Hello, and welcome to the Elder Quest Sub Forum! If you are here, that means you are interested in how the Elder Quests work and possibly sign up for one! Before you go all gun ho on filling out the form in the other thread, there are a few questions I need to answer.

Is my Meta eligible for an Elder Quest?
x I n s a n i c x Asu x will PM you when your Meta becomes eligible for a quest. Until then, assume you are not. If you feel that you may be overlooked, please, pm Asu with inquiries. Asu is the only one that hands out eligibility PMs.

Can I sign up for an Elder Quest?
You can only sign up if your Meta is eligible. If you do before then, your post will be deleted and well... you may not get that PM for awhile longer.

What happens on an Elder Quest?
Your Meta will have to go on a journey to find an artifact linked to the world before the war broke out and exterminated all the original angel and demons. It will test your Meta to their limits, facing their fears and overcoming their inner demons.

Can my Meta fail their Elder Quest?
Unless you want them to fail for development purposes, no, they cannot fail. If they DO fail however, they loose their chance to become an Elder entirely, so keep that in mind.

What happens if my Meta turns down their quest for now, but will do it later?
If you have your Meta canonically turn down a quest, they lose their chance to do it. If YOU the person can't do it right then, that's fine, we have plans for that. But if your Meta goes and tells the Elder who sent them the quest that they can't do it right now, they'll lose their chance to become an Elder. Its a one time only deal.

Can I choose the Pre-War Artifact?
No, it is up to the DM to choose the name of the artifact, but the information you provide will determine what it is.

What's with the dice rolling?
This helps with potential god-modding, and sometimes the DM is evil and makes you roll to be paranoid. Usually it is to determine if you hit the enemy or if the enemy hits you or other such things. When asked to roll, do not do anything else in your post but roll.
