 Boredom had reigned all morning. Then Syon heard of some big event going on outside. For a long moment he had simply lazily remained in his chair. Then he laughed, picking up his deck of cards. "Ace of spades and I go check things out. Anything black and I'll think about it. Red and it's a definite no and laze in bed the rest of the day."
A smirk settled on his face. He could always go spend the afternoon with one of the ladies on his list. Of course it was not a list written down but he had mentally noted some very pretty ones. Maybe that would be a better way to spend his day after all.,
Glancing down at the deck, Syon laughed aloud. He had never been good at passing up a chance to see how his luck was running. This would do as a good indication for the day. Shuffling the cards, he mixed them well. Then he spread them out in an arc on the table.
For a long moment the man simply stared at them pondering the placement. Reaching towards the right end of the line, he hesitated. His eyes narrowed and then he pulled his hand back reaching immediately for the middle cards. Picking one up, he flipped it around.
A snort slipped from him. "I guess I'm lucky today. Ace of spades. Exercise it is." Picking up the cards, he put them into his pocket. Then his green glasses were on and he was outside the building at a lively step. Maybe he could sucker someone into playing a game with him. His luck was pretty good to have picked the ace immediately.

 What's the best way to catch a godling's attention? A celebration, ofcourse. There was change incomming, and things were finally being put back in place. And you did nothing to help, so stop feeling so proud. And don't stare like this. Well, Tista wasn't literally staring, it's just a feeling he got, always, always, when the curious godling's attention was on whatever it was that Yumeh was currently doing. He got used to it, with time, but definetely not going to tell it to him. He was obnoxious enough as he was. The crowd gathered around did wonders for his mood, though. He didn't have to chat anyone up even. The sounds, the happiness, everyone's excitement was enough to lift his spirits, and get some of that excitement as well. Well, maybe you were right. It's the highest time we returned here. Through the worst of the situation, he hid. Those that he met earlier probably don't remember his face. Maybe I should give them a spook?. He pondered teasingly, half-serious, when his eyes scouted through the crowds of people for anyone familiar, so far with no luck. Seems he'll have to leave this for later. And now there's just too much to do! Today he's the guest, and is going to have the time of his life, participating in all the activities he can find~!

Syon walked around, whistling a tune as he moved thru the people. He was impressed that everyone had come out for this. Even those he knew were ohing and ahing that strange little rainbow colored creatures that had appeared. He thought they were cute and maybe he would try to catch one for fun. They could be an interesting gift for a girl anyhow.
A mass of silvery white hair walked past him. Syon blinked. Okay, now that girl was not one he had seen before, but her hair was quite interesting. He wondered what she looked like. A grin crossed his face. "No time like the present, Syon." he said softly.
Moving forwards, he tapped her on the shoulder. "Excuse me, do you know what is going on here?" Then he blinked as he moved around to the side. Several times. "I mean... " He just stared for a moment. It was a guy?!! Obviously one of the more effeminate ones but still a guy. < Suck it up and behave yourself, Syon. > he scolded himself mentally for not paying attention closer. "I'm sorry. You aren't who I thought you were. But do you know what is happening here? I'm Syon."
What else could he say? Maybe Luck was not on his side after all.

Unexpected tap on his shoulder made him turn around quickly, blinkind slowly at the unfamiliar face, his lips soon forming a smile. "Oh, hello there~" He tilted his head slightly at the sudden pause from the man, then chuckled quietly. "Ah? And you thought I was- who? Or what?" He had his guesses, and didn't mind really. If he wanted to, he could easily make himself a less confusing sight; but the attention didn't unsettle him in the slightest, so why bother? "And as for your question, I'm not that sure myself, I have to tell. On the details, that is." Slowly rolling a strand of his hair on his finger, he bit on his lip, thinking. "But a friend of mine told me, there's a celebration around, and entertainment will be plenty- so I thought, why not show up? All this attention got me out of bed, and incomming changes are of the good kind, one that we hoped for. With the world slowly getting back to its place, don't you think it's expected to be excited?" He extended his hand to him cheerfully, expecting a handshake. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Sion. MY name is Yumehayla."

Yup, definitely a 'femman' as he liked to think of this type of person. Syon laughed extending his hand also. Yume seemed amiable enough so he would probably get a kick out of the mistake. "It's nice to meet you, Yume. From the back, I thought you were a girl I had not met yet," he admitted easily. His smile widened and he began to laugh. "I thought it was my lucky day. At least that's what my ace of spades indicated earlier."
"I'm always up for a party or gambling. Or women." he added with an idolent grin. "I figured there would be all three here, but I was curious as to the reasoning behind it. All these little creatures running around." He glanced around himself at the floox everyone was chasing. "I might even try catching one of those later. Not for myself. It would most likely be more of a bother. Just a chance to tempt some pretty lady into giving me her gratitude." He chuckled again at the thought of him scrambling around after one of these cutsey creatures.

He took the hand into a tight handshake, and laughed loudly at the explanation. "Well then." He grinned, letting go and flexing his arms. "I'm sorry to disappoint you. And what else can I say, better luck next time~? Today everyone wants to enjoy themselves, I'm sure you'll find a willing lady without much hassle. Your ace of spades might still be quite right."
"As for the flooxes-" He continued, following his gaze. "-that's how they're called, mind you. I have no idea when they showed up, but I like to think of them as a good omen. They seem to like me for some reason." The whitette puckered his lips and raised his other hand- revealing a little critter holding to him inside his sleeve. "More of this guy's relatives stay in my room. They aren't much of a bother usually, so your ladyfriend to be should be long-term grateful, and not just till the next morning."

Syon laughed again. He liked this Yume and thought he was actually one of the most interesting people he had met in some time. "I'm only disappointed you are not female. I actually like meeting new people although I don't always have patience for the grumpy ones complaining their luck is bad. If you don't take a chance, of course it will be bad."
He tilted his glasses down his nose, watching a girl behind Yume. She was pretty and well shaped wearing a silky dress that hugged her curves. Syon's lips twitched as he glanced over to him again, shrugging. "I'm sure I will find a lady or two before the day is out. Perhaps even a card game. And catch one of these flooxes. They seem interesting enough and my deck of cards said that luck was on my side or at least a chance that it was. "
"How long have you been here?" he asked suddenly. "I mean, what do you do? I've been watching people for weeks and trying to figure out but there are so many different cultures here. Honestly I cannot place them all though it makes me curious."

"This works!" He laughed, giving the man a happy smile. He thought that he could enjoy his company, and mused that it's quite the shame that he has other plans for the rest of the day. After all a celebration is twice the fun if you have someone to share it with!
"Luck can be also quite a fickle thing, you know." The whitette chuckled. "And at times can go really, TERRIBLY BAD. but there's the same chance of it happening as something terribly GOOD, so it depends on how much you like to gamble. Some prefer to stay where they are.. but then why complain?" He shrugged his shoulders gracefully, and followed the man's gaze, staying on the girl for a moment before returning to him. "Well, whatever you decide to do today, I'm sure you won't have to complain about the luck of luck. It seems to be in a good mood today."
The last question made him ponder deeply, scratching his chin in thought. "You know, I'm.. not really sure, entirely. My return here is fairly recent, and I'm yet to find a permanent residence for myself. They probably aren't very happy with me." He grinned awkwardly. "Not that I blame them. But that's the chance that I took. And as for the people gathered here.. I think it's the gods' presence that drags them closer."

Maybe he would spend part of the day with this fellow. It was one of those times when you know you are going to like someone and become friends. Syon decided in that moment that perhaps he would wait on the ladies until later in the evening. Yume was an interesting fellow and it had been awhile since he had felt compelled to talk like this.
"I agree. Luck can be very fickle, but a chance untaken is a chance wasted. And as for what I plan to do, it is open. I planned to play a few card games, flirt with a few ladies, and watch people. It never hurts to practice reading expressions. But right now, I'm talking to you and what more do I need for the moment?" He laughed, adding, "It's not often I find someone I like to talk to."
He listened to what Yume said. "I'm in the mortal hallway. One of many who came in a large group after hearing about this place. I was a card dealer in a casino for a little over a year and then I worked in a nightclub. It really was not the gods who drew me here, but it was the only chance I had at the time. I let my Ace make my choice. Whenever it shows up, it's never wrong for me. I'd probably still be out there otherwise. And it really should not matter that you were not here. You are now and trying to help, no? That's what counts."
((LMAO Syon doesn't even suspect that Yume is a host. ))
