 Kayo had been mopping a bit ever since he felt like he screwed things up with Kousetsu that night. at the moment he currently was hiding out in the shade, sitting with his tail curled around him. it was more than obvious with his head hanging low that he was depressed. he had been so happy things were going good with him and Kousetsu til he screwed things over that lovely night. giving a huge sigh, he was glad he was done with his guard duties for the moment so that he had time to think about things. soon he was laying down with his head in his paw, looking even more depressed than he had a moment ago.

 It hadn't been more then a few hours since Rashida had spoken with Kousetsu. Though, it had seemed like forever finding the one that held in their conversation. Oh, she had some things to stir up... Now where was he? It took her a bit before she saw the male moping in the shade. She raised a eye brow. Whatever was wrong with him, wasn't any of her concern. No, she had other things on her agenda.
She rolled up towards him, he had found a great spot to hide away at. A spot where most of the pride never moved, though she knew about hiding spots, and had a feeling he'd be some where out here. She had seen other's come out here to think, her being one of those who did. "My, my... For such a handsome male, I'd expect someone more happy." She first spoke.
Eying him, sizing him up. "I don't see how she could like you, but then again.. You are handsome." She said with a nod. "Though, don't get me wrong. You're not my type." She said. She wasn't sure what else to say to him, but that seemed like a good start of things. Tease him a bit on someone who likes him without giving him a name. Drives any male crazy. Who said she couldn't have a bit of fun before telling him.

Kayo had barely notice that she had came over to him as he was lost in his thoughts. until she spoke about someone liking him instantly got his attention since that was something he could not iggnore. lifting his head up, he tilted his head to the side. "what........who said they like me?" it was clear the only thing he heard come out of her mouth was 'i don't see how she could like you' as the rest of what she said went in one ear and out the other. wrinkling his muzzle, he wondered who she could be talking about since there were few he actually spent time talking to even though he had been int he pride for some time now. oh this was going to drive him crazy if she didn't tell him who since he had no clue Kousetsu liked him because he figured he had screwed up his chances even just being friends with her.

She laughed at him. Excellent, she got his attention. "I suppose I could tell you, but what type of friend would I be?" She grinned at him flicking her tail. "Though, I do think you should know. " She went on. "She's too afraid to tell you herself. If someone doesn't, then nothing could ever come of it." She said as if she was a concerned friend. Quite the opposite though, this was all just a small game to her for the moment.
"Tell me, Kayo is it? Do you like anyone?" she asked him straight out. Of course, she didn't expect him to answer. He just met her, and it wasn't like he even knew her name. Which she was going to purposely leave out. In case things actually did get bad. Deep down, she really didn't want anyone to get hurt, it was more of the spur of the moment thing. To make things a little less boring.
"I'm just seeing if she has a chance first, is all." She paused "If so, then the name I can give you easily, if not, then I won't bother shaming my friendship."

Kayo made sure she had his full attention as he was wanting to know who it was that liked him. oh how he hoped it was Kousetsu who liked him but he had serious doubts after last night. plus he realized he didn't know who else happen to be friends with her besides himself. " i see your point and there is someone her name is Kou............wait." eyeing her, he wondered if he really should tell her. after all he had never talked to her before, and didn't know her name ether. of course he had seen her around the pride but never gone up to her to chat. " i don't think i will say since we have never spoken before. i already embarrassed myself enough last night to last me quite a while." laying his head back down, he looked away. "plus this could be a prank since you haven't even said who you are."

The first part of the name was good enough for her. Though, she pretended not to catch the begging of her name. "Fine, have it your way." She said simply, "Shame that she likes you, you seem almost like an idiot" She said . She grinned at him. "Me? I'm no one important. " She lashed her tail about. "Truly, just a friend who cares. Well, a friend of hers, not yours." She said eying him almost rudely. "But, if I had any choice of the matter, i wouldn't let you have her. She's far too good for you."
Of course, that was not really something she knew of for sure, she was just spitting things out her mouth. It was fun to do that at times. "I'll tell Kousetsu you have interests in someone else..." She acted like she said that on accident. "Oops... I guess I've spoken too much." She said with a sly look upon her face. If he was smart, he'd know that was who liked him, but she was playing with him to see.

Kayo was quick to get to his feet when he heard Kousetsu's name. he had been ignoring all the other stuff she had said since he had it in his head that she was just pulling some kind of prank. "wait don't you say that to Kousetsu. i don't want her thinking i like someone else when i only like her." frowning, he didn't like being toyed with but it was obvious that she did know Kousetsu to at lest know her name. "and don't tell her i told you i like her..............she probably doesn't like me anymore after last night." giving a sigh he was happy to know that his crush liked him but he didn't know if that was the case after last night.

She grinned. She always got her way, one way or another.He was just more simple then most. Even though, this wasn't exactly what she wanted. She wanted him to do something else... Say something else. But being match maker was good enough... There was still room for messing up on their part. "Oh? Funny, she thinks you don't like her." She flicked her tail continuing her little game. "I talked to her just a few hours ago" She told him. She looked up in the sky to see exactly when she had talked to her. It wasn't that long ago at all. "I do believe she thinks she messed everything up when you guys were star gazing.... Or whatever. Something sappy and romantic that went wrong."
"Though, that doesn't surprise me. Kousetsu is shy, in a way". It was true, Rashida knew that. Especially on how Kousetsu tried to hide that she liked someone. "So, what are you going to do about that mister?"

kayo couldn't help but start to chuckle at how silly him and kousetsu were. seeing how they both thought they screwed up things with one another and had never told one another that they liked one another. "i guess i better toughen up and admit my feels to her. i don't think i got any other choice. i don't want her thinking i don't like her." since he already was told that Kousetsu liked him, he didn't think he had anything to lose by telling her. "do you think she would still be were you last spoke to her?" thanks to Rashida, he was now dead set on telling Kousetsu that he liked her.

Rashida shrugged, she really couldn't tell where Kousetsu would be. That girl was hard to find sometimes, she was always moving around the pride and didn't really have any spot she went to often, other then where she slept. "If you hurry, you could be lucky." She said with another shrug. "She's on one of the ruins that way." She nodded to the left of her. "or she was when I left."
She flicked her tail back and forth. "Go get her, lover boy."

"thanks." Kayo was quick to then take off to go find Kousetsu so that he could speak to her. he was grateful to Rashida because if it wasn't for her butting in, he wouldn't be off to admit his feelings. a grin was on his face and a bounce in his step. he knew there was nothing to lose by admitting his feelings since he now knew for sure Kousetsu liked him in return. now all he had to do was find her which he hoped would be a easy task.
