Perhaps one of the only intact structures in all of the Wastelands is the dark and forboding fortress. Aela is tucked deep into a frozen region of mountain and snow where ice reigns supreme. But dotting the landscape, are endless mounds where frozen soldiers rest for eternity. The going is treacherous at best and deadly on average.
But if you are granted passage over the drawbridge to the fortress (most are), you will enter a shady community of mercenaries. The real question is, will you make it back across the draw bridge (not as many are so lucky). The halls of the once outpost are lined with hawkers and vagrant theives but the more deeply fortified annexs house the higher ranking members of the Assassians Guild.
This guild upholds the honor of their kind and will mercilessly hunt down their former brothers and sisters that have shamed them for renigging on contracts. Beyond that, they can always recommend a competant operative for the job if you are in need of their services.
