliver still wanted to protect Allie, but he found the only thing he was capable of doing was release a primal scream of pain. It felt like he was getting ripped apart, and set on fire. Every nerve hurt and there was no sign of relief anytime soon. The most he was able to manage was to keep himself hunched over Allie, trying to push the redhead's arm away from her with his own body. It wasn't quite working.
Petalite didn't enjoy screaming, it's why she always ripped out starseeds quickly. Unfortunately she didn't have that option this time. The stupid creeper boy got in her way before she could get her hands around the Moon Princess's starseed. "Damn it, hold still!" Her voice was nearly a snarl as she fought to shove her arm further through his chest so she could get to Chibimoon. Eventually she just had to use the hand that wasn't spearing him to shove him down on top of the smaller girl.
Reaching further in into the teenager increased his screams but she ignored them, a triumphant grin spreading on her face as her hand made it into Chibimoon's chest and she closed her fist around her starseed. Prize get!
