"Mamaaa! Why are jou making zhese zhings?!" Chailai squealed in protest as her mother worked on frosting cupcakes. Since growing, the little girl hadn't been out much, and had certainly... well, changed from her toddler self. Less shy and a bit more self-assured, the little girl was positively addicted to the polaroid camera that Trois had gotten her shortly before she'd grown. Currently, however, her focus was on an event that she had been extremely excited for since she had known it was possible; a sleepover. Moreover, a sleepover with her prince and her knight both.

"Le chaton, 'ow many times must I tell jou? Ozher people need to eat to survive, dearest. It is common practice to prepare sweets for get-togezhers and ozher events," the naga explained again, ruffling his daughter's recently-cut hair. Pouting gently at the fact that this wasn't something she could argue, the little kitten hopped down off the stool that stood in her family's kitchenette. It was obvious how impatient the little abstinence spawn was, and impatience didn't compliment her well. It was already apparent that the little girl stressed more than a little girl should, as she paced about the house, trying to find something to occupy her time before her friends arrived.

The house that she and her family lived in was an interesting one, to say the least. A two-story duplex, and they lived in the bottom of it, the front door residing in the back yard. It was a bit difficult to find, but Trois had directed both of the children's parents and Chailai had drawn arrows on the concrete in chalk earlier that day. Tail flicking around behind her, the impatient little girl scurried back outside, snapping pictures of the world around her and trying to will her friends to appear sooner rather than later.

Keal had complete trust in the fact that Boian would behave and be nothing less than a gentleman at an all girl slumber party but he could not help but feel a bit sorry for his son. Boian wanted to be a man that woman could fall for and feel protected around and yet he was going to a girl's slumber party. He feared that at least with Chailai, though she thought Boian was her prince charming, she might grow to think of him more as one of the girls. Like the gay friend who would play boyfriend when they needed it and yet still go shopping with and chase men with them. He did not think that any of the books Chailai might have read had anything other than fairy tale princes and princesses. Nothing about arrange marriages, what happened after the happily ever after, the often common enough lover on the side. But Boian was excited to get to sleep with two girls and Keal was not one to ruin anyone's happiness. "Are you sure you should be trusting those arrows?" He teased his son as they grew closer to the other greed spawn's house. He knew the way but it was worth it to see a bit of confusion on Boian's soft face.

Boian did look a bit confused for a moment but then he smiled, "It is like a treasure map leading me to the damsel at that is trapped and waiting for her rescue!" he said and giggled. his tail tupped against a backpack and sleeping bag carried on the child's back. "I know it is her showing me the way." he smiled then gave keal a smile that the wolf was sure he had learned from one of the uncles, "Besides it is not every day I get to sleep with two princesses at once."

Keal rolled his eyes, "You are sleeping in the bag on the floor. The two ladies can share a bed if they don't sleep in their own sleeping bags but you will sleep on the floor in your bag...alone no girls allowed!" he said in a don't test me tone. He knew that Boian was too young to think about the same thing adults might when sharing a bed but still he did not know what the other halfs of the two young girl's genes were. One could be a lust and try to teach Boian a thing or two.

Boian nods, "Okay okay...in the bag on the floor. What if we make a fort?" The look form Keal made his ears lowered but he laughed,"Okay okay still in the bag no one else."

They couldn't have gotten to the place sooner, as Sterre was just about ready to yank her hair out with the amount of excitement her charge was exhibiting that day. She didn't know how many times Xanthe had asked her when they could leave. Sterre hadn't wanted to arrive before the host was ready to have them over, despite the fact that she wasn't quite the polite type. However, she also had the excuse at her disposal that she really didn't want to meet any other guardians; she couldn't get back to her work soon enough, either. Xanthe, however, wasn't adept at packing for herself, tempted to toss anything entertaining into her bag instead of the bare essentials. It wouldn't do to have a sleepover and yet not have any changes of clothes! Honestly, children...

Once they were out of the car, Sterre pulled out the instructions she had written down when she had spoken to Trois. She hoped that she didn't drive to a completely different location; accents could be hard to understand at times, and Trois' was rather... strong, to say the least. "It looks like the right kind of area, at least," she murmured to herself as she took a glance around. He had said a duplex, right? She would have been in trouble if all she saw were the cookie-cutter one-stories...

"It's over there!" Xanthe piped up, immediately spotting the colorful arrows on the walkway. She giggled at Chailai's creativity as she readjusted her hat, bouncing over to where she was directed. Her feet touched the arrows as though they were the boxes of a hopscotch game.

Good, good, then Sterre was able to follow the directions to a T. That was a load off her shoulders. It looked like the description, and upon seeing another adult-child duo closing in on the building, the prospect was solidified. There was suppose to be a couple of kids at the sleepover, wasn't there? Before they got too close, Sterre stopped the eager child with a sharp, "Hey!" Xanthe turned around, unmoving yet grinning. "You're going to be on your best behavior, now, aren't you?" she asked, her look stern and unwavering.

Xanthe flicked her duster of a tail, grin only getting wider, "But of course!" After all, she not only got to play with the person she was determined to protect, but a friend of her's that she hadn't yet met. It was exciting! "C'mooooon, Ma, or we're gonna be late!" she called over before continuing along on her own. She walked at a slower pace now, however, as she spotted Keal and Boian ahead on the trail. Although she wanted to meet them, she figured it wouldn't do to talk to them just yet. They were going to meet a princess, after all. Wasn't she suppose to introduce her guests to one another first? She didn't want to be rude!

Sterre seemed to have other plans, it seemed. She hadn't slowed in stride and quickly caught up with her daughter, and then the pair ahead of them. "Here for the sleepover as well, correct?" she asked Keal and Boian, going for the full hundred-percent assurance on the matter. Who knew if there wasn't just another child in the area, in a similar living arrangement, that liked to doodle on the pavement? Xanthe whimpered a quiet whine at the action, ears pulled back as she tried to hide from view. She wanted to be polite! Jeez... mothers...
