With exams over, at least for the djinn, and the promise of a break from classes and the academy itself, there was nothing left for the ghoul to fret over save the packing she was putting off til the last possible moment, the beastly little nerglette she'd acquired from Sharra making the prospect a dreaded affair, and the influx of new power awarded for the progression from Snot to Knob had an interesting learning curve. To say the ghoul was not used to the development would be a gross understatement. She had, upon first realizing her abilities were expanding, managed to flood her own dorm with a wild gesture of frustration at her new and energetic little pet.

Wishing to gain a little more control the ghoul had set aside an afternoon for practice and relaxation, the latter perhaps harder to come by with the decision to bring along her dear little Devika. Clearly the kit was plagued with copious amounts of energy, and a day outside her dorm might help to expel a fraction of it.

So nerkitten collared and leashed, the ghoul pulled her door closed behind her and set off down the halls towards the front doors. Aiming to walk the familiar trail near the swamp before seeking out a quiet corner of the campus to practice her natural abilities. Devi straining forward in a bid to pull the ghoul along faster, and having about as much luck with it as a she would a boulder. Hadiyya would not be hurried, and certainly not for an impatient youngling.

As they hit the lush lawns outside the dorms the little beasty had calmed some, and was happy to trot along at the ghoul's ankles rather then dart along at the end of her lead.

With no one to show her around, she was off on her own discovering what could have been easily shown to her. She had not been a student for very long at all. Still exploring the campus, Bea had once again gotten herself lost. Still getting used to the new environment, she finds herself outside of the demon's dorms.

As she walked around looking every which way to get a baring of her new surrounding, she seemed distracted. Deep in thought, actually. Then the demon dorm doors opened up. A decently sized nerkitten and its owner had come walking through. Bea immediately looked at the nerkitten, bright eyed and excited. She noticed its owner was a ghoul, dark hair and fairly dark skin with tattoos embellishing her body. She was just as beautiful as her adorable nerkitten.

"What a lovely pet you have!" She waved to the ghoul. As Bea approaching the ghoul her hair began to float behind her, giving an illusion she was underwater. "I couldn't help but notice how beautiful your nerkitten is!" Bea absolutely LOVED little creatures. Besides baking, minipets are most likely her next favorite thing.

A voice pulled the demon's attention from the path beyond the lawns, and she slowed to a stop as another ghoul approached, cooing compliments towards the spindly little imp at her feet. "Oh, well thank you." It was surprising really that the other knew what the little beasty was, but theirs was a wide world and she had to imagine there were others like Devi and her twin out there. Surely there was more that knew about them then just she and Sharra. It was silly, she realized, to assume otherwise, though that's exactly what she'd done.

"She's pretty yes, but quite the handful." Evident by the way the hatchling had wound it's leash about hadiyya's ankles before straining at the end of it to get to the pale ghoul that had approached them. Always keen to greet any new face.

With a tilt of her head the djinn gave the other ghoul a proper look over, recognition clicking after a moment. "You're Beatrix," she pointed out confidently, stepping free of the leash to Devika could make a run towards the ghost's ankles. "You're running for public relations, I stopped at your booth very briefly the other day."

"Ah~! Yes, I'm Beatrix," she said smiling at the minipet while she rubbed her ears, "I remember you did! Thank you for stopping by, by the way. I was worried no one would be interested in looking around my booth." Bea got up on her feet again and giggled at the kit at her ankles. Though this dark skinned ghoul didn't stay long at her booth, Bea really did in fact appreciated her visit. She stretched out a hand at the ghoul, "I don't believe I caught your name, however."

She looked down at the nerkitten again, and adored it for a moment before turning back to her owner. "Though I am running for Public Relations, I am a very new student, which I'm sure you already noticed..." She tilted her head a bit in thought.

"Mmmmm... I do have a question, if you don't mind? I know this might seem a bit random, but I was wondering what clubs do you recommend joining? I've been struggling a bit to find certain clubs or know which ones exist..." Bea gave a nervous laugh.

"It was my pleasure, I liked your booth best of them all if I'm honest." It was aquatic and fabulous and Hadiyya had thoroughly enjoyed everything about the ghost's booth and creative little obstacle course. Really she'd have lingered there longer, but she'd had other matters to attend. Bea's was the only booth Yaya had actually had a chance to visit, so for that the other ghoul should feel special, though the djinn didn't voice this. "I'm Hadiyya," she offered when prompted, offering a dark hand covered in even darker designs. "Everyone calls me Yaya though."

"I wish you luck in the elections." She wasn't sure how well she'd do, being new, but she'd certainly made a good effort at running. "Even if you're aren't elected I think you've done a nice job of getting your name and face out there. You're sure to make a lot of friends." With that pretty face and sweet personality, it was a surety.

The subject of clubs was a little random, but the djinn didn't mind in the least. "We have a great many to chose from here. I myself am vice captain of two. N.A.P. Club and Amity's own swim team." She gave Devika's leash a little tug as the impish creature circled Bea's ankles. Pulling her back to her own side so the ghost wouldn't be tripped up when she moved. "I could list more if tell me what sorts your might be interested in joining."

“Nice to meet you again, Yaya.” Bea chirped, “Oh, thank you! Yes, I do believe I made a good first impression when I came to school. The elections weren’t about winning, we both know that.” she let out a giggle and looked down at the minipet again. When Yaya said she was pretty and sweet, Bea’s face blushed a bit and turned back up to give her a smile.

“Ohhh, swim team? That sounds interesting! I’m not a very athletic person, however I do enjoy water. Actually… my room is full with it! I find a watery environment very… relaxing.”
N.A.P. club. If it was like the name, Bea is too much of a busy body to actually take the time to lay down and rest. Perhaps swim club might be more suiting for her.

The djinn smiled all the brighter at Bea's blush, and she ducked her chin in a soft sign of acknowledgement. The ghost was tied to water, so Hadiyya instantly liked her, but she really did seem a sweetheart, and the ghoul did hope they could become friends. There were so many new students about, it was starting to get difficult keeping track of everyone. Things were changing from when the demon ghoul had first arrived, that was for sure.

As the subject was allowed to shift towards the swim team, dark features lit up a bit. As co-captain of the club Yaya had taken a special interest in getting their name out there among anyone that might like to join. "A love of the water is all you need to try out, we'd love to see you stop by the gym."

"I find water very relaxing as well, but I'm a little too used to the environment I grew up in to dwell so exclusively in my kindred element. Marids dwell in the desert. Near oasis, or coastal areas." There was a soft flicker of homesickness in glowing blues, but she shrugged it off seconds later. She hadn't been home in a very long time, and she was beginning to miss the heat and the sand. Not to mention her folks.
