Night tapped the table with his finger, a solitaire move was confounding him and it just wasn't working. Disgusted with the game, he swept all of his cards together of his special unlucky deck and put them away. Oddly enough, he had been waiting for two of his friends to come. For some reason, after meeting randomly in the hall, Mei-Xiu the living doll and Tybalt the Black dog had decided to meet for...Night wasn't sure.
Last time he had been with the two, at least together had been poker night. He didn't remember it all. The next time was the christmas field trip....Augh the elf. And then, There was the time that Tybalt and him talked, outside in the rain. and the doll visit with Mei. Ahhhhh, good times.
So here sat as he waited for those he considered his two best friends (even if they didn't feel the same), to come up. Ahhh He couldn't wait to see them!

Mei had indeed contacted Night to meet, and apparently, so had Tybalt..or so she thought anyway. So much crap had happened throughout the school year, she just wanted to move on and get over their differences..and how she treated Night the last time he had visited..an apology was in order. For some reason, the doll actually felt regret for treating him in such a way..it was unfortunate for the cat to have come when he did, with her in such a state. He mood was definitely not a pleasant one at the time. But if he hadn't shown up, she could very well have been in trouble. It was because of him she made it through that day, and she owed him for it.
Reaching her destination, she placed a hand on the door, pausing a moment. He body tensed, unsure of what to say once she saw him. Since he was just on the other side of the door, she didn't exactly have a lot of time to go over her thoughts. So she didn't. Pushing the door open, she scanned the room, her crimson gaze landing on a single figure propped in a chair by a table. Sucking in an unnecessary breath, she moved towards him.
"Hey, Night." Her hand instantly moved to her arm, and her gaze dropped to her feet. A little too interested in her feet at the moment, not wanting to look him in the eye. She felt awful! How the heck was she supposed to talk to him? She expected him to flip out on her, she would deserve it too and she wouldn't blame him. "I'm," she found the courage to finally look him in the eye, though fear was still written on her face. "sorry. For what happened. Last time you visited. I..I shouldn't have taken my anger out on you, it wasn't fair.."

Tybalt was the third and last to arrive. Though it wasn't really by choice. He was told to come. Something about the three of them getting together. Though he wasn't sure what for. For as long as he could remember, the three of them barely get along. In fact... He could hardly recall times where they did. If he really thought about it, the only times he could remember was that time during the rain for Night, but then again, he was only sympathizing.. a little and only a little. As for Mei... Mei... Hmm... Maybe it was because he took out the one who was shooting at her during that crazy a** paintball match. Maybe those times had strengthened their bonding a little?
....HAH! Since when?
Phasing through the door instead of opening it ( he was still extremely thrilled about having learned a new ability ), he spotted the two already talking to each other. Which made him wonder if he should wait, or just go right up to them?
....
Tybalt was never one to wait.
"Hey.. uhh guys..." He greeted a little awkwardly.

Night looked up as he saw Mei, she looked grown up, or a little more maturer. He cocked his head sadly at her as he realized that she had made it to second year before smiling brightly. "Congrats on becoming a 2nd year Mei! I bet your a terror with your FEAR now!" he joked as he got up to stand by her. If he was surprised by her apology, he didn't let it show and waited till she finished before letting his tail come around to poke her.
"That's in the past silly." he waved his hand, "Besides I know how you get without your dolls, I don't mind being the receiving end of anger after all!" He smiled again, patting her on the head. "Besides, we had a good talk." At least he thought it was.
His ears instantly perked as he looked over at Tybalt coming through the school dorms, coming right through them. "Ah you learned how to phase Tybalt!" Night smiled as he look at him but didn't jump him, though he really really really wanted to. He had missed his puppy friend. "So besides you both becoming second years..." He turned to Tybalt and grinned, "Congrats to you as well, What's up guys?" He leaned on the table playing with the deck of cards he had been earlier.

Shaking her head in response, she let her gaze cast downwards. "No. I only just got second year, so my FEAR is pretty much the way it had been before. It'll be a little while before it improves." She wasn't sure if he had made a joke out of her FEAR or not. Though, she hardly considered her FEAR to be anything terrifying. "How about you? You taking the exam soon?" She asked, lifting her gaze again.
How could he forgive her so easily? He had every right to snap at her! This was not the reaction she had expected. He was too laid back. And..did he---did he just pat her on the head? Like a small child!? Gritting her teeth, she managed to keep her cool, but pushed his hand off of her head. She didn't even appreciate her father doing that to her, let alone a boil she hardly gets along with. "I think..you need to learn what a good conversation is." Her tone was without anger, it was more..confused. Night was one student she had been able to study well. He was odd.
Flinching at the sound of Tybalt's voice, she offered a light wave, but said nothing. Nor, did she smile. Well..this was..awkward. Raising her head as Night spoke again, she looked back and forth between the two. "Uh..I was thinking-" What was she thinking? Her mind felt like it was about to explode. "We should--uh..hang out sometime. The three of us I mean. Try and put some of the crap that's happened behind us." Well, there. She said it--and she regretted as soon as she did. She had no idea how, or what their reactions would be. Especially since, Tybalt, hated cats.

"Yep." Tybalt answered absently as he watched some sort of bird creature swoop past the window. Must have been someone's minipet since some kid went chasing after it a second later. "Still skipping out on classes?" He asked turning his attention back; not accusingly. After all, he was known to do the same... a lot
"Nothing much for me. Mostly just the same old crap. Excited to see what the second year has in store for us..." His tone was flat and thick with sarcasm. He was curious to see what they were going to face this year alright. Though he was definitely not excited about it. With their luck, they were probably going to be thrown into situations far worse than what they had already experienced.
"Ehhh? Hang out? Has the mighty Mei fallen so far as to request to hang out with the lowly ghosts that are Night and Tybalt?" He asked feigning shock and trying to look as honored as he possibly could. "What an honor it is for us!" He snorted just after finishing the last bit of his line; chocking back laughter.

Night grinned, Looking at the dog. "Of course I am skipping classes." He examined his nails before chuckling, "What do I need classes for after all, I'll learn from everyone else. And our Field trips certainly teach us a lot." He joked before turning to Mei. "No Exam for me yet, I'm close but have a few more things to get done with before I can." He shrugged, his tail swaying. "I'm not too worried yet, though seeing you guys move up makes me want to too." He smiled, oddly proud of the two students.
"Not sure what Good conversation is Mei." His tail whipped again. "I hear the events we are going to do is much more....eventful." Night joked again, thinking of the festival and what they had too do already.
He was surprised at Mei's request before grinning happily. He wanted to hug her! What a great thing to ask! "I'm down for hanging out, even if you want to hang with us lowly ghost." Night's ears flattened, "I didn't think we were all that lowly Tybalt." He smiled as he came over and perched an arm on his best friend, "Till you said something. Try not to make Mei mad alright, She is being nice to us after all." Night cocked his head, giving the benefit of the doubt. Besides when had the colorful gang been together last? It had been the Christmas raid where they lead an attack on the town. Good times, Good time indeed.

Shaking her head, she decided to just shrug it all off--until Tybalt spoke. "You--" Staring at him, Mei felt a sudden urge to pound the black dog. "No..I just figured you could use all the friends you could get, mutt. But if you'd rather not, the mighty Mei, as you so put it, can just turn around and leave again." Making a motion to turn, she paused when Night spoke.
Lowly ghosts definitely suited Tybalt in Mei's mind. "HAH!" She laughed when Night spoke to Tybalt, scolding him. "Tybalt has always been this way. There is no changing him now." Folding her arms, she merely started at the two boils. "Well..the offer still stands. If your up to it anyways."

Tybalt thought carefully about Night's words before speaking. "To better prepare ourselves for the field trips? You're not going to improve you don't try and attend a little..." This was probably rich, coming from the black dog who often skipped classes himself.
But hey, he was giving advice! That was a start, right?
Tybalt shrugged at the lowly comment, pushing Night's arm off his shoulder with a grumble and then grinned ferociously at Mei when she gave them a snarky reply.
"Ahhh there! See? That's the Mei I know and love." The last part was pure sarcasm.

Night grinned at the black dogs comment before shaking his head. "Eh but some how or another I really don't think I need classes still. Better to nap and lay around."
He cocked a grin to Mei. "If we're going to be friends though, Albeit perhaps friendly rivals, we should be able to look past our faults. Seeing as we all have them." Did he hint towards Mei's explosive temper? or Tybalt's sarcasm...or even to his own aloofness? Nope he did not.
When his arms was pushed off the dog, he didn't move to put it there again. He knew that the dog didn't really like cats still so this was going to be a challenge to get him comfortable. However he just gave a cat's grin at the two before holding his hand out, materlizing two pins.
"To seal the deal? I suggest a pin exchange." Night shrugged at the thought of giving his pins away. After all its not like he gave them to just anyone...and they didn't have a real special meaning to him at the moment. "To being kinda of friends!" His tail swished excitingly.

Mei resisted the urge to smack the black dog upside the head. He was such a brat! "Fine, I agree to that." Though she didn't intend it too, her words came out in a hiss when Night mentioned to put all their faults behind them and just carry on. She could do that. She could ignore all the past crap that had happened between the three of them. She couldn't, however ignore the black dog's comments if he kept this up.
When Night suggested exchanging emblems, Mei hesitated a moment before reaching over and grabbing his hand. Placing her palm over his, she focused her fear and watched as her own emblem materialized in his hand. "I will give you mine..but you--" She turned and jabbed her finger in Tybalt's direction. "--you will have to earn it." She near snapped, keeping her brow furrowed. Maybe they could duke it out later or something. But right now--there was no way she would hand over her emblem to that mutt. Mei has given her emblem to Night

"Really? Don't need them? Then why the heck are you even attending a school?" He asked, an amused look on his face.
What other reason was there in being here, other than to learn? As much as the black dog hated attending classes, he needed them. So he would take part as long as he had to. Mind you, he would still drag his feet as much as he could. Now that he thought about it, he also had homework he needed to finish...
Damn it.
That crap was never ending and did nothing but give him headaches. Ahhh suddenly he felt like being a hypocrite and not finishing his assignment...
"Anyways, you should probably think about actually going to some of the classes." He continued. "I don't think napping is going to help you improve..." He finished with a shrug. Whether the black cat took his advice or not was up to him, he didn't really care either way.
The black dog watched curiously as Night formed the emblem in his hand.
So what? They were all buddies now or something and now they were going to trade emblems, like a promise or best friends forever? Fat chance! Why should he?
He sneered at the broken doll as she spoke.
"No problem there. No way am I giving you two my emblem. You'll have to fight me for it, or something. I don't hand it out to just anyone." Yes, the black dog was extremely stubborn when it came to making amends. In future this would probably change about him, but right now? He was still the same jerk as was when he first came here. Less jumpy now, but still an jerk.
"I don't know about you two, but I'm finding this whole friendship crap to be a little cheesy. I'm gonna' go, since I have home work and after lecturing about classes, I'll look like an a** if I don't finish it." He grumbled, pushing himself off the wall and heading towards the door, before he phased through it and walked off.

Night grinned as he felt the emblem of Mei's materialized in his hand before looking at it, it really suited the doll.
"Thanks Mei." He grinned at her and held his hand out for the one he was giving her. "I'll be sure to add it to my treasures." He smiled again before sighing, of course, Tybalt would take more time.
"Yes, Don't need them. I learn more on the field then stuck in a class." Was that the cat in him talking, or the lazy boy student. Who knew, probably a combination of it both. "I'll think of it though, as I am getting closer to get the second year...." He dreaded the day he'd have to take the exam, defenitly wouldn't be his favorite thing. ugh...Exams.
He sighed again as the black dog refused his emblem, and Mei's plus the challenge the doll threw out. His ears flicked before shrugging. "Then I'll come hit you up for a battle." He grinned, his hands disappearing behind his neck as he watched the dog stalk off before sliding his eyes over to Mei, "He's the grumpy one of us isn't he?" He joked before cocking his head at her. "Thanks again Mei, Let me know if you need anything kay? I'll do my best....since we're friends now." He nodded before following the black dog....Though he didn't phase through the door. He shifted to his small cat form and slunk into a open window, disappearing underneath.
Over all, he was pleased. Tybalt would come around, and he was glad to have Mei on his side now.
