Oscar couldn't sleep. After everything that went down at the park he'd tried. But he couldn't. There were too many things running through his mind. He didn't even know if what happened was real. He hoped it's just been a dream, but deep down he knew it wasn't. The heavy pin in his jacket pocket made him aware of that, bumping against his body with every step he took.
He needed some fresh air, to burn some energy, so he'd decided to take a walk. He didn't know what else to do. He didn't want to tell anyone, what if they thought he was crazy? And try as he might, he couldn't bring himself to through the pen away. So, he'd gotten out of bed, quickly changed into his jeans and jacket, successfully doing so and not waking his roommate, and left his dorm room behind. It was easy to get out of the ground, he'd done it plenty of times before.
And he had questions, boy did he have questions. But the cat had gone almost as soon as it had appeared, and he didn't know where to turn.
Oscar walked alone, going nowhere in particular, just trying to clear his head and get a grip on this new curve-ball.
Some distance behind him, a large figure watched, hungry, hiding itself in the shadows of the buildings the boy walked past. It's glowing golden eyes watching intently. It was hunting, waiting for the perfect time to strike.

There was a youma nearby.
Themis had spend the last few minutes trailing it - unfortunately locating by aura alone was never a precise art, especially if the owner of said aura was doing it's best to stay as hidden as possible.
A dark figure with large white... wings ? Jumped from one rooftop to the other, and that was when he spotted the youma.
Well, more than the youma, too. Crap. Civilian. This could get messy as hell, depending on how the boy reacted, but it wasn't like he could just let the youma eat the boy, couldn't he ?
So he jumped, landing in between the youma and Oscar with a loud thud. "Go get cover, okay ?!"
If Oscar had no idea what he was talking about, he would when the youma charged, snarling, trying to side-step Themis to get to it's prey.

"Huh?" yelled Oscar as he heard both the sound of another voice and the sound of something... landing? on the pavement behind him. He shoved his hand in his pocket where his pen was located, clamping his fingers around it.
He turned and saw it was a person behind him. Though they were dressed weird. Kind of like you were, he thought to himself, his mind going back to the encounter with the mantis type monster earlier in the day. What was he doing here? "Get cover? why should I." He said, not sure if he could trust what the guy with wings on his butt, although his question was answered almost immediately.
It's sound was what made him look further past the man. It gave off a large growl before charging from the shadows, revealing itself. It was large and black in color, similar looking to a grizzley bear, except it's forelimbs were long and skinny, and had great claws at their end. It's eyes were shining bright, a look of hunger across it's face.
"Oh s**t..." He gasped. Was this the same thing he'd seen earlier? Oscar wasn't sure. It didn't look the same, but the way it acted was definitely within the same spectrum.
This was when he was meant to use the pin right? What had the cat said? Oh yeah. He pulled the pin from his pocket at yelled. "Janus power, make-up!"
A flash and he was Oscar no more, instead he was Sailor Janus.

...Senshi powering-up - you're doing it very wrong. Themis sub-consciously started to comb the air for auras - thankfully not a nega aura in sight.
Luck of the beginner ? Because well, either this Sailor Janus was very new to this whole senshi thing or... very bold about this senshi thing.
Through at least the civilian was no longer a problem... Kind of... Maybe...
The youma suddenly did not like this - his pray was gone ! With a lack of that, it went right for the new senshi - through Themis grapped it's long tail before it could even think of eating Janus for lunch.
He could get a good hit in that way, but the eternal senshi wouldn't be able to hold the wriggling, angry thing forever.

"Looks like we're on the same side," said Janus as Themis grabbed it's tail. Now, what was he meant to do again? Oh yeah, his attack. How did that go?
Aha. "Leg lock!" He yelled, pointing his palms outwards towards the beast. From the air a ghostly padlock image appeared, floating in front of his hands one moment and then shooting towards the youma.
The angry monster was snarling now, swiping at both senshi, trying to break free, thrashing his body as well. This wasn't what he'd planned.
Janus smiled. The attack had worked well on the last thing he'd fought, he only hoped it would again.

"Yeah, through I could have not been. You need to be more careful when powering up, okay ? If a negaverse agent saw you..." He wasn't sure if he needed to elaborate on why this was bad.
No, the youma wanted none of this. None at all. It started shooting webs - one for Janus, and the other right for Themis' face. There was no time to dodge it, so the eternal senshi ate web in the face.
He tried to dig his hands deeper on the tail as a result, but the youma's whole body turned slippery, and he lost his grip. "Watch out, it coated itself with goo !"
...Yeah, pretty much. Themis had little choice but to abandon his glasses on the ground and dart after the youma.

"What's a Negaverse?" He asked, not knowing what the word meant.
Red eyes watched the padlock as it floated towards it's target. "Aha!" He said, confident that it would hit.
But it didn't.
"s**t!!!" He yelled as everything seemed to go wrong. He jumped to his side, trying to dodge the web but it caught him on the foot and sticking it to the ground. Could have been worse, he thought. Then it was out of Themis' hands and heading towards him, moving out of the way of his attack.
"Damn it!" He muttered. Janus was sure it would hit. He could feel his energy was low from the first attempt, but he knew he had to try again.
"Leg Lock!" He yelled, repeating the same movement with his hands.
This time the Youma was too close to move and the attack hit him square in the chest. Then his great, hairy legs snapped together and the Youma fell. But it wasn't down for long. It was scrambling towards Janus still, using it's arms to move and snarling all the while. Just because it's legs were stuck together didn't mean it couldn't hurt someone.
Janus was breathing heavily, the last attack had taken all the remaining energy he had left. In the park he'd only used the attack once, so he could still fight, but now, after using it a second time. He was all but helpless, using all the energy he could muster to try and break away from the web holding his foot down before the Youma could get to him. He didn't know how long it's legs would stay together either.
Now the new Senshi was really panicking.

This was going to be a long night, Themis could already tell. Really, would it kill the cats to give SOME information to new senshi so they didn't end up fresh faced against the world ?
Janus' attack did hit this time, the youma's legs... binding ? That seemed pretty useful, really... But the youma wasn't gonna give up, and he could see from his body language that this attack had been one attack too many.
Oh hell no.
Not on his watch.
There was no time to get in between to do a shield. "Themis Noise Storm !"
The air rippled in a circle, around them - and the youma seemed to forget about Janus, instead chassing after... something... As if it was hearing something the other senshi wasn't. Through now there was a very soft noise in the air, just enough to be just a little distracting.
Clearly not what the youma had been hearing, through.
With his effect done, Themis purposely broke it early - he was at the youma before the leftovers could break, and he kicked it - away from Janus - straight on the other side of the road. It smacked right into a brick wall.
"That was a good reflex, but I don't recommend trying to stress yourself like that if you're alone." There was no patronizing in Themis' voice - he was just stating a fact. "At your level, one use of your magic is really the norm. Two is pushing it. Three... Don't do three. You'll pass out."
He didn't want him to pass out. It was obvious that this youma was now his problem, but he'd manage.
There was no time to help Janus with his web, or even clear the left over from his own face - the youma was staggering back toward them. Not dusted, but... It probably didn't have long left in it.

Janus watched the other as he fought. He was obviously more experienced, and stronger. He scowled. He hated having to rely on others for help. But then again, what would have happened if Themis had not been around...?
Noise storm. That was his attack? It certainly seemed to distract the monster, but how Janus was not sure, for there was only a slight ringing in his ears when the attack was issued. Thankfully it distracted the Youma enough to allow Themis to give it a good kick. That's something else I need to work on, he noted, realising that his hand to hand combat wasn't all that great.
"Thanks," he muttered, bitter that he'd had to have help, but glad for it being there at the same time, and angry that he couldn't help anymore. For the rest of the battle, unless it was drawn out, Janus would be a moping spectator.
With the Youma on the other side of the road Janus' struggle was rewarded, and his leg was free from the web. Once that was done, it was all he could do to hoist himself up against the wall of a building for support. He wasn't going to collapse, or at least he was going to try not to.
Soon enough the effects of Janus' attack wore off, and the Youma's legs were freed, though it was having a hard time standing up. The kick it had recieved from Themis was solid. It snarled at them both and slowly advanced, trying to work out which one would be the best to attack.

Themis had no intention to drag this out much longer, not with a very tired senshi at his side.
The youma was will wondering who to go for when Themis made the choice for him - he dashed and kicked it some more, right in the neck. There was a sickening sound - snapping bones - and then only dust.
And now he was covered in goop. God, gross.
