There are only a few main roads in the forest and many more small trails, some made by people some by animals. If you are wise, you will not leave the main roads. These smaller paths often wind and wander aimlessly and simply end, often in a place where the last travelers journey was ended by hungry beasts. And the wilds of the forest are treacherous to travel in, not only because of the creatures that live there but also the terrian.
Exposed roots want to trip you to the ground, moss covered rocks will slip you and the rolling land will wear your limbs and the endless deep of the forest plays tricks with your mind. Plenty have simply been lost to the seemingly infinite depths of the forest.
However, there is a peace and beauty to this place. The ugliness and barren sight of the wastelands is forgotten when you see the lush world of Sulyll. So tread carefully and be on your best behavior, you never know when a Ranger is watching.

After a long day of traveling from near the border of caehoul, and sulyll, towards the City of Sol Solis in his search for those that took out his village, Ashah'Akar was tired and hungry. He had just set up camp, even though it was just a small fire pit, and had some venison from the local wildlife cooking on the fire. The smell of cooked flesh filled the air, causing his stomach to growl. It would be another thirty minutes before the meat would be ready, and to keep healthy he would need some vegetables to go along with it. To prepare for the vegetables, he pulled out a rough small metal bowl, poured some water into it from his leather canteen, and put the bowl into a bed of embers so that it may boil while he was out. After he finished that he Stood up, slung his bow over his back and trekked a little ways into the forest. He took his time picking several different species of plant, and pulling up root's, and even got lucky enough to find a small berry bush, which he promptly harvested. He tucked his ingredients into his leather pouch, and began heading back to his camp. While heading back he would take his time, and feel the life of the forest swirl around him, enjoying it while he was still here. He would miss his home dearly, and if he had the ability to, would not leave it. Ashah'Akar was not looking forward to having to travel into huge cities, where the earth is covered in stone, tree's are cut and pruned by people who 'own' them. They had no respect for what is given to them from the earth, and treat it as if they own it. They were also greedy, and rude to top it all off, at least in comparison to him and his people.
It wasn't to long before he made it back to camp. He put his pouch of ingredients down next to the fire, and turned the meat over. The bowl was bubbling nicely, so he begun to add in his vegetables, and added in the fruits last. He stood back up, after putting the small pouch back on his right hip, walked over to a nearby tree, and sat his bow down. Then reached up and plucking a small twig from a low branch, then returned to the fireside, and began to stir the small bowl of soup.
Soon after the sun had sent it's last ray over the horizon, his meal was ready. Using several leaves to protect his fingers from being burnt, he picked up the bowl and sat it next to his spot against the tree, the chunk of meet stuck onto a stick. He quickly ate his meal, tossed a few more hunks of wood onto the fire, and laid down on a soft patch of grass. It was a cool crisp night, and the stars shone brightly through the tree's massive canopy. Only half the moon was visible this night, but enough to cast shadows upon the ground. Ashah'Akar stared up into the sky for hours watching the twinkling lights, and even catching a falling star every now and again. He wondered his while in the city he would be able to enjoy the night sky as he could here. As he had heard that they have so many lights at night that it drowns out the natural light of the stars, enough that many of them were not visible. On the few times he had traveled to the city, he was never their long enough to see them at night, not that he regretted it. Right as the moon reached the middle of the sky, is when Ashah'Akar began to drift to sleep.
