It was way too hot for it to be night time. The day had been even worse, making Asclepius glad that both her workplace was air conditioned and the accompanying parking lot covered. She had still rather hoped that, once the sun had set, it would become more bearable outside, though.
Unfortunately, all she really had to be thankful for was that her seifuku was reasonably light and breezy. She thought briefly of poor Camelot, and dearly hoped that, if he was out and about patrolling tonight, that he had enough water with him and took frequent breaks and all that. And worried, faintly, as he had been reluctant enough the last time they met to avoid battles with a broken arm.
Whomever was left at the hospital would be able to take care of him, at least, if it came down to it.
It was a bit of a drive - or a run - to Sovereign Heights, but in spite of the exercise involved, Asclepius wanted to go out there on her patrol tonight, to see how the campus was doing and to work in a much time on top of buildings as possible. Summer was instructing her which ones had dark roofs, and she studiously avoided those, though the sun had been strong enough that most of them were still radiating some heat. At least the jumping from building to building provided some circulation of air that made the warm, stuffy night more comfortable.
Her small backpack full of first aid kit supplies bounced with the jumping, but the Senshi of Medicine paid it little mind. She had forgotten to take it with her the last few patrols, for whatever reason, or, like last time, had not been expecting to need it. She was surprised how many various power sources she felt out and about tonight, though, in spite of the decidedly uncomfortable weather, and so had made sure to bring it with her tonight.
Asclepius made it to the athletic fields of Sovereign Heights and made her way out to the field house, while keeping as hidden as she could manage. Once classes started again, this would be much more difficult, but for now, most of the lights were off, and the brown-haired girl could not see anyone. The field house provided a pretty excellent view over all of the sports pitches, though, so unless a youma crawled out into reality right beside her, or she ran into baddies who could teleport, Asclepius would have a good chance to see anyone coming.

A good number of her enemies could teleport, but -- but this time, at least, they were walking, Ilmenite towering over the smaller shape of Fluo beside him, his hands spread in animated conversation and his eyebrows pulled down in frustration. This was not a happy conversation, judging from that expression, from the fact that he spoke loud enough for bits and pieces of it to carry up and away.
"...not saying I want to punch all senshi in the face, just that one in particular." And it was a conversation that would probably catch Asclepius's conversation at that. Ilmenite looked different from the last time she'd seen him, but the colors at least might mark him as the Lieutenant who'd given her a hard time at a bus stop.
"I mean, am I wrong, or is it totally unacceptable to knee someone in the balls in a fight like that? And then with a ******** sunflower or something..." He sounded more than just outraged, hands flung out one more time as they walked. Ilmenite sounded really, truly angry, something that was a fairly rare occurance. "I seriously will break her face if I see her again."

Next to him, Fluorite might as well have been much younger than she actually was - the comparison was rather striking, really.
It was way too damn hot to be outside, but they really had no choice. Those senshi weren't going to beat themselves up, through Fluorite often times found herself wishing they were damn stupid.
"That depends." She could have made a joke about bad come-ons or Ilmenite needing to be more careful of his junk to eventually give her kids to dot on, but neither were really applicable keeping in mind that... Well... This was Ilmenite.
"I'd knee a senshi in the balls." She shrugged. "Especially if he tried to do back come-ons at me. But that's not really the same thing, isn't it ?"

She hadn't been taking summer classes at all, but Adira wanted to make sure she was ready for entrance exams and therefore had found herself at the nearly empty SHP library somewhat after normal hours. It was one of the few 24 hour library and study spaces that was accessible to students, and thankfully it was air conditioned. Her sundress, light and airy as it was, had still been an uncomfortable amount of fabric on the walk over from her apartment. None the less, she was sitting here, study materials sprawled out over a table meant for four.
The only problem was she had an easier time staring out the window than at her books. It wasn't long before her staring off into nothing actually caught sight of something. It was dim in the few lights that were on in the field area, but they were noticeable enough. Interest peaked, Adira pressed her forehead to the glass and cupped out the light around her with her hands.
It could have been just students, but it could be so much more. With a bit of a grin, Adira packed up her books and stowed her bag behind a couch, out of the way enough to not be seen by any other students before rushing outside. It didn't take her long to find a place private enough from watching eyes to transform. "Perseus constellation power make-up!" The incantation was said softly, and the glow of minty light and maroon ribbons faded shortly after.
It didn't take her long to move closer to the field proper. She'd been hoping for regular civilians, but she could feel the corrupted energy of two captain's nearby. The fight she'd been wanting as a distraction was now going to prove significantly more difficult. Either way, there was no sense hiding- her power signature gave her away more than anything else. "I'm not really sure how its not the same thing. Low blows are low blows, regardless of the situation." Adira wasn't really against them, but only as a last resort.

Asclepius felt the energy of the approaching captains about the same time she saw them, though sight allowed her to pick out a familiar shock of white hair as the two Negaverse agents made their way across the field. Keeping low to the roof of the field house, she squinted to try to get a better look at the taller of the two captains, to try to confirm whether or not that was Ilmenite.
She realized a moment later that, regardless of the quality of her hiding place, she would be giving off an energy signature of her own. Perhaps moreso, since she had received her promotion to Super Senshi of Medicine. This epiphany came as Asclepius sensed another fellow senshi, as well.
In spite of the heat, Asclepius felt gooseflesh on her arms and shoulders. Perhaps it was the lack of a collar to cover them anymore. But, more likely, it was the anticipation that there was going to be a fight here. Not exactly what Asclepius had hoped for, but it might not be avoidable at this point. The Senshi of Medicine edged towards the corner of the fieldhouse roof, hoping to catch a glimpse of the other senshi without letting the other two out of her sight. While she would not leave the other senshi to herself if (or when) things got ugly, she was not about to jump into combat, either.
... although that did sound an awful lot like Ilmenite, didn't it.

Ilmenite made a sound, his eyes flicking onto the newcomer in an assessing sort of way, looking her over and judging briefly before he looked back to Fluorite. His shrug was fairly dismissive, shaking her off, obviously unimpressed. Two captains versus one super? He thought that they could pull it off, especially since one of them was Fluorite.
Less faith in himself, in a fight, than in the smaller girl, but -- he was scrappy. He'd hold his own, at least.
"It'd be different if, say, the other person started the fight. I mean, if someone walked up to you and hit you unprompted? I'd say fight dirty, they're asking for it at that point." The dry edge of his tone was clear: this was something like a threat. Or a warning, perhaps.
"But opening with something nasty like that? Totally out of line." He raised a hand, cocked his head, raising an eyebrow at Fluorite. Yes, that definitely sounded like Ilmenite, even down to the sarcastic mockery.

Then a senshi crashed the party.
Fluorite frowned slightly, looking sideways toward her much taller partner of the night. They certainly didn't know when not to interfere, didn't they ?
Of course not.
"That's quite funny, miss goodie mcgood, but I don't remember asking for your opinion." She shrugged. Should they teach this one a lesson in politeness ?
Her knives were still unsummoned. Better if they though her harmless until it was too late.

"That's the great thing about opinions. Often unasked, but almost always given regardless." Perseus smirked a bit. To be honest, she wasn't really looking to start a fight. She more than anything just wanted to let them know that whatever they were up to, they were being watched. And if they tried any shenanigans the sailor would be more than willing to take and extended study break to shut them down.
She studied the two Negaversers in front of her. She hadn't met either or seen any descriptions of the two in the database, but it didn't mean that she was going to think they were harmless either.
If anyone could learn about politeness, it was the purple haired stranger in front of her. Who called someone they'd just met demeaning names? It was hardly civilized. It didn't take her long to sense the other power signature in the area. Another super, fairly close by. At least she knew she had backup, and perhaps with her surprise arrival it would be a surprise arrival. "What brings the lovely couple out on such a pleasant night?"

The combatants below traded words, and Asclepius suddenly felt uncharacteristically self-conscious. Something about being up on the roof and now needing to hop down into the middle of things if she wanted to intervene seemed ... corny. She had seen all manner of movies, including some of the superhero ones as well, though they did not appeal to the girl as much as some other genres. And the whole fluttering down, into the midst of battle, maybe dropping some line in the process, seemed very stupid.
There was the short hop down to the front overhang of the field house, and then to the ground from there, on nearly the opposite side of the building from here, but the Senshi of Medicine was not willing to take her eyes off of the Negaverse, especially once the tall one came close enough for her to see for sure that it was Ilmenite.
She kind of really did not want to talk to him. And if they were not talking, they would be fighting. On the other hand, Asclepius should not let the other senshi, stranger though she was, to start this fight on her own.
With a sigh, the Senshi of Medicine leapt down from the roof, aiming to land beside Perseus, but hopefully not close enough to startle her too badly. She saved her words for after her shoes touched the pavement:
"Too stuffy a night for anyone to sleep, I guess." Asclepius glanced to the other senshi and regarded her with a nod before looking back to Ilmenite and the small girl she did not recognize.

"...couple..." He couldn't help but laugh at the idea -- and went with it, draping an arm over Fluorite's shoulders and drawing her against his side in a companionable sort of way. Couple, sure, why not. Even if the idea left him grinning helplessly...
"We're on a date, naturally." He was still beaming at Pegasus, twining a long lock of purple hair around his finger, when the other senshi joined their little group. For a moment, Ilmenite didn't recognize her. The aura was different. The outfit was different. But then, perhaps that was true of both of them...
"Oh. You!" Was it perverse that he seemed happy to see her? Or relatively happy, at least, bright-eyed and still unafraid, cuddling Fluorite in against him as if she really was his girlfriend. "Well isn't this quite a party."

...Whut.
The idea of her and Ilmenite as a couple kind of broke her brain. It wasn't that she didn't get along with him, it was just... well.
He was about as gay as a whole parade. And she was about as lesbian as half of one, perhaps, through like most teens, that area remained completely and utterly confusing.
"Now, now, honey, I told you." Don't laugh, don't laugh, don't laugh... "Not in front of the senshi !"
She still wasn't kissing him. Hopefully the two senshi wouldn't ask for... proof.

The false affection between the two was nearly palpable. She'd meant the couple insinuation as a joke, and the other two had just ran with it. Did they really think that she meant it for real? Regardless, the two of them were only setting her on edge. Though, it did get significantly better when the other senshi showed herself shortly after. They seemed somewhat familiar with one another, and she didn't know how to take that. "Enough of this ruse." She snapped lightly at them, it was all she could take to not roll her eyes at the captains in front of her.
"Now, can you just go away and power down and leave this area in peace so I can get back to my life?" Not that, you know, she hadn't come down here deliberately to get away from what she was doing. But they didn't need to know that. Hopefully it would work, but Perseus had no illusions whether it would or not. She gave a glance and a nod to the senshi beside her, glad for the backup.

Fortunately or unfortunately, Asclepius hadn't the sense of humor to join in Ilmenite's joking by tossing out some line about him cheating on her. There was just enough disgust and pity on her part that she would draw the line at simply admitting she knew him.
"Plenty of other nice places for a date that don't require such fancy dress," the Senshi of Medicine added, putting her hands on her hips and arching a brow as she eyed Ilmenite and the much tinier girl with him. "I don't think you're supposed to be so noisy on school grounds at night."
She was pleased she had not run into both of these officers alone, as well; she realized she was not actually sure just what Ilmenite could do in battle, and Asclepius was not at all sure she could hold her own in a fight against two of them. Her partner, by her aura, seemed to have been around the block as well, at least, and whatever it was the girl in the brown seifuku to do, Asclepius could only help.
Though she hoped it would not turn ugly, the brown-haired girl was not totally sure they would be able to avoid combat tonight, though.

"School grounds? s**t, honey, run before the teachers come out to scold us." It was jovial, easy, beaming down at Fluorite as he said it. The ease with which he'd settled into this ruse was more than just a little bit disturbing; he shouldn't have been able to fake affection toward her like that. Or maybe it was the cognitive dissonance, both of him being cuddly [he never was with Zink, was he?] and being with a woman.
Maybe it was just Fluorite's squirming that made him grin like that.
"Or maybe you're supposed to be the teachers?" His tone shifted as he looked back up, though, eyes settling on the senshi. His mocking was turned outward, instead of inward, chin lifted and eyebrows raised. "In those outfits? Pretty sure they violate dress code."

Awwww, no sense of humor.
Through, really, Ilmenite had perhaps been the gayest man she'd come across, and that makes acting difficult.
Nonetheless... Aw, look, they were trying to scare them off.
Cute.
"No." Was Fluorite's simple answer to Perseus. "Through, maybe you should have thought twice before accosting us if your life is so precious, sweetcakes."
She angled her head to look at her 'partner' "I think they're in need of some schooling... don't you, honey ?"
