In every school there is usually that one kid,an outcast and a freak more so then others. The kid that sticks out yet still blends into the wall. Well meet Maxwell,he's that very kid. His life is the typical run through the meat grinder every time he goes to school.
Picked on and verbally abused rather often for the well cemented rumors that he is crazy. But one day one of the popular girls from his school finds out that he might not be all that he seems....

(I'll start ^^) 'Crazy crazy crazy......'Maxwell sat at the back of the school bus with his eyes closed and head leaned back. His earbuds blasted heavy metal into his ears from his ipod list to drown out the noise of everyone's daily talking and the occasional insult at him. "Yeah yeah keep talking..." He thinks to himself as the bullies poke fun at him even though it was barely audible to him.
He wasn't surprised that people avoided him because of how he looked. His jet black hair was matted in some places and wildly twisted and tangled in others giving him a classic mad scientist look. His grey eyes were cold,mean and gave him withering glares that could silence even the most outspoken. While his voice was slightly deep,kind and if kept at a even tone extremely calming. But since he rarely ever spoke two words he looked like a dangerous person.'....Well secrets can do that to you.'

((Now i gotta make my reply colorful or ill feel bad >.<)) Just tell me your problems.... Eve Grove sat near the eleged deranged boy. She sat with her closest friend in the world, Lillian Dewberry. She smiled a bright smile that could scare away any clouds in the sky, and make the sun feel ashamed as she laughed at a joke Lillian had said. Her strawberry eyes sparkled as Lillian informed her that she brought some dark chocolate covered starwberries for her. Two of her favorite foods in one, starawberries, and dark chocolate. "That sounds wonderful! Thank you!" Her voice was soft and childish. She looked around the bus to see her surroundings as she gazed at Maxwell a little longer than the other items and people. He was different, and she liked that. And i promise to listen....

'Crazy crazy crazy......'Sniffing the air softly Maxwell could smell something sweet and delicious. "That smells like...chocolate." He thinks to himself with a mental sigh as his stomach growls. "It seems my diet of on sale instant noodles isn't enough for my glutton stomach. Should be glad it gets food at all on my budget..."
Not content to just smell it Maxwell opens his eyes and lifts his head to look around slowly for the source of the smell. He didn't have to look far before he noticed the chocolate covered strawberries and the sweet looking Eve. His eyes avoided her's out of habit but from the small distance his mean looking eyes made it look like he was glaring at her even though it was not his intent. He took a soft but deep breath before closing his eyes and leaning his head back yet again.
He payed attention to the bus's stops and weather or not the doors opened to let someone else on for a ride. "Lets see....two stops left till school."'....Well secrets can do that to you.'

Just tell me your problems... Eve laughed softly as she took a strawberry and bit into it. The Bitter yet sweet taste was a delight. She glanced over at Maxwell and took anotherone. "Excuse me for a moment Lillian." She said as sh looked over at the ratty haired boy. She ignored the gawking stare from her friend as she tapped his shoulder. She held out the strawberry and shot him her famous smile. "Would you like one?" She scanned him quickly, finding him interesting. He had pretty eyes in her opinion, which was usually the first thing shenotices in a person. ...and i'll promise to listen....

'Crazy crazy crazy......'Maxwell flinched as she tapped him and his eyes snapped open since most don't touch him unless they were about to start something. His reaction quickly faded as he realized who it was and took an earbud out to hear her. "....Sure." He replies rather simply before holding out his hand to accept the strawberry which he ate with one big bite.
He looked up at her once again after eating the berry. She had a nice smile,even he would admit it,but it did nothing to change his demeanor as he was simply too jaded on life at the moment to have it effect him. He looked around the bus at the many gawking stares which he understood. He closed his eyes and sighed softly before leaning back once more since he assumed the girl would leave.'....Well secrets can do that to you.'

Just tell me your problems.... Eve cocked her head to the side and blinked. "Are you not much of a talker or do you just not like me?" She asked, sticking a chocolate strawberry in her mouth as she asked the question. She wanted to know more about him, and not go by what the rumors say. But if he had nothing to do, then so be it. Then agian, she probably wouldnt let him off the hook that easily.... ...and I'll promise to listen... ((I got lazy on the typing XD sorry XD))

'Crazy crazy crazy......'Maxwell noticed she wasn't leaving after a minute and took out an earbud once again before looking at her again. "Look,Your a nice girl I can see that....But everyone is staring. It's best if you just go back to your popular friends so not one starts spreading rumors about you too....Oh and avoid me at school please I'm not particularly...as level headed there." He replies to her even though he didn't hear he question and adds the last part before putting the earbud back in.'....Well secrets can do that to you.'(Its alright ^^ i'm just warming up too XD)

She looked over at Lillian who just shrugged in a: "whatever you want" motion as Eve looked back at Maxwell. She held out her hand for a handshake. "I'm Eve." 'Crazy crazy crazy......'Maxwell gave her a small hands shake and even with the music blaring in his ears made out what she was saying. "Maxwell." He replies simply again before looking over to and glaring at a few people he could tell were starting to spread rumors. "Freaking parasites."
Maxwell let go of Eves hand and looked at her for a moment before moving over to make room for her since it was clear she wasn't going to leave anytime soon. He also turned down his music so he could hear her better. "Any reason you decided for today of all days to start a conversation?" He asks in a quiet voice so only she could hear him.'....Well secrets can do that to you.'

Just tell me your problems.... Eve moved over to next to him and shrugged. "I said a couple things to you before, but you were apparently listening to music. Nice genre by the way." She smiled brightly. She may not seem like it, but she was one to like metal. Slayer, Iron Maiden, Ozzy Osborne, whatever else. ...and I'll promise to listen....

'Crazy crazy crazy......'"..Thanks it tends to block out most of the noise." He replies after a moment of silence. "But It's not all i listen too. It's just the loudest so that's what i listen too most around school." Even with that said he doesn't apologize for not responding to her those times she tried to talk to him. It just wasn't like him to say sorry for thing that had already happened and past.'....Well secrets can do that to you.'
