The pale blue Putti leader had finally left the comfort of the little stream and waterfall he had found. He had been there for almost a month, enjoying the peace it offered until he felt ready to move on. During his time by the water, the only individual he had seen was Asiya, the Minicorn's leader. There had been a few birds and small animals here and there, but nothing eventfull aside from the mare. Aiolos was glad she never returned after that one visit. Not that he disliked her. He just wanted some peace from everyone for a while. Not even his Putti had sought him out. Or, if they did, they never tried too hard. The stream was a direct road one way from the area where they arrived in Kawani.
Now the stallion walked into a clearing, stopping at the top of a small hill. He looked behind him at the forest, watching a few birds fly above the tree tops. There hadn't been any danger, so far, to his small size. Maybe he was wrong in thinking predators would be larger to make up for the bigger equine sizes. That or he had picked a wonderfully spot to take a rest. That he found hard to believe. Back where he came from, there were predators who traveled around in packs. Surely there must be some here. He had just been lucky not to run into anything, yet.
Aiolos turned his head back around. A scatter of trees was before him. That was about it. The sun was warm. Not too warm for his pale coloring. He flapped the wings behind his ears.
As much as he didn't like social interactions a lot, he felt somewhat...Lonely. This was the first time since he was born that he didn't have a crowd of Putti around him. It made him miss the comfort of a herd.

Thane carried his bodily fluidly into the air. His broad wings kept him up easily, even though he was larger than most of his kind. The sun was out now, causing him to cast a strange contrast with it. His pelt, colored like midnight and stars was out of place while the sun was up. He of course took no notice. He took notice of nothing of himself. It was everything around him. He had to keep a vigilant eye. He had to watch everything, knowing good and well that was literally impossible.
Though impossible, it didn't stop him from noticing another creature below. This one struck him as odd... it was small like a colt.. but the proportions were off. Briefly it flashed in his mind that below him was another symbol of the night time. Curiosity, and with generally nothing better to do, Thane stretched his wings and angled so slightly upward that he began to descend toward a small hill top with an equally small... well, thing on it.

Aiolos was not aware of the rather large stallion coming towards him from the sky. He was rather unused to the thought of equines being in the air. Where he came from, they couldn't fly. The wings were too small. All a Putti could hope of doing was kicking up a strong breeze with their tiny wings. Not that this disappointed the leader. He was fine and dainty keeping his hooves on solid ground. The thought of being in the air made him a little queasy. He was so used to being so close to the ground, he couldn't imagine being higher than the trees. Or even a bush.
The wings behind his ears had settled back against the thickness of his mane. The second pair of wings were equally folded, suspended slightly in midair on either sides of his tail. A small rodent scurried past him, ducking into a hole in the ground with a piece of straw sticking out of its mouth. Making a nest, he supposed. Whether to start a family or just to sleep at night, he couldn't be sure without taking a look for himself. He waited a while to see if a second would run past, but nothing did. Just a bed for the night. Yes.
A mate and a place to sleep. Out of those two thoughts, the most on his mind was the second. While the first was so far back, the opposite sex was completely forgotten. When he looked at Asiya, he didn't see a mare. He just saw the leader of the Minicorns.
