Conall sighed as he drug himself through the thickness of the snow. He had lef the safty of his tribe to help a fox cross the snowy waist lands to safty. Now that he was finished with his task he was on his way back. Though since leaving his tribe the snow on the ground seemed to have incressed. It was no longer sitting at the low spot on his legs when he walked. Now with every step he felt the cold up to the middle of his leg. He sighed as he comically glared down at the cold substance.
"Well this isn't good..."
He knew that if it got any worse he would have to seek shelter some where. He then turned his attention to the far harizon and frowned. Those clouds didn't look good at all. If it was what he thought then he wouldn't be making the journy home any time soon. He glanced back in the direction he came. He had a choice. He could ether go on... or head back. if he went back he would loose all the ground he had already covered... but if he went forward he might be able to find shelter before the storm.
"Forward it is then."

The wind blew and pushed the snow off the tress and onto the black and green fox. He shivered and continued to trudge threw the snow that was up to his chest. What was this desert/forest fox doing out in a place covered with snow? Only the Deities knew what possessed the male to wander so far away from home and into freezing temperatures.
Tanis looked around and all he say was white and brown but mostly white. Sighing he figured he got lost. But how could he be lost if he didn't know where he was going in the first place? He didn't know but he had the feeling that he had wandered away from where he should have been. It was that same feeling that lead him so far from home.

Stopping for a moment Conall looked around to get a good sense of direction. With the increasing snow it was getting a little harder to tell which way he was suppose to go. Finally he closed his eyes and lowered his head. He then began to call out to his deity in hopes that Kalachakra would hear his prayers and help him through the white waists. Suddenly he felt great pull to his left. Conall smiled and muttered a prayer of thanks before he got going again.
He continued on passing naked trees and trying to avoid bushes that had been swallowed up by the snow. If he were to step on one he would just sink and become trapped. A lesson he learned all to well a few months back. Just as he avoided another another bush he could have sworn that he saw something green and black moving along the snow line. He blinked and looked closer at the strage thing moving through the snow.

Tanis was looking around in the wide area hoping to find shelter. So far he wasn't have any luck. So he trudged on his eyes scanning over white, white, black, something blue.
Wait there was something blue out here? He narrowed his gaze trying to see but with the snow it made it hard. He wasn't sure what it was so he paused to see what would happen.

"What the..." Conall looked closely at the thing moving through the snow. He looked around for a moment as if he were looking to see if someone was seeing the same thing he was. Of course since he was the only one around it really didn't matter. He blinked then moved closer. "Hey..." He called out to the thing moving through the snow. He was sure it was another fox but he just wanted to be sure. "Hello... is someone there?"

Tanis relaxed hearing the thing call out. That meant it was another fox. "Hello there." he called. Heading toward the other. "Excuse me there but where are we? Is the shelter near by I think a storm is coming." he trudged threw the snow trying to feel what the other was feeling.

"Oh!" He smiled as he watched the male fox walk up to him. He had a feeling it was a fox. He just wasn't sure until he was close enough to see who or what it was. "Hey there." He smiled as he walked over to the male. "Why your somewhere in the Himalayas mountains." He looked around. "Well um... as for shelter... there might be someplace near here." He looked back at him. "I noticed the clouds too. Come on... I'm sure there is a place we can stay for shelter."

Tanis relaxed as the other male approached. He seemed friendly enough so that was a good thing especially out here where they might need to work together. "I'm in the Himalayas?" He questioned. "I didn't know that.. wow I've wandered a long way." he mused to himself aloud. Tanis nodded and followed "Yeah its best to have shelter scoped out if those clouds continue to look like that."

"Yeah..." He nodded. "Its pretty easy to get turned around up in here." He looked around at all the snow. "Because of the snow everything looks a lot alike." He looked back at the fox. "Are you lost?" When the male had mentioned that he had wandered a long way it made Conall wonder if perhaps he was lost. "If you like I can help you navigate through the mountains." he smiled. "Of curse that is after we look for a shelter. I completely agree with you there on the clouds."

Tanis nodded in agreement "Yes the snow makes everything look unique and beautiful yet the same at the same time and has one getting easily turned around."He glanced around than said "That would be nice because I do believe your right and that I am indeed lost." He stuck out his paw for a hand shake "By the way the name is Tanis and we should get some food on our way to finding shelter just in case."

"You have no idea." Conall chuckled when he mentioned that the snow can get some one easily turned around. "It took me quite a wile to figure out the many ways in and out of this are... most ending in me lost and a few friends of mine thankfully finding me." He smiled as he reached out with his own paw. "Nice to meet you Tanis i'm Conall." After shaking paws he looked around. "Food sounds really good but..." He looked back at him. "I have to warn you... its pretty hard to find something to eat around here. Most would be roots or something along those lines but im sure we might be able to find something good to eat."

"Oh that wouldn't be good for me for none of my friends know I'm even out this far though its good to hear that your friend found you before something happened," Tanis said shaking off some snow. "I would assume everything is scarce thanks to the snow but if there is a storm we should find whatever we can and shelter so that it wont be to bad." He than stood up showing that he was ready to go.

"Yeah your telling me." He smiled. "I'm lucky to have such good friends that would come out here to find me." He chuckled. "Though now that im more fimillyer with this area i know my way around quite well." He then nodded when Tanis mentioned about food being scarce because of the snow. "Yeah it is... but if were lucky we can come across some roots or maybe a small stream that isn't frozen right now. I know there is one over this way." He motioned.

"Familiarity is key in an area for one's survival. So why are you out here in this area and your friends to?" Tanis asked in wonder. "Roots and a stream huh? We might be able to find some small rodents that should make a little good meal right?" He stood up looking at Conall expectingly since he didn't know where to go.

"Well I was just finishing up showing a fox out of this area." He turned with a smile. "Some times we get quite a few foxes that get lost in this area so I try to help them find their way back." He nodded then began to walk. "Yeah they would. I hope we can catch some. I would rather eat them then just roots and other stuff."
