Background History:
Tsukino's parents were two of the kindest people in kumo.Her father was from the Body sacrafice sensor clan and her mother was a medical nin.Her mother retired from being a ninja after Tsukino was born and made a effort to make her daughter's life normal.Her father was constantly out on missions due to his usefulness as a sensor shinobi.She grew up only being able to see her father a few times but when she was able too, she enjoyed the time.Herfather was a hardworker but knew his family came first and did everything in his power to make them feel comfortable.He truly loved them in spite of himself.Tsukino knew that in the future she wanted to become a strong shinobi like her father but not let a man hold her back like her mother.Thus began her journey as she entered the academy.
Tsukino entered the academy with a fire of determination.She excelled in almost all aspects of her studies even though genjutsu tended to be more difficult but she was able to learn what was needed. Tsukino made the boy's swoon over her but made a point that she was not going to fall in love with any of them.This was the early sign of her pride and her independence.She was somewhat popular even though many of the girl's had a rivalry with her due to her well rounded skill.She wasn't worried about her looks and was more focused on her ninjutsu unlike other girls her age.As her and her classmates moved into studying various chakra natures,Tsukino began personally teaching herself how to control her own.Many of the people in kumo had lighting or wind chakra natures due to storm release being a ancient combination of the two.But Tsukino had fire chakra and that was quite unusual to anyone within kumo.Her parents were impressed by her unique release and said that it represented her own firey personality.She embraced her uniqueness and used it to her advantage during the rest of her academy years.
She soon graduated from the academy with flying colors and was put into her first squad.She was so excited to learn from her new sensei and was ready to show what she could do.Her sensei,Master yamada,trained her and her teammates that having a powerful chakra nature is what made a ninja stand out.He stated that coming up with your own skills and having determination is what made a ninja strong.So he trained them all to use skills that weren't ordinary for other ninja. Tsukino had long flowing hair and he realized she could transfer chakra through her head to control her hair which she had been practicing for a while. He helped her take this ability even farther and she began to use a multitude of techniques involving the use of her own hair.She was impressed with herself and knew she was on her way to becoming a powerful kunochi.
She and her team went on thier first mission after Yamada put in a good word for them.Thier objective was to return a document to the hidden mist.They all thought i would be a simple task but as they entered the land of waves they understood how wrong they were.A group of ninja led by a man in a coat with red clouds, attacked them and attempted to steal the document.Tsukino and her group fought with ferocity but they were not able to defeat the mysterious man.Tsukino held onto the document and refused to give into what he man wanted.She used everything she knew to fight him but all her technique were useless.One of her teammates was killed by the man's vicious looking sword and Tsukino dropped to her knees in terror.Her other friend,Kai, told her to run while he held off the guy.She didn't want to leave him since she had already failed as a medical nin and let her friend die.But she knew that someone would have to go back to kumo and warn them.She ran as fast as she could never looking back.
She returned to kumo with the scroll that was now covered in blood.She cryed at the feet of the raikage who then felt ashamed he had sent the 3 students by themselves.He had suspected someone would intercept them but he had hoped his hunch would be wrong.Tsukino was given a medal of honor for her work before being sent home.She blamed herself for the death of her friends and began training harder as a medical nin.She honed her sensory ninjutsu given to her by her dad who helped in her training.Tsukino was more determined than ever to succeed and do her best in the upcoming chunin exams that she would have to be taking alone due to the past events.She developed more vicious jutsu with her hair and became more cold in battle.Her father said to utilize this in combat to throw her opponent off.With his help and her sensei's,she was ready for the Chunin exams.
At the chunin exams she was expected to fail since there was only one of her.But unlike the others she didn't have to worry about anyone else and easily took the test without worries.She flew through the first exam and was the second person to finish the Forest of death phase to the competition.She was happy she had made it to the peliminary rounds wwhere she was facing a stong kunochi from Konoha that was from the Yamanaka clan.The girl used mental techniques but Tsukino's will was too strong for her to break and Tsukino viciously swung the girl around with her hair techniques.Tsukino was considered one of the stronger females in the competition and during the final round her male opponent forfeited since he knew of her strength.She was upset that he would just quit but there was still time for her to fight and prove herself to the judges.Her final opponent was a young woman with a fan.She put up quite a fight since she was able to repel most of Tsukino's techniques with her wind jutsu.Tsukino realized hand to hand combat would be key here.Using her natrual high pain resistance she took the blades of wind to get close to the girl before quickly striking her.She hit 5 of the girl's pressure points causing her to release the fan and fall to the ground in defeat.Tsukino deemed the winner,went on to become a chunin.
She brought a smile to the faces of the people of kumo.Even her past rivals were happy for her.Tsukino knew that this wasn't the end though.There is still much for her to learn and people to learn from.She continued her training as a chunin and is considering applying for the much more rigiorus jonin exam.But why rush? Tsukino is still young and isn't ready for the responsibility of training a squad but who knows what lay in the future for this uprising kunochi.
