Anyone else play them? I love the anime ones, though I don't mind playing pretty, realistic ones.

I'm looking forward to Dragon Nest right now--the open BETA comes out on the 29th. 26th.

I used to play DOMO, too, but I've lost interest.

I only really play the free to play ones, because I'm a cheap b*****d when it comes down to it. I gave Champions Online a shot, and it was pretty fun I guess. For whatever reason I really like Dungeon Fighter Online.

Few years back I did play Everquest for a while. I had a lot of fun with that one as well.

Me too--I couldn't imagine playing a P2P MMO. I have better things to buy than monthly subscriptions fees.

What's Dungeon Fighter like? I think I've heard of it.

I tried Ragnarok Online once, and got to chance classes, and then found myself completely lost. I dunno if it was just me, but the game really sucked with directing you.

Never tried Ragnarok. DFO is fun. Here are my thoughts on that matter.

An arcade style MMO!? I MUST TRY
But I'd be a total nubcake, lol. Once I get started and understand how to play, I'll have to see if I'll keep it. biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin

Same here. ^_^ I've been trying to find a good F2P MMO lately, actually. I might go try Ragnarok or DFO.

I'm still waiting for DFO to fully patch, so meh.

Ragnarok, while pretty, I was totally lost for the entire thing. The NPCs you have to talk to look a lot like regular civilians... And that it's very vague with plot/quest continuation. I got a job advancement and was left in the dust... So I can't say much for later in the game

I'd say check out Dragon Nest. If you don't mind gender-specific classes, it's a definite must-try.

Click on your trainer, Pungjin for Fighters, Kiri for Gunners of both genders, Minet for Thieves, Sharan for Mages, Grandis for Priests, and GSD for Slayers. A dropdown menu will appear that will say "Talk, Trade, Skill and Quest.". Click on Skill and you'll be able to select new attacks and upgrade your current ones. At least until you run out of SP.

So that's how it works... Ok.
So, uhm, I'm guessing only special-irl cash only items change your appearance, right? A shame, but oh well, I like the Gunner's default clothing.
I love the game so far. It's so much like an arcade sidescroller.

Sometimes they have events where they give away avatar stuff, but yeah. For the most part you have to buy it with real money, and ******** that. The good part is that if someone in your party has a modified avatar, the bonus exp they gain from it is shared with the rest of the party.

Female or Male gunner? I prefer the Female Gunners myself. They're a bit faster, and less purple.

Shame. I do so love level armor suits.

Female. I love guns.

I used to play a lot F2P MMO's sweatdrop The major ones were : Dofus (I'm waiting on Wakfu now), Angel's Online (which I still love), Mabinogi (was kind of hard to get into and I don't remember my overall experience with it much), Vindictus (I loved this one but I've yet to re-install it after my comp having crashed recently), and Allods Online (my brother played this one too. He had an orc named notanorc. He used his character to troll.)

Currently I get a years worth of subscription to WoW as a Christmas present every year and I aim to get Guild Wars 2 alongside a friend of mine.

Hey guys, I decided to get another character going on Allods Online. If anybody wants to join me I’m on the Empire’s side.

Look for an Arisen named Gaelamulg (shimmering dragon) with a crab on his head. I'm on the Nezeb server and I've beaten the first 2 tutorial areas. Gaelamulg is Savant (summoner) so if anybody wants to join me I'd like to coordinate our charies beforehand. I’ll be waiting on top of the town hall stairs after 1:30. When we meet up just come up to me and say “Yo Dak” so that way I’ll know it’s a gaia friend. [/ great big huggles]
