Jugnu fell in step beside the male that she had spent the better part of the afternoon with already. She was beginning to feel something stir inside of her. She was confused as the female had never gave two thoughts about a male before. However now it was like something was different now, causing her to think about the possibilities. She knew now from talking to him that she needed to start considering these things, she needed to have offspring and soon.
Suddenly though Jugnu found herself without anything to say, something strange for the lioness. Instead she walked quietly beside him her head deep in her thoughts. She thought a lot about the male that was here with her, he seemed kind, and his pelt was light, he had been in the lands a long time, it was hard for her to imagine a better sire... a better mate even if she was so bold to take one on... mates were something that a female took on here in the pride to often however if she had found a good male she didn't see a reason to find others to sire her cubs, though of course she would have to wait and see what the cubs turned out like, Jugnu hoped that she had done a good job pleasing the gods, perhaps her female cubs would be blessed with the sight that she missed dearly. Then again perhaps she was getting way ahead of herself.

Joto was more than pleased that Jugnu had decided to tag along with him. He wasn't even sure if his 'offer' would be taken, considering the way he had presented it. But hey, everything had worked out for him so far so there was no need to question his method currently. Something that was definitely bothering him though was the silence. Jugnu had not said a word since she followed after him. It was mildly irritating, but not on her part, on his. He wondered if he intimidated her.
"You're very quiet right now, Jugnu. Have I made you give things some thought?" He asked, hoping to spark some more conversation out of her.
Speak woman, he thought to himself. He was not used to silence after something so pleasant. Usually he garnered silence when he was being cruel, rude or mean. After having such a delightful conversation and getting silence was a tad disheartening. Of course, he was probably over thinking the situation.

Jugnu turned when Joto spoke she felt bad that she had gotten lost herself in her thoughts, Joto had been so polite to invite her on a kind stroll and her she was not even talkng to him. She laughed at her self a kind soft chuckle, "I suppose you could say you did." she told him a smile moving across her lips.
"The more I think about it the more I realize I have probably waited far to long to have cubs, and I really shouldn't wait to longer, and while I .." she trailed off embaressed this wasn't like her to be so forward, but then again why shouldn't she be. She turned slightly looking at Joto, "I feel that perhaps you would be a good sire." she said it was blunt but honest.

Joto felt it silly for Jugnu to think she waited too long to have cubs. Ideally, yes, she should have had a litter or two by now, but he wasn't one to judge a woman's discrepancies when it came to mating. For a male to mate was one thing. He could spread his seed across the winds without care or consequence half the time, but for a female, especially one from this pride, indiscriminately mating wasn't always the best option in his mind.
Joto always felt care should be had in what bloodlines were brought into the pride. He wasn't against bringing in new blood, per say, but he definitely felt that it needed regulated. Dark coats, ill or weak partners, those sort of things were detrimental the the stability of the pride and to the sentiments of the old ways.
Having gotten lost in his own train of thoughts, Joto was certainly caught off guard when Jugnu stated quite firmly that she felt he would be a good sire for her.
Joto stiffed a chuckle by clearing his throat. He did not mean to be rude to Jugnu or laugh at her brute honesty. but he had not sired children in some time. The idea that someone saw him as a candidate within the pride was a bit amusing to him.
"I would be lying if I said I was not a good choice of a sire," He said, a small narcissistic tone to his voice, "The daughters of my late mate are the pride's Kabaila'umbikezeli, and I myself a Ikhansela for our pride, but would you not rather someone younger than myself? I'm no spring rabbit."
If she persisted, he wouldn't deny her what she sought. He missed a females physical companionship far too much to be stupid enough to refuse her; however, it wouldn't stop him from questioning her. After all, his words were true. He was no spring rabbit and at times was as grumpy as his age suggested. Most younger lionesses simply could not handle such moods.

Jugnu smiled at Joto's words she knew that he wasn't trying to be rude or blow her off his concerns were sincere. "Joto my friend I am aware of your family linage, and the title you hold within the pride. I know well that you have produced offspring with beautiful coats and with site that have been truly been blessed by the gods. Your age is of no concern to me, as long as you can still produce offspring." She told him with a smile.
The more time Jugnu spent with Joto the more she realized she enjoyed his company, she had never been able to be as bluntly honest with someone as ash was now with Joto. She did not fear him lashing out at her brutal honesty in terms of siring... there really was something to be said about a more mature male. "I myself would say you likely have many siring years left in you yet." she told him a flirtatious smile spreading across her lips. She had already figured that she wanted Joto as a sire but she was fairly sure that she wanted him as a mate as well... it wasn't traditional in the pride to take a necessarily take on a permanent mate but well Jugnu wasn't always one to follow tradition. She didn't know how Joto would feel about it though and she wasn't as confident to bring this up as she was the want for him to sire her cubs.
