She was able to start a family with a new man, but he had left her after she had told him her secret. She had a girl afterwards. Her daughter moved out and they didn't talk for many years... One day she got a call saying that her daughter was dead and that her granddaughter had been banished for killing her mother. Mrs. Wonderlind gladly took in Alice.
