When you actually have your character figured out and decided, make a short post here, describing them. This can include (but is not limited to):

Name
Appearance
Age
Powers
Parents
Personality
Short History (childhood, discovery of powers, relationships, etc.).
PostPosted: Sun Jul 24, 2011 5:51 pm
Name: Ansel Wagner
Appearance: Dark blue skin, yellow eyes, blue-black hair (styled like the picture in the picture thread), pointed canine teeth (fangs), 3 1/2 foot prehensile "devil tail", five fingers, five toes, a flexible spine.
Age: 19
Powers: Teleportation, Intangibility (Phasing), Phys. Mutation - Tail (later levels).
Parents: Kurt Wagner (Nightcrawler), Kitty Pryde (Shadowcat)
Personality: Ansel is a very pensive and quiet boy. Introspective and a pacifist, but loyal and logical. Incredibly awkward and shy, he only speaks when spoken to. Hobbies include reading and meditation.
Short History: Both of Ansel's parents were very loving, accepting, and kind when he was very young. Taking mostly after his father, Ansel's blue skin, tail, and pointed ears and teeth set him apart from many of the other mutant children his age. While this prompted some bullying, Ansel wasn't very affected by it. Kitty would play video games with him when she wasn't helping him study, and Kurt would attempt to fence with him while trying to push his own religious beliefs.

The happy family was soon shattered when Ansel turned 14. He hadn't yet showed signs of either mutant powers that his parents would have passed on to him, and Kurt, desperately wanting to train his son in teleportation combat, began to grow impatient. So one day, before fencing, Kurt insisted Ansel not wear protective equipment. Kurt explained that he wanted to trigger Ansel's powers, in hopes that real danger would cause something to happen. Ansel was hesitant, but trusted his father. A few parries and swipes later, Kurt attempted to stab his son. Unfortunately, this did not have the desired effect, and was successful in piercing Ansel's heart. Without his father's fast acting, having teleported to the best (mutant-friendly) hospital he knew, Ansel would have died in mere minutes. Fortunately, Ansel recovered.

However, this would have a terrible effect on Kitty and Kurt's relationship. Kitty could not forgive Kurt (nor he himself), and their marriage fell apart. Ansel, thinking he was at fault (for not having powers at a normal age), sank into a deep depression and began to distance himself from both parents. Even upon discovering his powers, he would hide them from his parents so as not to allow them back into his life. Kurt would turn to his religion even more heavily now, and Ansel would reject it. Kitty, seeing her family crumbling, could bear the heartbreak no longer and left her husband and son in an attempt to start a new life elsewhere. Kurt continues to pray for her return every day, never losing hope. Ansel has decided to channel his negativity by focusing on training his powers instead.

((EDITING! I feel like we didn't have enough upfront fighters, so I decided to take the spot for it. Since we had 2 blasters, I dropped from the blaster position to take the melee position for once.))

Name: Kenji (Ken) Howlett

Appearance: Kenji's black hair is normally a mess, and unkempt, leading to sideburns and finally a 5 o'clock shadow around his face. Taking the genetics of his father, he tends to keep a little hair upon his jawline. However, taking after his mother, it is obvious he has Asian blood. Which make his bright blue eyes very easy to see, compared to his skin.

When in his normal attire, he normally wears rather casual clothes. Ken likes to keep simple, and wear jeans with a black t-shirt. But more than normal, he can be caught in a dark brown hoodie. Along with rough, and worn combat boots. His clothes are often kept in bad shape. Age can be seen in the color, and a few rips and holes as well. Bandage is wrapped his wrists, and around his knuckles constantly, and as a child, changed frequently. However, the less he began to care if others knew he was a mutant, the less it seemed important to him.

When he joined the X-men he was given a suit. His is a black leather-armored suit. Around the shoulders, down his arms, sides, belt-line and legs is a red stripe. Leading to his black and red laced boots. Above his heart, on the suit, is a red 'X' insignia of the team. Though the suit came with gloves, he quickly cut them off in distaste. His own bandages would do enough to cover his hands, and he preferred them to be more free. Though he originally, insured he would not need the suit, he wears it more often in training.

Age: 22

Powers: Regeneration, Physical Mutations: Retractable Bone Claws, Canine Senses

Parents: James Howlett (Wolverine), Jubilation Lee (Jubilee)

Personality: Even though he is an animal at heart, he is a natural jokester in, and outside the battlefield. Trying to find the punchline, he will play with others until they, themselves, are laughing. When in danger, Ken is having the time of his life. Because of this, Ken is always in trouble, even with the one around him. Sometimes, if pushed too far, the animal is released, but he prefers the lighter side of things.

Short History: After a long time of Jubilee trailing Wolverine, and acting as his side-kick, Jubilee eventually won him over, and started an actual romantic relationship. Soon after, Jubilee gave birth to Kenji. Wolverine did love his child, but was rarely around for him. And when he was, Logan wasn't exactly the most loving father.

As a small child, he was left in the care of his mother, most of the time. They spent their days having fun, or even playing tricks on others, and less time in training. Even as a mother, she still acted as a child, and was one of Ken's best friends. Though his father was normally sour, or annoyed, Ken always saw the best in him, and viewed his father as a saint.

When his father was around, he would constantly push Ken too far in training. Before his powers came to light, they were out running exercises, and even programs in The Danger Room. Everyday, Ken was sent back to his mother, half dead, but still happy. Ken enjoyed training with his father, however, he did not see it as training. It was playtime to him. While his father was nervous and demanding, Ken was laughing and enjoying the danger. He began to feed off it, and wished for harder exercises.

Years past, and eventually, Logan would leave on missions with the rest of the X-Men, and left Ken in the care of his loving mother. However, he grew bored around the school, and decided to try the Danger Room by himself. Setting it too high, he quickly realized his mistakes. While he started having fun, the playtime turned into life and death. Upon being pushed too far, his mutant power came to realization. His wounds healed, while bones were forced from his knuckles.

Though scared, and in pain, he was still excited, and tried to finish the mission. Hours later, students found his body in a deactivated Danger Room, collapsed on the ground. However, when sent to treatment, he was no longer hurt, thanks to his regeneration.

Jubilee was worried at first, but happy to see her son finally blossoming into the mutant life. As time went on, Logan returned home less and less often. Not because he didn't love his family, but because he was an animal at heart, and needed the open road.

Jubilee was sadden by this, and eventually took up missions for the X-Men as well, in Wolverine's place. Ken stayed around the institute, and when he was not goofing off, he continued his training. In the last few years, his family life had shifted, and was no longer around his loved ones any longer. Though he still had friends, he missed his family. At a time, he even pleaded to the Professor to look for his Father, but he said he could not, as a promise to Logan.

Eventually, news of his mother became scarce, as she and a group of other X-Men disappeared. He waits at the mansion, either spending his time like he used to with his parents. Training, playing practical jokes, and of course, waiting on news.

EDITING: My mom is now Copycat, not Mystique. It'll slowly change as I discover more about her

Name: Violet Frost

Appearance: White hair and bluish/purple skin inherited from Copycat. She inherited Emma's mother's green eyes but her mutation caused her entire eye to become green, the pupil only a slightly darker shade which can only be seen at close range.
She wears a short, black bodice with white trim covered by a white leather jacket, it drapes similar to Emma's cape. She wears a short black skirt with black hot pants underneath to help her with agility/reflexes. Pants are too stifling. She wears black combat boots with white laces to match the rest of her ensemble.

Age: 17

Powers: Telepathy, Shapeshifting, (Ice/Storm Elemental eventually)

Parents: Emma Grace Frost (White Queen), Vanessa Carlysle (Copycat)

Personality: Violet was a shy child growing up due to her appearance. Even though she grew up around mutants, she still knew that having purple skin was not normal for human society and therefor decided never to stand out in a crowd in case she could not hide her appearance. She became the silent background character that no one noticed coming or going unless you threatened/offended her. Though she is shy, she has a short, fiery temper and that is usually what makes her revert back to her real skin and use her telepathy (and ice/storm powers) to kick some serious butt.

Short History: Violet's birth was a shock to Emma. She remembered her affair with Scott and thought he was the father but when the kid came out purple she knew she'd been deceived. After some research and various tests, Emma found out that Copycat was responsible for the child after she had done a spy mission at the Institute. Most of the tests showed Scott to be the father but Violet's particular features contradicted his own. During her research, she included Scott and Professor Xavier to help her figure things and told Scott that no matter what, he would not have his reputation scorned. When the truth was revealed, she let Scott know and he went on his merry way.
As a child Violet kept close to her mother because she was often teased about her strange skin. Violet, sick of the other mutant children picking on her, decided to question her mother about her father and found out more than she was expecting. She understood that Copycat was a very logical explanation to her appearance and abilities and left her mother's side to find out more about her other half. After revealing herself as the b*****d child of Copycat, she merely laughed in her face and said she did not care about a random child from a recon mission she had did not want to do in the first place. Violet returned home, more silent than ever and stuck to her mother's side until everything went to s**t.
