Another day, another day...and another night of washing throw up off her good pair of jeans.
Sometimes Makayla didn't understand why she even put up with her job. It wasn't until she was handed her part of the tips. With a small sigh, she rubs at her temple for a brief moment before making her way towards her car that she always parked by the local park. She knew better then to park it in the bar parking lot, as it meant her car getting hit.
Moving across the the street, she pauses at her car only for a moment to drop off her bag and jacket. With the slamming of her diver side door, she turns to make her way into the park.
She knew with it being well after midnight, that there would be plenty of drunks out for her to snatch energy from. Not to mention, maybe try her powers out on.
Wrapping her fingers around her crystal, she speaks her name rather softly. With a dark blue light, she gasp as the crystal pushes it way out of her chest some during her transformation. With the final indication being her hair growing to touch her ankles, she holds a glowing blue crystal for a small moment as she lands on both feet.
Opening her eyes, she shivers for a moment. She didn't think she would ever get use to that part, not that it matter. Placing her crystal within the gaping hole in the center of her chest. She slowly makes her way through the park, humming a soft tune to herself as she looks for a few victims.

The lieutenant had been released from his shift at the coffee shop an hour early, he wasted no time hiding himself and powering up before he set off, on foot, for his patrol. He's a man who likes to keep busy. He stayed on the street for a good ten minutes before he took to the rooftops having ultimately decided he much preferred that method of travel. It was easier to avoid being seen by civilians and other powered individuals that lurked about.
Luckily, or perhaps unfortunately, Labyrinthite found that there no energy signals near him, not when he felt for them or when he pulled out his communication crystal and found it didn't glow at all. He frowned, eyebrows knitting together as he looked down at it.
Suddenly it flared to life and he banished it back into the subspace. He took a second to breath in, close his eyes and sense for the aura that his crystal communicator had picked up. He felt a pang of pain in his chest when he realized that the energy he could now feel was warped, like a corrupted senshi. Needless it say it sent him off, running in the direction curious as to see just what senshi it was.
It didn't take him long to find, but he stops to take a minute and watch. He doesn't recognize her but Chase had always been curious, so he waits.
