So, I have strong feelings for my bestfriend, but she's dating a dude right now. I don't know what to do, I feel hurt. It hurts really bad to see them together. Before they got together, I wrote her a letter about how much I truly liked her and we talked about it, but it was confusing. She said she likes me too, but then she doesn't really show it all that much. Then like a couple weeks later she tells me that she like 2 other people. And one of them was the boy she's dating now. So I'm really confused about everything right now. Truth is, I really love her and I've NEVER felt this way about anyone. I know we're still really young, but I don't care. We have only one life. ...so yea, I have no clue what to do. What should I do?
I've been in this situation before! All you have to do is pretend you don't want her... but try to flatter her now and then.
Ever play harvest moon? ur lil character has to give presents to the available people and build up their hearts and stuff?.... well...
Instead of gifts (or maybe once in a while, gifts are okay) offer to spend a TON of time with her. Mall, goin' to a movie... salon or whatever you both like to do.. and just spend time. Make a lot of eye contact and when the moment is right... express again... softly.
"I really, really like you... and I really think that if maybe we could try dating... you'd see a side of me that really should be seen. And if it doesn't work out, we can always be friends."
That may just work.
