Homemade Cherry Pop Nail polish
I love love love the cherry tint clear coat. BUT it's always over priced. And hard to find just the right 1 for you.
Well I was on the interwebs and a nice young Netizen made a comment in the review section for a bottle of cherry pop clear tint. I was eyeing until
She wrote that the cherry tint did not really make anything cherry even after several coat. "Bummer been there"
She went on to say something else that blew my mind. It's so simple so obvious so....forbidden...."sizzle"
Mix a little bit of the color you want in to a bottle of clear polish. Mix well and Tada! Your very own bottle of Cherry Pop or what ever color you want. You could mix in green or blue or another color who knows go CRAZY !!!! Ahhh I feel so alive!....ok I'm calm now. whee
QUICK TIP: Just dip your dark color into the clear a few times till it has the amount of tint you want.
I mixed Fuuchsia Flash and some clear and the results are exactly what I wanted. And even better because the color matches my skin already so it is the right tone of cherry. You know girl!

Lol Vita! Great idea! I actually kinda knew this because once upon a time, my sister and I used to try and mix our own shades of polish though we never really bothered with mixing around the clears since we didn't like tints. We stopped after a while because it was very messy, wasteful (spills and quick dry polishes), and we more often than not got sucky results.
My sister and I used to do a lot of nail art, maybe I should post up some tutorials.

Yes post some stuff! I did not make any mess at all I just took the dark color and dipped it in the clear and then back in the color. And just kind of let it drip into the bottle. I also used a small bottle of clear lol. xena91388 Lol Vita! Great idea! The girl said she did it with a pink. Maybe try a shade of pink you like if you have one. But it might make your polish you don't like wonderful! booboo_gump i dont like the reds i have right now but i will try it
