Setting:Normal TGC Arena-spectators seated and shields in place, open arena. Rules: Way of the Warrior Ruleset-Basics+Armor Restricted+Outside Equipment Banned. Any summoned effects will be blunted. Leaving the arena will result in being forcibly returned. After 5 posts (total) the arena shall change randomly, and with it will come random effects. ~ ~~ ~~~ ~~~~ ~~~~~FIGHT! Golden silk threads dance to the winds reflect the light as if the man wearing it was giving off a fair deal of superfluous light himself. Shimmering about his form were in fact several glowing items that seemed to hug his form. About his head a light blue sheen can be seen, a material of some sort of clear crystal with a faceted appearance, sending tendrils of light blue down through his skin. A pair of heavy boots wrap around his feet with cerulean bands gripping his calves and reinforcing the toes of the boots. A cord of blue flame wraps around his waist, the ends danging down by his legs, the flames feeding upon the heat in the air as they dance with a will of their own. As Shar waits he leans against a quarterstaff of contained white light tht has a rather large ball of spikes on one end, which is planted into the ground allowing him to lean against it. He seems to converse without words to a flitting blue orb that encricles him, never stopping for a moment as it dances about his body. He lets out a sigh as he runs a hand through the violet strands of hair that contrast with his emerald eyes, a window to his soul shadowed with envy. ((I changed one)) Soulmelds and Soulbinds 5 Soulmelds Available. 3 Soulbinds Available. 10 Essentia remaining. Feet Power Center: Thunderstep Boots-BoundWhen Shar charges an opponent these boots unleash a terrible sonic attack, focusing oppon the opponent he is charging. Expending a point of Essentia greatly enhances the effect. When bound damage dealt stuns the opponent like a magnificent thunderclap. Crown Power Center: Crystal Helm-BoundThis helm is formed from the soul, pure light in a pale blue form that enhances the mind and extends the body. This soulmeld enhances the mental fortitude of the wearer and refracts his form, letting him deflect attacks easier. Shar can use a point of Essentia to force himself out of the way of an attack or to nullify an attempt to manipulate his mind, if he is aware. When bound this Soulmeld gives Shar the ability to harm incoporeal foes and those otherwise immune to physical damage. Waist Power Center: Flame Cincture:This soulmeld gives a resistance to flame, and expending an Essentia point can increase this resistance to an immunity to all heat based effects for 3 posts. When bound this Soulmeld allows Shar to unleash flame taken in to create a blast to harm opponents, expending an Essentia point doubles the effect. Arm Power Center: Longmace-BoundThis is a fearsome weapon. In the hands of Shar`Addan this weapon seems to be a normal quarterstaff with a large spiked ball on one end, making it actually a very large morningstar. When he strikes with this weapon he can use an Essentia point to create a shockwave. When bound he can use an Essentia point to use the special ability, causing all the spiks to fly off and attack the opponent like twenty magically guided daggers. Soul Power Center: Soulspark Familiar VariantThis...is Torment. This Soulmeld has no purpose in combat, but it cannot be unshaped. Binding is possible for Torment, but not for Shar. Neither Brother can have their souls drained while this Soulmeld is shaped, and they can give off light (blue or red/green) depending on wich one is flesh and which is a Soulmeld. Torment helps maintain concentration and dispel distractions, allowing Shar to focus on his opponent. Other Active Abilities Aside from the passive abilities mentioned for Torment that might apply, Shar`Addan has the following effects active: Incarnum Defense:Shar can switch between four modes, in which his eyes glow momentarily a different color. -Gold: Fear Immunity and Pain Resistance enhanced -Green: Paralysis Immunity- Active. -Crimson: Immune to Complete Exhaustion. -Black: Immunity to effects that weaken him Strength wise. Share Incarnum Defense: Three times per day Shar may extend the current effect to another for 5 posts. Must be delivered by touch, and only one ally at a time. Smite Opposition:Five times per day Shar can channel the incarnum within him to deliver a devestating blow that can knock any bipedal foe down. If he misses, the use is wasted.

The Nova Knight as some have come to know him as decended from the heavens above. Using the power of his chi to enable the skill of flight the armored warrior looked like a flaming comet as he descended rapidly towards the arena. As he decended quickly the Knights flaming eyes focused upon the warrior who was just standing there in the arena.
So he is my opponent... thought the Knight glumly as the ground moved quickly to meet him. Just in the last moments the Knights chi exploded in power stopping his downward momentum. Dust from the arena shot up from the ground under the force of his power, momentarily shielding his shining form.
As the dust cleared the Knight stood there with his arms crossed, his plain red martial arts outfit billowed softly under the force of his power. The Knights flaming red eyes focused once again on the warrior with the quarter staff and instantly his hyper senses told him that this man was someone who he should be wary off. As he uncrossed his arms his bandage fists moved in opposite directions, one to his side and one that moved to point at his opponent. "You are my opponent today...I am Lord Rasarai, Nova Knight and Ruler of the Fortress." The Knight always introduced himself, it was just nice to do so.
As his white martial arts shoes crushed the excess dirt on the arena under them the Knights white cross gleamed slightly as his outstretched hand closed to a clenching fist. Assuming a defensive Tai-Chi stance the Knight moved his hands palms up level to his shoulders as his black boots moved to the same distance away from his body was as his wrists. The Knight bent on his left giving him the illusion he was leaning against it, though his center of gravity was on his right foot. Smiling softly the Knight said, "Its up to you whether you want to tell me your name, I look forward to this fight." All the while the Knights flaming aura danced along his muscled body, to give the impression the Knight was ready for combat.

((*beats you upside the head and erases mention of armor from your post with his mind* I gave armor restrictions for a reason, Shar won't summon his weightless armor that puts five inches of adamantine to shame and Rasarai gets no armor. >.> >.<``` Cause I swear, between us the armor would be enough to stop a rail gun.))
Shar smirked as he remained leaning against the massive weapon, his emerald eyes hidden from view as he really didn't seem to care about his opponent that stood far off to his right side. After the Lord had said his fill he smirked, his voice commanding and without hesitation, "Your titles and privilages mean nothing to me, I am the Prince of the Deserts, Brother of Soul to The Azure Phoenix." He gestured to the flitting orb that danced about him, "Beyond his fancy meaningless title he is known as Torment Nusradai. You may call me Shar`Addan, or simply Shar if you must."
He glanced to him, the piercing gaze of emerald enough to unnerve the masses and catch the eye of even the strongest of mental constitutions. It was as if his eyes were consumed by a verdant scourge, almost glowing in their envy, "Your status means nothing. If you feel ready, come at me." Tor flitted about him, observing Rasarai and shunting out distractions, tacit words of wisdom floating between the two Brothers.

Rasarai's eyes twitched slightly at the mans arrogance and rudeness, but throughout that barrage of words the Knight only focused on one name.
Torment... thought the Knight glumly as he shifted his stance to that of an offensive boxer. As his body moved into position the Knight began to remember his encounter with the being in the U.F.G. Well it wasn't much of an encounter but it was still something that impressed him. As he finished his stance change the Knight shouted, "You are Torments brother...I would expect no less from the likes of you." Moving his right foot forward and summoning his raging power the Knight roared, "Lets go!"
With blinding speed the Knight catapulted towards Shar, his muscled form danced through the air as his martial arts outfit ruffled violently from the passing wind. His red eyes focused squarely upon the warrior. As his body lifted itself off the ground with the distance of 3 feet the Knight was quickly closing in on his opponent. As his aura burned brightly around his body the Knight quickly moved his right hand and pointed it in front of him, moments later a powerful fireball rocketed from his hand.
As the blazing attack left his right hand the Knight focused hard on his chi and quickly shifted his trajectory, using the rage and adrenalin burning through his veins the Knight forced his chi to explode to his left, causing him to catapult to his right and towards the ground. Moving at the a high speed the Knight knew that his movement would be hard to follow. As Rasarai moved away from his original position the fireball he launched at Shar was quickly closing in.
As Rasarai moved towards the ground the warrior smiled slightly as his right hand clenched tightly blazing slightly with power. At that same instant the fireball moving towards shar exploded violently, sending 3 separate fireballs in different directions. Out of the shining explosion that could temporarily blind Shar one headed directly for the warrior while the other 2 headed straight for the ground surrounding him. The purpose of this attack was to smother the opponent with both fire and debris. The fireballs heading towards the ground had the same destructive power as dynamite, more than enough to send rocky debris in all directions, which would damage and slice the opponent. The last fireball was aimed directly at Shar with the same amount of firepower. Smiling softly as the Knights muscled form landed in his new position he began to charge his power again, though the attack was good the Knight knew the warrior would get out of this, somehow.

Shar seemed content to stand there leisurely as the fireball barreled down on him, his concentration on Rasarai unfettered by the explosion. His emerald eyes never left Rasarai's form until the assault was upon him, whereby he simply seemed to disappearing within the debris. In truth, however, he launched himself up and above, using the Longmace as a springboard. The weapon would trail after him as he slipped through the air with speed that betrayed his soulbound physical enhancements. Torment flitted about in the air, darting towards Rasarai with significant speed. Was this small orb of naught but a soul going to attack the great Knight and Lord? Knowing what Torment can do the possibility of an attack cannot be ruled out, especially with his control of magic, though it was just a bluff. Shar himself landed just beyond the explosion of earth and flame, darting towards Rasarai in a charge as blue light flared around his boots, shattering the earth underfoot as great claps of thunder pulse out from him at each step. [Essentia Point Used-Sonic Charge Enhancement Secondary Effect-Stunning Charge] He was carried towards Rasarai with thunderous applause from the gods, the Longmace swinging around to smash into the knight with the force of a titan. As the flaming warrior assumed a defensive stance the Knight watched his attack strike, a cloud of smoke filled filled with flame and rock ripped apart the area the warrior had been standing. As his arms assumed that off a boxer stance his mind's hyper senses stretched forth and surveyed the cloud of dust. In a matter of moments he saw and felt 2 essences escape the cloud, one was the warrior whom he was here to fight, the other a being of magical essence.
As Shar jumped high above the broken part of the battlefield Rasarai immediately without thought sought to defend himself against the orb of power barreling towards him. "What the hell?!" muttered the Knight as he watched the orb move towards him. Summoning his flaming powers the Knight did not know what to do, for a moment he seemed confused by the orbs advance. Angered by his hesitation the Knight took a step towards the orb with his aura blazing but realized his folly.
His senses told him that his other opponent was already attacking, and was moving at a blinding speed that would surely kill any normal warrior. Feeling the power and essence behind the attack the Knight knew that simply dodging it was out of the question, to move away from such an attack he needed to go adrenalin hypercharge to do that, and there was nowhere near enough time for the charge.
As the sonic attack smashed into his blazing aura the Knight was thankful that it acted like a natural barrier, since the attack was also an energy based attack it was neutralised by the Knights chaotic aura. The stun would work if Shar had been against a warrior who did not manipulate one of the Universe's most chaotic elements. Rasarai decided upon 2 types of movement, both chi deflection and hyper adrenalin charge. Summoning as much power as he could muster at that brief moment the Knight jumped into the air and wrapped his body into a ball, moving his chi around him the Knight moved up in the air in such away that the smitage attack would simply deflect the Knight, all the while the Knight was focusing hard to summon his adrenalin hyper charge.
As attack smashed into the chi barrier the Knight felt the force ripple throughout his body and chi, the force was strong enough to travel through the barrier and shake his body considerably causing him to be slightly disorientated. The attack forced him to spin towards the right, directly over the attack. Using the momentum of the attack the Knight redirected the force towards a point in his chi barrier to forcibly deflect him right over the attack, the only problem with this move is the Knight would be catapulted a fair way from Shar.
Since Shar used so much power in the attack the Knights catapultation move was quickly done, soon the Knight unfolded the body and landed on the dusty ground uneasily, since he was slightly disorientated. All the while his red eyes blazed with power and rage, seeing how Shar was using a smitage type attack the Knight knew his center of gravity was already off and he would only be recovering at this point.
Unleashing the energy he stored for his hyper-adrenalin charge the Knight roared with fury as he charged towards the opponent. The Knight knew the warrior saw his move and Rasarai knew he would be preparing for it, but he doubted that he would be able to match his speed at this time, since his center of gravity would be all over the place. As adrenalin and rage fused to create a sort of nitros power in his system the Knight roared angrily as he moved at 4 times the speed he was moving at earlier, blazing towards his opponent at high speeds the Knight wrapped his body with his flaming aura, changing the frequency slightly the Knight cocked his right arm and prepared to strike his opponent with as much force as he could muster.
The change in frequency means that whatever the Knight touched that was not on his frequency and that was living would cause a reaction in his chi barrier, causing it to explode outwards. Since the Knight was immune to flame based attacks the attack would barely touch him, due to the rocks and debris that might follow, but the opposite can be said for his opponent. If the attack should hit any part of the opponents body the chi would explode in his direction at the speed of a bullet leaving your average gun, and it would have the explosive power of dynamite and the heat level of Napalm. Which would be more than enough to overwhelm any opponent.
As he sailed towards his opponent the Knight was unintentionally super charging the air around him, within the next 10 minutes the air will be as hot as a desert wind at midday. Though this was not really his intention Lord Rasarai's power was that off solar strength, and heating his surroundings was one of the disadvantages to fighting him.

As the shockwave pulsed outwards from the Longmace the weapon would stop dead, the force produced along with the swing aiding it in stopping immediately and helping Shar move into his next assault. He continued forward, pushing off to one side as the Longmace began to bend, and soon Shar was catapulted upwards once more, this time to follow his opponent. With a mere thought the Longmace darted up to him, drawn by the connection of soul to soul.
As he reached the pinnacle of his leap the Longmace came up and swung up above him, twirling about his form like a normal quarterstaff before launching at Rasarai headfirst, blazing with light as another explosive shockwave was charged within. [Essentia Point Used: Longmace Shockwave]

The battle hardened warrior knew that Shar would not easily fall for such an attack, even with all of the counters he was pulling Rasarai just had to try harder. As he charged towards Shar he saw that the warrior had renewed his assault once again. Traveling at a much higher speed the Knight now had enough power and agility to dodge the attack from Shar.
Shar had miscalculated and underestimated the power of the hyper adrenalin charge. With the power of adrenalin, rage and his blazing chi flowing through his veins, the nitros charged man was more than fast enough to dodge the quarter staff move. As he neared his opponent the Knight saw the quarter staff blur towards him as it filled with power unlike anything he had ever seen before. Realizing that the light was now to bright to watch directly the Knight closed his eyes and let his hyper senses deal with the rest.
Planting his right foot deep into the ground the Knight forced his momentum to move to the left. Bending his flaming body towards his left the Knight felt the quarter staff sail past his form, mere milimeters from where he was standing, the Knight felt the force of the attack was glad he avoided it. Moving his right arm back into cocking position the Knight maneuvered his left to move in for an attack as he recovered.
Forcing his body upright once more the Knight darted towards Shar with the same nitros powered speed. He was now far too close for Shar to do any dodging as his original attack moved in at blinding speed. Smiling softly the Knight knew that it would be near impossible to dodge this attack, since the warrior would have his back facing him and the fact that he was just about to land from his jump, his center of gravity would be to unstable for any dodging since he launched an attack in midair.

XP I'd not use this opportunity otherwise. ^_^)) As Rasarai dodged, however, the Longmace would strike the ground and unleash the shockwave it had been charged with, tossing him aside as his dodge created an imbalance that easily allowed the Longmace's shockwave to push him too far. Before the effects of the shockwave had even completed the Longmace was back in Shar's hands, whom had apparently remained in midair a few seconds longer than it would seem possible. The spiked ball slipped off the end and in a twirl of the staff it was launched at the recovering Rasarai before he could even hope to continue his assault on Shar. [Soul Forge-Weapon Creation/Altering] With his left hand he gripped the staff tightly at its center and brought it up over his head to point down to the ground on his left side. His right hand darted over and a flash of light issued forth as he shot upwards, a stream of soulstuff issuing forth down towards the ground as a loung twang filled the air. [Soul Forge-Longbow of Souls] [Essentia Point Used-Longbow of Souls] Shar sailed upwards, far out of Rasarai's reach while he dealt with the spiked ball. Soulmelds Arm Power Center: Longbow of Souls-BoundThis Signature Soul Forge weapon is formed from a quarterstaff of any type, including the staff section of the Longmace or the hilt of Obelisk or Obelisk Unlocked. Setting a hand upon the center and drawing back an arrow of Soulstuff can be fired forth from this weapon. Expending an Essentia Point makes these arrows nearly infinitely versatile to Shar's will. When bound the Essentia Point is not needed, but one can be expended to create an especially powerful arrow.

Rasarai truly did not expect such a viscious counter attack. As the Knight prepared to charge the power of the longmace smashed into the ground, feeling the shockwave rip the ground asunder the Knight fought hard to stay standing up. As his center of gravity was now damaged the Knight saw that he had little time to deal with the spike ball sailing in his direction.
As the spiked ball sailed towards him the Knight grunted angrily and used the power of the hyper adrenalin charge to his advantage once again. As rage, adrenalin and his nova chi combined and combusted to give him added power and speed the Knight darted almost impossibly fast to the left letting the spiked ball smash into the ground with unimaginable ferocity. When he reappeared 10 feet to his left the Knight realized that this warrior wasn't going to let him get close, as his red martial arts outfit ruffled wildly in the air as he moved the Knight focused and changed the frequency of his chi.
Realizing his attack will never come to fruition the Knight changed his tactics. Lifting both arms outstretched pointing outwards the Knight fired 10 blasts from each hand rapidly, each sailing towards the edges of the arena. As the blasts sailed towards the edges of the arena the Knight shifted into defence mode as his power blazed brilliantly around him. As he turned towards Shar he noticed that the warrior now had a new weapon, one that was probably used for long range.
As Rasarai's flaming red eyes narrowed with both anger and annoyance the Knight's gaze shifted to his previous attack to see if the orbs were in place, realizing that there wasn't much else he could do the Knight shifted into defence mode as his chi began to change frequency. The orbs of fire moved towards their destination at frightening speed as Rasarai prepared for the inevitable attack. As all this was happening the temperature of the battlefield was now at Desert Conditions, the air itself was now hot enough to evaporate sweat. Seeing as hot air rose one would assume that the desert conditions would soon hit Shar as he prepared for the attack, this was in a way Rasarai's attack though it wasn't intentional.

Once again, being from a desert kingdom the heat mattered little to him, and being bound to Torment, whom was partially a phoenix, the heat mattered even less so. Shar continued to rocket upwards for a moment before he came to a stop, the pillar below him stabilizing, shifting so he could stand upon it. As Rasarai launched his next assault he would see something spectacular, though not far beyond what had already been done. Shar fired off another arrow of Soulstuff, though not overcharged like the previous one. It darted down and out at a speed fitting of light to not only intercept his blasts in a show of supremacy, but to establish the outer ring of a cage he began building. While he launched a second arrow to fly down towards Rasarai wisps of incarnum began to gather about him, flitting about similar to how Torment would. Within the small group Torment could easily be seen, but why was he within such a weak group? Statistics Essentia Pool: 6 Smite Attempts: 4

The Knight wasn't used to being hit with weaponry that warped at the speed of light. As the second arrow smashed violently into his aura the Knight fought hard to stay standing, though the ground around him cracked under the sheer force of the attack.
As the first arrow hit the Knights orbs of solar energy, multiple explosions were felt at the edges of the arena. Each with the same explosive power as a stinger missile the entire arena shook with such violent rage that the Knight fought hard to keep standing. He knew he would not win this fight being on such a defensive. Moving his left arm back towards his rib line the Knight began to charge up for a powerful blast. As the bandages of his arm began to glow under the power of his attack the Knight knew it would take some time for him to gather enough power to unleash upon Shar.
Moving his right hand up above him, directing it at Shar the Knight knew he could not move with so much power charging up in his hand. Moving the remainder of his power into a chi barrier like the one he used to take the arrow blasts the Knight waited patiently as his power of his attack charged up, though being on the defense once again the Knight knew that Shar had to unleash much more powerful attacks in order to break his chi barrier, though at this time he was being strained and his power was slowly being exhausted, under such strain the Knight knew it was just a matter of time before he lost control.
As the Knight charged up his mighty power the arena soon filled with dust from the explosions from the orbs. The Knights counter had been destroyed but not without purpose. The dust now was thick enough to create a cloud strong enough to hide the Knights flaming presence, in truth Rasarai was lucky he could breathe even in these conditions, being trained in the art of martial arts the Knight was trained in breathing in portions of air, a technique used by many warriors to escape clouds of poison. As the Knight charged up his power the Knights blazing chi barrier sat in place around him, with enough force to take a missile head on.

While the arrow did strike with all the force it could muster, it rebounded off, still linked back to Shar and now unable to create a similar assault again. Above, Shar pulled back a second arrow and fired it as well, the two now slicing through the air not focused upon hitting Rasarai, but creating a very tight cage around him. His own barrier would aid in this, as if they got too close they would simply reflect off. The wisps of incarnum swarmed around him, each and every last one begining to glow a brilliant blue as Shar smirked. His voice called down below from his lofty perch, "The strength of my brother encompasses my own, as the insolent brat has proven. Here and now, I will show it to you, harnessed in my weapon!" Spinning upon the pillar he jammed the quarterstaff into the cloud if incarnum wisps. It sank deep within, bulking up as it seemed to pierce Torment straight through. Turning back the other way he seemed to pull on the hilt with considerable strength, a towering blue shaft of light emerging from the cloud. With a cry of war and effort the blade was torn forth from its forge and swung down towards the ground. [Soul Forge: Obelisk of Torment-Double Bind] It didn't need to hit Rasarai directly, for it seemed to radiate pure destruction, leaving a wake of destruction behind it, tearing up the ground and anything in its way as it passed. Soulmelds Arm Power Center: Obelisk of Torment-BoundThis fearsome weapon is a culmination of the bond between Torment and Shar`Addan. Utilizing the ultimate Signature Weapon for Shar`Addan and the essense of Torment, The Obelisk of Torment is born. This Soulmeld combined the awesome destructive power of Obelisk, a 4-5 story tall greatsword, with the abilities of the Soulspark Familiar Variant Soulmeld. When bound to the arm the wake of destruction is activated. Expending an Essentia Point and a Smite Attempt allows this weapon to break in two, each half able to be wielded as if they were longswords. Soul Power Center: Obelisk of TormentAside from the effects as noted above, The Obelisk of Torment grants Shar a unique ability. Utilizing an Essentia Point he can create wings that break free from his back as a pair of long white tendrils joined by a thin white membrane of light. If the soulmeld could be bound to his Soul this Essentia Point would not be needed, but he could use it to create a second pair that would fold around his form and not seem to be wings at all, but a magnificent armor. As the blazing Knight summoned his power in his left hand he saw that the 2 arrows of light spun its ferocity around him, moving at the speed of light the Knight knew that he couldn't hope to match their speed when dodging. Turning his gaze upon Shar Lord Rasarai knew that the mans ultimate weapon was about to come into play. His hyper senses screamed with ferocity as Shar began to unleash the power of his attack. At this moment all the Knight could do was watch the sheer power from which this blade was coming from, his eyes now filled with both fear and rage as his muscled frame sweated from the strain of gathering power. Realizing his chi barrier was no match to the blade of obelisk the Knight knew it was time.
As his left hand now glowed with power enough to level a city the Knight knew that this was the only chance he had. Bringing his left hand forward to where his right hand was sitting the Knight screamed with fury as he channeled the power gathered into his body. The strain of so much power almost destroyed his self control as his veins became filled with so much Nova power. As his wordless roar of fury was engulfed by the rushing sound of the obelisk the Knight knew this was his only chance.
Outstretching both arms to his sides the Knight roared, "I shall not lose Shar! DO YOU HEAR ME!!!" As his power mixed with his rage and adrenalin the Knight knew it was time. As his power exploded out of him the chi barrier increased in power 100 fold. Pushing outwards the Knight's explosion barrier soon filled the entire arena totally deflecting the arrows that seeked to keep him prisoner. As his explosive chi met the force of the obelisk the whole Earth seem to shatter from the contact. As the ground heaved from the explosive outlash of the 2 powers clashing the Knight knew that even with all of this power the Obelisk was still coming closer and closer. Straining to unleash more power the Knight roared with renewed fury to try and hold off the blade as continued to bear its mighty power upon his explosive chi barrier. As his hands began to glow brighter than the rest of his body the Knight hoped that he could hold the blade long enough for him to charge up enough power to counter him, but at this rate and at this strain the Knight could only hope.
