Alternate Smallville
Intro:
During the 100th episode of Smallville, Clark Kent told the love of his life, Lana Lang, all about himself. He told her where he was from, and showed her the kinds of things he could do. He then proposed to her, to which she eventually said yes to. The following is the consequences of that choice...
As Clark and his family began Jonathan's victory celebration in the Talon, the familiar ring of his cellphone went off. Seeing it was Lana calling, he immediately answered the phone and asked her "Lana, where'd you go?" Lana, sounding panic'd replied "Clark I'm sorry. I went to see Lex, he was really drunk." Clark's heart stopped, as the name of his former best friend usually had that effect on him. He then questioned "What happened?" "...He knows" is all Lana could muster up. "I don't know how he could tell, but he could tell I was hiding your secret." Fearing Clark's reaction, she quickly assured him that she hadn't said anything to Lex, but that he had gotten really angry. Clark then in a reassuring voice said "Lana, that's okay. Where are you now?" worried that she may be in danger, since he has seen Lex's dark side first hand. Lana, feeling safer telling him where she was, replied "Umm, I'm on route 40 right before Lobe Bridge." Just as she began to feel safe, she could see Lex in her rearview mirror. "Oh God, oh God he's coming after me.." Clark, still trying to process what was going on could only muster a concerned "Lana". Lex meanwhile had pulled beside Lana as she was driving down the road. "Lana! Lana! Just pull over so we can tal- LANA WATCH OUT!"
Lex's warning was too late. Lana's car had been t-boned by an oncommon school bus. After several flips, it finally came to a crashing stop. Clark's phone connection to Lana was nothing more than static now. He knew something was terribly wrong... Lex stepped out of his car, screaming "Lana!" one more time as he looked at the debris of the crash. Suddenly out of thin air, Clark appeared in front of him. "How did... how did he do that?" questioned Lex to himself. "He just... he.." he was at a loss for thought. Had the alcohol he consumed blurred his thoughts so much that he could see Clark Kent materialize out of nowhere? He was snapped out of his temperate daze as Clark ran towards the wreck; towards Lana. Clark got down on his knee's as his Father arrived, running from his truck to the crash, and finding Lana in a bloody mess laying on the cold pavement. "Lana?" is all Clark could say, trying not to believe what just happened. Jonathan then pulled a screaming Clark away, attempting to console his son, telling him there was nothing he could have done.
Most of us know what happened after this. But what if that timeline, that Alternate Universe, had kept going?
...This is that story...

Just so you all know, this story isn't dead. Infact it's quite the opposite. I'm just choosing to have it completely finished before I post it all, instead of at chunks at a time.
I'm also not going to give a "due" date. I hate deadlines. razz

Wow that sounds like a pretty great story. So this is a continuation of an episode through your eyes?

So are you going to give us like a "timeline" thing, to just kind of "inform us" how long we have to wait for this story?

JazZhands Wow that sounds like a pretty great story. So this is a continuation of an episode through your eyes? Not really. This is just a different route that Clark Kent and the rest would've taken had Lana Lang stayed dead, and had Lex kept the knowledge of Clark's abilities. `Chloe Sullivan` So are you going to give us like a "timeline" thing, to just kind of "inform us" how long we have to wait for this story? As I said, I don't really like deadlines, and by showing you how far I am in my writing, it feels like a deadline to me as well. I will say though, that it should most definately be done by the year 2026. (20 years sounds like enough time, right? razz )
