Pasiphae decided that the minute she got home, she was starting a diet. And an excercise regimen. A harsh regimen. There was just no reason for her to be breathing this hard from walking around in a patrol.
Granted, she had been doing a few more patrols than she was used to, due to the Youma Hunter of the Month competition. And she was balancing voluntering at the library with her (as of yet failed) attempts to form a debate team at Crystal Academy. Plus walking Minotaur daily so that he kept up his physical fitness.
She sighed as she walked, peering around the area carefully for any trace of youma or other Negaverse activity. Maybe she was just tired... just needed a break. But duty called...

Maia stood on a building top looking at her phone, scanning the area for activity. Nothing showed but after a minute a blip walked into the scanning area. It was Sailor Pasiphae, Maia only briefly remembered her from the youma hunter competition meeting a few weeks back. She frowned as it seemed the girl was all alone. Usually not a good thing, when one was a first stage senshi or at least it often wasn't.
She turned to see if she could spot the other, but she did not see her, but she was certain the other could feel her just as Maia could feel Pasiphae. She jumped down on the roof top, just as she had jumped up, landing a bit hard before making her way toward the other.
It wasn't long before she could see the other senshi and she gave the girl a friendly wave, "You know you really shouldn't be alone."

Sailor Pasiphae jumped slightly at the arrival of her fellow Senshi, actually taking a step back before a nervous smile came to her face. "I'm sorry... I'm kind of used to walking around alone. I don't want to bother anyone, unless I come across something I need help with."
She ran her eyes over the Senshi before her, noting her many musical adornments and set of wings. An Eternal then, which would explain how strong her energy felt now that they were close together. Green, white, with red hair... why did that look familiar? It came to her in a flash--while they had not been formerly introduced, this was one of the Senshi from the Youma Hunter of the Month Competition.
The dark-haired teenager worked to rectify this mistake, her nervous smile metling into a more genuine one as she extended a gloved hand towards the more experienced Senshi, "I'm Sailor Pasiphae, Senshi of Shame. I'm glad to meet you."

Maia shook her head come fully over to the girl. "Any other senshi whose been around for a while will tell you thats not really the right attitude to take. You can get into much trouble before someone might be able to come to your aid. I made the mistake twice and was nearly killed both times," she said softly.
Maia took the gloved hand in her own and smiled, "I am Sailor Maia, Senshi of Song. It is very nice to officially meet you."
She released her hand politely taking a moment to feel out the area and see in their was anything in the area and for now it seemed to be just fine. "Have you had any training magical or otherwise," she asked softly.

Getting nearly killed... that would certainly be more inconviencing to her fellow Senshi than a simple phone call. Not to mention all the civilians who, whether they knew it or not, whether she was the best defense or not, relied on her to be there to take out youma. (And fight Negaversers... though she had painfully little experience with that.) Pasiphae winced at this simple truth, and she was never one to doubt anyone more experienced. "I'm sorry to hear that, Maia... and I promise, I'll be more careful. It's nice to meet you too."
The teenager started slightly at the unexpected question, but she answered swiftly and honestly, "I've had a little training. I was taught how to physically attack youma and how to summon my power... all the rest has just been kind of hands on training, learn as I go."

Maia smiled at the girl, hoping she would indeed be more careful, though she doubted it. Most needed something dramatic and often bad to get it into their head to be more careful. Maia hoped to avoid that with anyone she met. She'd been warned too many times the very same thing and it was a long lesson for her to learn.
She listened as the Pasiphae talked about her 'training' which only made her shake her head. As many senshi as she knew were offering training, it seemed not many senshi were actually taking up on the offers.
"What does you attack do exactly? Are you an offensive or defensive senshi, maigcally that is," she asked standard questions that really should have been asked more often.

Pasiphae snapped into a sort of attention, not offended by Maia's questions but wanting to demonstrate her professionalism. While she could not read the mind of the other Senshi, she had seen the somewhat discouraging shake of the Eternal Senshi's head at the summary of her 'training.' The Senshi of Shame knew she was not as good as other Senshi, not as useful and talented, but she still wanted to prove that she could be of some kind of assistance to the cause. "I'm sorry, Maia, I should've told you from the beginning. Polaris told me how important it was to exchange information. I can summon a shield to protect myself completely from attack for a short time, so I'm purely defensive, magic wise. But, physically, I've been able to defeat several youma, either through punches and kicks or finding something to bash them with."

Maia nodded and smiled, "that is a very useful attack so don't count yourself short. Never do that. My attack is purely defensive to, but depending on the how my opponent feels I can put them out with just one attack. It all about strategy for us defensive senshi and learning how to get physical."
Maia grinned," It great that you've figured that much out about youma, they get easier to deal with."
Maia looked thoughtful for a moment before focusing her attention once more of Pasiphae. "Do you know you fighting style or rather do you have one? I've taken ballet the majority of my life so most of my strength is in my leg, therefore I fight with my feet and over the past year Ive gotten better and better at it, even my ballet has improved?"
She laughed at the last part, but it was obvious she was completely serious.

The Shame Senshi colored slightly, but she was glad to have some kind of support behind her attack. It seemed that the longer she spoke with Maia, the better the conversation went.
"I... don't really have a set fighting style," Pasiphae confessed, looking down at her shoes as she kicked lightly at the ground. "I was trained mostly in punching youma, so... that tends to be my first instinct. Overall, I kind of throw my shield up to observe the attack pattern of the youma and look for weak points; then, when it falls, I jump into action. It... well, it's not the best effort, perhaps, but it works."
