The Fortress Castle of Kaeheer ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ At the Center of the Plains of Kaeheer, where the plains turn from arid to grassy, stands a tall structure. This is the Fortress Castle of Kaeheer. Restricted to all but key members of the nobility and the fortress guard, this is one of the primary lines of defense for Kaeheer.

Since his return to the castle to take up his lost friend's mantle as Prince of Kaeheer, Dekker hadn't bothered to sleep for the past three nights. He'd wandered the vast halls, exploring the castle, and meeting new people. The guard captain was always around when he needed him, as if he had an uncanny sense of when he was wanted. They often took meals together, and developed a greater friendship, based on the early one started by his original meetings with his friend, the former Prince Albryth.
He was in a library now, studying the history of rulers of this land. True, he was very intelligent, but up until the role of ruler had been thrust upon him, he hadn't paid it much thought. Now, it seemed, he would need all of his brainpower, as well as a greater knowledge of politics aside from his developed diplomatic skills, to rule.
He chuckled to himself, wondering if his friend hadn't had this planned, even if he hadn't died, perhaps he would have been made Prince...
He cursed the bandits who had killed Albryth, and so put him in this role. He could do this job, yes, but we would rather be out exploring and dispensing justice to evildoers.
He sighed as the guard captain appeared.
"I am terribly sorry, my lord Prince, but there are petitioners here, rich and powerful folks that wish to meet their new Prince.", said his old friend.
He sighed again. He didn't need this, not this soon...
"Alright, I'll do it," he finally said. As he began walking to the throne room, he decided that he would need a rest tonight... especially after dealing with these people...
