Gunju had always been slightly chunky for a cub. As he grew, so did his chunkiness. Most, though, would think it was because he was fluffy. It wasn't though, He was more fat than fluff. But he wouldn't openly admit it. He wasn't very happy about his weight, and tried to change it, but nothing worked. As he got older, his fat turned to muscle, which made him look slightly fatter. Though, he didn't say anything if someone laughed about it.

Today was a good day, he was alone under a shaded area provided by a hill of sand. He wasn't really watching anyone, but watching everyone. His mind flickered back and forth on un-important things. He was slowly dozing off in the afternoon heat. He didn't have to work today, it wasn't his day. It was his day off, more or less. Of course, if asked upon it he'd get up in an instant and do what needed to be done. He wasn't THAT lazy.

He let out a long, loud yawn as he sat there. Waiting for something to happen. Something exciting. But he knew that wouldn't come. Nothing ever truly exciting happened. He wished he was looking at pictures on the walls of the ruins again, though that was for little kids to do. He wasn't little anymore. Far from it, anyways. His tail flicked upon the sand, making a almost too quiet thump every time it hit.

Rashida was looking for a new victim to harass. Seeing as Kousetsu had spent most her time with Kayo. What had she done? She had lost a friend because of some male. She was upset, but didn't want to show it. She needed to annoy someone else for a little bit. Harmless annoyance, and with someone who could handle them and not be upset by them. Though, that was the hardest part. Finding someone who wasn't upset by it. She signed. Life had turned to the worse, and she didn't like it one bit. She needed someone to bug, someone who wouldn't run off the moment they found someone.

Of course, Kousetsu did spend time with her, just not as much as she wanted. Her tail flicked rather irritatedly as she moved through the pride lands. Looking for someone, anyone that was alone. It wasn't easy, she had to admit to herself. Though, she finally saw someone alone. She knew exactly who it was the moment she saw him. Only because Kousetsu and him were friends.

A smile crossed her face. She knew he was chunky, she had seen him in the distance before. Perhaps he was easy minded as the friend they had in common with. Though, one thing she didn't expect, was her actually wanting to be around him. Something odd about him, something that interested her. But she didn't know what yet. She moved towards him.

Gunju didn't notice the lioness coming at him at first. He wasn't really paying attention to anything. Just letting his mine be filled with everything, yet not taking in anything. He was thinking, but not about anything that would interest anyone. He was thinking about his past, and what he wished he could change. Though, who didn't do that? He didn't do it often, only when his mind had nothing else to dwell on for the moment.

Then his mind finally registered that someone was coming towards him. He shook his head and closed his eyes for a moment before opening them again looking directing at the lioness. She looked semi familiar to him. Somewhere, or something. But he couldn't place it at the moment. He smiled at her almost lazily, perhaps she needed something, or just wanted to talk. He wasn't use to anyone coming up to him. The last one that did was Kousetsu. She was such a nice Lioness. Pity that he had a small thing for her, and she was already taken. Or at least, she appeared taken.

Crap, he saw her. No matter. When she was in ear reach of him without yelling she decided it was time to say something. "Lovely day, no?" every day was lovely. At least she thought so. Rain, sun, storm, didn't matter to her. Everything was good. She flicked her tail and eyed him a bit. He was fatter up close. "I'm Rashida, What's your name, fatty?" She asked him. Testing how he reacts to it. Of course, she was hoping for something good. Though, it felt right calling him that. For some reason. She smiled at it. It would forever be her nickname for that. Of course, she already knew his name, but she wanted to make sure it was him. Just in case she was mistaken.

How many blue and tan males were in the pride? She had no clue. Most where tan, that's all she knew. She flicked her tail and watched him. Most were also related to her.

Her name now got him to remember. She was Kousetsu's friend that liked to play little pranks on people. They were amusing from what he was told, but never once saw them. Nor her, now he knew. Kousetsu had told him to not take her remarks personally, she didn't really mean anything she said. Though, somehow he didn't know if that was true. Kousetsu was so nice, and accepted everyone for who they were.

He signed at the name she called him. "I'm fluffy," He lied. He knew the truth, but he wasn't going to accept it. At least not infront of this lioness, she was rather cute, after all. And wanted to talk to him. But why? To make fun of him? Probably. He'd not be lucky enough to get someone who'd actually want to spend time with. Except Kousetsu. She always made him laugh. He smiled at Rashida. "Hey, Kousetsu told me about you. I'm Gunju" He said trying to start up a conversation that would lead away from his weight. Or perhaps, he should just take Kousetsu's advice. He laughed, nervously.

Perfect, they knew each other now. Fluffy? Fluffy, well he did look fluffy. But she could tell that wasn't just all fluff. She'd use that against him later. But for now, she just wanted to get to know him, and see what she can use against him later on little harmless funny pranks. Nothing to hurt him, of course. She wasn't completely rude like that. Most the time. She had tried to push her buttons with Kousetsu, and failed. In doing so, she caused a relationship she longed for, but wouldn't ever admit it.

"Kousetsu said some things about you." She tried not to make it like she knew him much. Though Kousetsu had told her a lot about him. Almost every conversation they had, she heard about. "So, what do you do?" She already knew, but asked anyways. She wanted to know everything from him. It was something she needed. In case there was any mistakes in her stories. "I do apologize if I'm being a bit nosie." She said with a giggle. She wasn't sorry at all, but it felt nice to say.

Gunju tensed up a bit. He didn't know anyone talked about him. It was new to him. He could feel his heart pounding a bit more. Nervous as all get out. What had Kousetsu said about him? He'd have to ask her next time they went on a hunt. He smiled at her a tiny bit. What could he say, really? He didn't know. "I'm a hunter, like Kousetsu." He figured she would have said that. Maybe she didn't say as much as he was thinking. He knew that Rashida was also a hunter. Though, he didn't want to say that. It almost sounded stalkerish. But he also didn't want to ask about it.

"Nothing too special, you know?" He said with a chuckle trying to lighten up the mood a bit. maybe that'd help with things. He wasn't normally shy, but he also never had anyone question him like this. What if he said the wrong thing?

Satisfied with that answer, she nodded. For now, that was all she was going to go with. She needed more information on him, but if she got it all at once, what would that leave? Wouldn't make her want to come back and bug him as much. This way, it'd give her a reason to bug him in the future. "That's cool, Anyways, I'ma wonder away now." She spoke with a grin. She liked him, he was her new victim friend, if you will.

"I'll bug you later" She told him. It was a promise that she planned on keeping. She moved away from him and disappeared into the center of the pride. Later to bug her new friend. Regardless if she wanted it or not.
