He'd slipped out of Lily's home, it wasn't all that hard to do. She knew he was having issues sleeping, he had been since he'd started sleeping at her home; thinking it would help his sleep issues. He'd left a note, on her bedside table, explaining that he'd gone for a walk around the neighborhood. Yes, he knew it was late out but he needed the cool night air and honestly he knew her house inside and out by now. After several nights of roaming, and years of being her friend and visiting, and it had become boring.
Tonight he'd decided to wander outside, and let his thoughts wander to where they needed to wander. He had things to think about, things most people were sure not to have to think over. He had to figure out how to keep his other self separate from the him his family and friends knew. He needed to hide it and yet do his job. But where and how was he to go about doing this job, help with the war?
Also, another important thing was obviously to meet allies. He needed to meet people like himself, who were on his side, learn the ropes. He was new, and knew it, he was clueless. Looking up at the street light as he walked, mind forming questions and pondering over the answers. He'd have to get those answers, somehow and soon. The sooner the better.
"I wonder if I can contact him...but how and where..." Would it work if he took on that other form, the one the other had given him only a few nights ago? Lost in his thoughts, over if that would work, the blond wasn't really paying attention. He knew the neighborhood was safe, and well lite by street lights. He wasn't likely to be attacked or any other such thing.

Fluorite was out of her usual hunting grounds tonight.
It was a good thing to vary it up. She didn't want to have a 'territory' where it would be easy for senshi to wait for her and potentially trap her.
This was a risky spot, but it just might yeld something, if the mostly unaware blonde down in the street was of any indication. She could grap a bit of energy remotely as he passed... Ah, no, he was too far away.
If she had to jump down anyway...
And so she did, a small thud behind him, then nothing. Fluorite was wearing no boots to give her away, and slowly she was mastering the art of moving as slow as possible.
So she grapped him from behind and dragged him into the alley.
"Don't worry." She usually didn't bother doing this, but usually her victims were drunks. "Im not gonna harm you, just a few seconds and I'll let you go..."
The orb of energy was already forming in her hand.

It seemed his opinion, and knowledge of the area, was wrong. It seemed some common people. Struggling he tried to make a sound, but the cry of shock got caught in his throat.
He could feel himself weakening but he couldn't allow himself to fall to whatever was happening to himself, he wasn't sure what it was. The first thing to come to mind was a senshi, it was why he focused as much as he could on changing.
The concentration had him closing his eyes, trying to force it. He'd never done this, aside from that afternoon. But with the energy leaving him, and doing this for the first time on his own, he was using more energy than he had. Tired, from a lack of sleep over days, and now the combination of these two things. He was lucky he managed to don his new attire.

Fluorite had never had anyone power up right under her nose before. Auras were never exact, but in this case it might as well have been - the aura emerging was enough to startle her right off him, sliding into a defensive stance.
That is... until she noticed that the aura was not a senshi aura. It was a very familiar aura, actually.
Oh.
"s**t." Damn, what a blunder to make !!! "s**t ! You alright ?"
The lieutenant would know what she was... right ? "Im sorry, I couldn't tell !" Freaking out ? Just a little.

Stumbling, as he was released from her hold, he turned around slowly. It seemed he'd been blessed, or cursed, with a paintbrush for a weapon. A weapon he brandished though he looked ready to drop to his knees.
"Not exactly. Seeing as your not attacking me your not an alien." He preferred using that term, verbally, over senshi. He didn't think people who sought to continue an old war, and try to obtain what wasn't theirs, deserved a title other then alien. Though he could surely come up with much nicer title for people such as that. He didn't think it would be proper however.
"Tired also." He'd been tired before this though. At least he'd been able to make the shift, he hadn't thought he'd be able to.

"No, im not a senshi..." Damn. He looked ready to pass out. Damnit, damnit ! This was awkward as hell. Couldn't he tell by aura alone, or had she just won the fate lottery and he was new on top of that ?
"Here..." She handed him the orb she'd just gotten. "Eat that, i'lt give you your energy back. What were you doing just wandering like this at night alone ?" There was worry in her voice, rather than the scolding most might have taken. "We can't tell when one of our own is powered down that they're part of the negaverse... Im sorry, I really didn't mean to..."
And now she was stammering. Damn.

Doing as he was told, eating the energy, he found himself feeling better but still he was worn out. "This area is safe, and I find I can't sleep well." Never mind that he hadn't been able to sleep in several days, at least not a proper solid nights worth.
"I've yet to learn all of the rules. I was only allowed to join this war a few days ago...by a rather interesting person." Oh, they were interesting. Their words and the way in which they spoke.
"I'd rather wander outside than wander my friends home and wake her, or her family." He added, it made sense why he was out here this evening. He couldn't sleep and he couldn't very well wander someones house and wake the people living within the house. It was rude, in so many ways.
It seemed she had indeed won a lottery of some sort.

...Well. She figured. But still ! And yep, she had a newbie on her hands.
"Im Captain Fluorite." She said with a nod of the head. "So how about... I go and buy you a drink and you can ask me any questions you have about all this ? I know how confusing this can be when you're just starting out."
She kind of owed it to him at this point. "I can't really go in any stores like this, but if it can come out of a vending machine i'll get it for you, alright ?"

"Benitoite." He said, with a slight smile. "A drink..." Did she mean alcoholic? Somehow he didn't like the idea, the smell of most drinks just seemed too strong in his opinion.
Nodding his head. "Water, cherry flavored?" He didn't know if she knew of any vending machines with such in it. He didn't make a habit of using vending machines, in fact he'd never used one. It was just...not something he did. He either had something with him, if he went with out. He didn't trust not getting something that was out dated.
"I have a lot of questions. Looking back on what I asked, focused on, with the person who brought me in. I should have asked more things. I focused on those were fighting, rather than what to do." He said, feeling a bit foolish in that, but he'd had a single minded focus on the idea of people wanting to takeover, and wanting to defend his own freedom.

Thankfully she hadn't meant alcoholic. Not that you could get those in vending machines !
She started walking along the sidewalk - there was no way in hell she was giving him a lesson in roof-jumping when he was this tired, through... apparently some of it was lack of sleep.
At least he didn't seem upset. Hell, had he even known what she'd just tried to do ?
"Who brought you in ?" A General ? Or General Queen Tanzanite ? Somehow, she didn't get the feeling it was the latter. "Honestly I think it's something we all do. I know I did pretty much the same thing. I was told what was going on, and I refused to just sit back and watch it happen." She looked back at him and smiled. "That passion's good. Don't lose that, Lieutenant. It's good to also know as much about senshi as you can. Overall they are very disorganized, but when they do manage to organize... The results are horrible. And deadly."

It was all lack of sleep, and the turning a few days ago hadn't helped, but that hadn't worn him out like he was. Covering a yawn he hurried his pace to keep even with her. He didn't normally drag his feet, but he was tonight. He had been the day before as well and a bit the day before that.
He wasn't upset, a mistake and one she'd corrected. He hadn't a problem with that, he understood it. he was sure he might make such a mistake in the future.
"Shorter than me, dressed like an emo though much better taste. He had a face mask on of sorts, rather pesky looking." He spoke, calmly. At least he had no such thing on his person. In fact, he liked his uniform he found it comfortable and fitting; in both the physical sense and the sense that it was perfect for his personality.
"I'd rather fight for my own personality as opposed to let someone else do it, someone who may do a lesser job than me. Not to mention it's my freedom, if I don't fight for it, then it's as good as willingly handing it over to someone else. I'm not the sort of roll over to another person." He stated, glad she found his attitude a good thing. He knew he might rub some people the wrong way. Some people really didn't like the way he spoke and his ideas/beliefs.
"You will tell me about these past cases, where they have been organized?" He asked, though it was also partially a demand for knowledge.

"Ah. General Zinkenite." It was an easy enough guess to make from his description. Short, face-mask. Hell, if he'd thought he was pesky, he just waited until he figured out what the general's weapon was...
She noticed his picking up and slowed down her own walk to allow him to better match him, and she stopped at a vending machine, pulling some coins tucked into her sash. "There... Ah !" Cherry-flavored water, just what he'd ordered. The bottle came tumbling down, and it was handed over to him.
Then another coin went in, and she went for the grape flavored water.
Oh, she liked this one already. He had spirit, he had conviction. "That's right... if we don't fight for ourselves, then who will ?"
They were badly outnumbered enough at first.
She took off again, keeping her slow pace, toward a nearby park. Remote enough that a passerby will overlook them. "The Blood Moon Count." She said. "Are the most dangerous, the most bloodthirsty. They've kidnapped some of our own before. Only three came out alive, through they'd been tortured for weeks. The other threes... Weren't that lucky."
She sat on the bench, then, and waited for him to join her. "They are vicious, they are bloodthirsty, and they will stop at nothing. The senshi will try to trick you, pretend to be saviors, but this is the truth of what they are. I've seen it with my own eyes. In subspace there is a list of the known blood moon senshi - I will do my best to get that for you, or im sure General Zinkenite will be more than happy to tell you. He runs the information team."
She stopped, and took a drink of her water bottle. "My point is, you need to be extremely careful. Even if it's not a blood moon senshi... There's no telling what they're capable of."

"I didn't ask for a name." He'd doubted he'd get it anyway. Deciding that walking around holding a paint brush, as he was, made him look rather foolish he stuck it in a back pocket he seemed to have.
Nodding his head, while he opened his water. "Someone else, of course, but I'd rather not trust them like I would myself." He stated, sipping from the bottle. One of his favorite drinks, though nothing beat Espresso with pomegranate syrup, or cherry. Both syrups was heavenly though.
"Thank you." For the drink, as he gave a small upward jerk of the bottle to indicate what he was thanking her for.
Listening to her he nodded his head slowly, somehow feeling sorry for a loss of people he hadn't known. People he hadn't been team mates with then, but in a way was now. At least he was aware to what length some of these senshi were willing to go, and just how bad they were.
"No respect for the laws of war, torture and such being against the Geneva Convention." Shaking his head, that air of confidence and superiority tainting his words. He was sure he was better than such people. "Dishonorable, and uncaring of laws and the like." Did these....people, and he used the term very lightly, not care that they were killing and torturing normal people? People who were born here and belonged? As it sure sounded like they didn't as he'd heard them referred to as aliens and had done so himself now. Somehow he doubted it.
"If what Zinkenite told me didn't convince me enough than your words have. Their actions are unjust, they do not belong and must be repelled." From the Earth. If they wanted to indeed take over, and were willing to do such things. He was on the right side, he was sure of that.
"I'll need a way to contact him...and I'll ask for the list. It's best if I'm careful, being new and such." The such being that his weapon wasn't all that good for fighting, unless he got in close and attempted to stab you with the pointed end.

Spirit, conviction, AND smart. Yes, this one had definitively been a very good choice. It was only a matter of continuing what General Zinkenite had started before her.
She didn't expect it to be that hard.
"We may kill, but none of us have ever scooped low enough to use torture before." And hopefully none of them would. "I don't think they care for much of anything, beside getting our planet as their own at all cost. What does Earth laws have to hold for them ?" Her tone was mocking. "There is no honor in defeating someone kept to the brink of death so that they cannot defend themselves, cannot teleport themselves to safety..."
She saw no reason to get into details. Benitoite already had an hard enough time sleeping. "That shouldn't be too hard. He has a way to be found when needed." It was hard to explain her superior, even for her.
"Senshi come into three... states." Perhaps not the best wording. "They have auras, much like us. Normal senshi are the lowest powered. You can probably take a normal senshi on in spite of your weapon, their magics are usually rather weak. If things look bleak through... Run. There is no shame in it."
"Super senshi are a little stronger, and one can probably overpower you. Eternal senshi are easily recognizable. They all have some ridiculous... white wings on their asses." It was hard to say that with a straight face. "If an eternal is around, run." She'd been pleasant so far, but this one sentence hadn't been a subjection.
That had been an order.
"Then there are pages. They're not senshi, but they fight with them. They feel different and wield weapons much like we do, even, but you shouldn't mistake them for one of us. Again, use your sense of auras rather than your eyes. I don't know much about them... I can't find one of the damn bastards to fight, through Captain Painite might be able to tell you more of them..."

He had to be smart, his mother was a lawyer and had a lot of rich clients. He got stuck going to all kinds of events, and from time to time was dragged into all sorts of conversations. Mostly he was ignored, or approached with questions about how he was doing in school. Regardless though he did hear enough of the conversations going on.
"I would hope not, something that low and not to mention inhumane and illegal." As well as generally frowned upon. It would not do well, it would also make them look like the bad guys. And looking the same as the ones who were the true villains, that simply wasn't good at all.
"No, I quite agree. It's beating a dead horse, just as pointless and honor-less. If they think themselves honorable then perhaps they should do something honor worthy." He stated. That normal arrogance and confidence coming to the front. "It's rather hypocritical of them to think themselves in the right and yet to commit such atrocities." Shaking his head he took a long sip from the bottle he held. So good, it was nice and cold and even though it wasn't a brand he'd had before it was good.
From what he could gather it sounded like these people wanted to take over a planet, not follow it's laws, and likely in the end set there own laws that they could break and adjust to suit themselves. The idea bothered him, terribly so.
Setting himself to listening to her descriptions he nodded. At least he'd be able to fight the newer ones, hopefully he'd win. He didn't fancy the idea of loosing to such people. Butt wings, that sentence caught him, he actually almost laughed over it. He barley held back from laughing. That sentence alone gave him such mental images, but her order broke him away from those mental images.
Normally he wasn't one to bow down to someone else, but he understood the order and the need to follow it and concede to her rank and more importantly the knowledge she had which he did not. "Of course, no plucking the little birds. I can only attack the featherless ones." He stated, smirking lightly. He'd already compared senshi to Harry Potter, and thought of marketing tin foils hats. Why not birds now?
"I'll keep that all in mind." And he'd use his sense of auras, as opposed to his eyes. It wouldn't be good to go and make a mistake when confronted by a senshi or a Page. "I'll have to locate her and ask. I'd like to know everything I can, so I can do my best." Drawing his legs up to himself, he had earlier noted he was taller than the Captain, like the General also. It was odd being taller than people who had to be around his age. he didn't mention it though, even as he rested his chin on his knees.
"What do I do if I'm unable to run, if I'm cut off from escape?" It was a likely scenario, and he was thinking properly enough to realize it could indeed happen.
