Lili was one of the first to walk into History class. She wasn't surprised. That's how it was for Literature as well. The act that she saw Germany and the rest of his club members patrolling the hall (whether actually doing their jobs or not) was certainly enough to get her to want to arrive on time. Besides, Vash would have been upset if she was late...

Lili walked to a seat almost dead center in the room. Yeah, it may seem silly, but she really wanted to be in the middle during this class. Maybe then the teacher would take notice and she wouldn't feel completely ignored while actually "learning" all of this. It might even get the teacher to like her without her having to sit in the front where some one with bad vision should be free to sit. She carefully and neatly unpacked her thins, wondering if Peter was going to be willing to sit any where near her... He seemed ot be her only friend thus far.

I know that being a High school student is hard work!

Skidding into the next classroom, he promptly received and irritated look from a teacher whom was writing things on the board. It didn't take him that long at all to spot his new best friend in the whole wide world, and quickly find a seat next to her, smiling, "It's so cool that we're in all of the same classes!" He spouted, pouring out words like the little over heated tea kettle of bad English parenting. Or just ignored hard work. Mix of both maybe. He wasn't even going to question why they were sitting in the middle of the room, rather he asked the stupid things he'd regret later.

"So you're a freshman, right? Well, that's a stupid question, of course you are, that is why you're in this class!" He gave something of a nervous laugh at that point, coming to terms with the fact he sounded like an idiot and couldn't stop himself from talking. Oh great, a girl was making him nervous. What was he supposed to do? What England did? Be mean? No! He couldn't do that, he had to be a gentleman and... bring her a flower one day when he got the balls to!

But I think I'm ready after the shows I've seen on it!

( Cx Alright, I'm just having have a crush on her for the whole 'first person to acknowledge me and she's pretty' factor. It doesn't have to go anywhere at all, he's just going to... crush on her a lot. If you don't want that I'll have him stop. )

((Nah, I don't mind. Lili's pretty happy to have some one willing to talk to her instead of being completely ignored. Besides, she'd probably be flattered if some one gave her a flower. >w<))
A small smile spread over Lili's face when she saw Sealand come in. She sure hoped that Ludwig didn't catch him running in the hall. She heard a rumor some where that Ludwig was head of the Disciplinary Club, and she knew from experience how strict he could be. She had already begun to copy down the notes, not worrying too much about understanding what they meant just right now since that would slow down progress. (She could always go over them in the quiet of her dorm room since Roderich didn't seem to be the very talkative type of person.)

When Peter began talking, she continued copying notes, but made sure that she was also listening to what Peter had to say so as not to be rude. Ignoring others who were addressing you was in fact rude, and she knew how frustrating it could be when you said something and no one even heard you. She giggled lightly when he gave off his nervous laugh. It seemed like he might be trying hard not to say something weird. It was kind of funny since she was doing the same. After all, the only friend she had was going to be in a different grade level. Well, no, not exactly. She kind of saw Roderich and Gilbert as her friends as well, despite her not knowing them too well or getting to talk to them that often. So she had three friends all in a different level than her?
"Sharing the same classes with the same group is very helpful. It makes it easier to get to know a small group of people rather than trying to learn the names of a bunch of people you only see once a day."

The new girl walked in the classroom, a bit shy. She knew she had enturpted the lesson. "Um please excuse my tardiness. I was checking to make sure I was in the school system." she was nervous and didn't like having to make excuses.

She sat down in a seat near by the two blondes, they seemed nice, yest she felt out of place. So far she was first of her 49 siblings o be permitted to be in the same school as the nations. She looked forward to seeing Alfred and a few nations that she hadn't seen since her and her twin split the Carolina State.

He gave a little laugh, nodding happily in reply to that comment. It was so true... but it almost was like it covered for his previous stupid question. Almost. Not really, he still felt like he sounded like an idiot. He went along, pulling out a notebook from his backpack that seemed to have extraordinarily stupid drawings all over it. He wasn't much of an artist at all, it was more like he tried to draw something cool and it turned into scribbles all over the page or cover of the note book. "Yeah, it would help a bit, I mean it would be even better over the next few years because I guess it would start to be like you know everyone in your grade and stuff like that." He chattered happily, "So it would be like a family or something!"

Suddenly there seemed to be yet another friend to chatter at, a girl with brown hair that ha happily waved to before turning back to the board for a moment as to scribble down a few more notes.

She smiled and waved back to the boy. looks like I already made a new friend. Wonder what country he is. she thought pulling out her binder and started to take notes. From her glance she had he looked like a mini Arthur with those eyebrows. She turned to the other girl having no idea what country she was.

The class being like a family? ...Lili liked the sound of that. It didn't seem to be going too well at the moment, but maybe it'd be different within a few weeks or a couple of months. "It would be nice if we could all get along like a family..." Although, it was pretty easy for her to say that. The only person she'd really seen as family was Vash, and the two, though different at times, seemed to get along perfectly.

She saw some one else walk into the room and smiled to the new gir; when she sat near her and Peter; She gave a light and quiet hello to her, trying not to be too loud before she looked back up towards the board and wrote down what else the teacher had added.

Charlotte had jotted down the notes from what she gather since she walked in. It was going to bug her latter if she didn't get the rest.

Braving up the courage she whispered to the two sitting nearby.
"Hey, could one of yall lend me your notes after class? I just need the stuff that I missed. The name's Charlotte by the way."

Y'all? That was a funny word, even for English. Lili wondered where the new girl, Charlotte, could be from. Still she looked up from her notes to her and smiled lightly. "You can borrow my notes if you would like, but I will need them back before the end of the day. English isn't my first language, so I need to be able to sit down and take the time to make sure I really understand what it is we're taking notes on..." The slightly Germanic accent would probably be a big hint as to what was her first language. And the design on her note book, which was the flag of Liechtenstein, would be a big give away as to what country she was. "My name is Lili. It is a pleasure to meet you, Charlotte."

So he had yet to find someone he could sling mud with, or do other boy things like... paint faces! Or find frogs and spook people! That was fine though, he was fine with just having female friends for now... Two of them, one he didn't know the name of, yet, and Lili. He wondered if it was that because he had female friends he would get more of them because females always seemed to be friends with even more females in the movies and that sort of thing. He would be... a total babe magnet. Not what he was interested in though, it seemed like it would be a bit annoying, having to be friends with a whole bunch of girls and having them hanging around when it was time to go do boy stuff. Lili was fine though, this new girl and Lili would be his official female friends of his unofficial freshman year in this high school!

"Hello, Charlotte, I'm Peter," He said, grinning as he introduced himself to his new friend after she did to them.

"Nice to meet yall and thank you, I'll give it back to you soon." Charlotte liked to keep her word and was greatful to Lil. She saw the flag on Lil's notebook but didn't recognize it. The majority of her life had been focusing on America's history and bits and pieces of some of the big countries. Charlotte however did recognize the german accent and knew her flag wasn't Germany's.

Back when she was nothing but a colony, she attracted Scotch-Irish, Quaker, English and German immigrants, but nowdays, the majority of her people spoke only english. "I'll go ahead and tell yall I'm not a country but one of America's states, North Carolina." a little nervous about mentioning that she was related to Alfred, afraid that they might compare her to him. "So Lil, 'Sprechen Sie Deutsch?" it was the only german phrase Charlotte could remember besides saying good morning.

(('Sprechen Sie Deutsch?: Do you speak german?))

Charlotte could tell she could speak German just from her accent? Most people didn't seem to realize that since she was land locked by both Austria and Sweden. (She assumed most people thought she spoke either of those languages instead.) She smiled lightly and gave a light nod before replying with, "Ja, ich spreche Deutsch. Deutsch ist meine Muttersprache. Woher wissen Sie das?" The fact that it was an American state that could speak her language... It actually made Lili a little more optimistic that maybe she could attempt getting along with Alfred (assuming Vash didn't attempt putting a bullet into the man's rear the second he got within a meter of her of her).

Charlotte probably had no clue what country she was. Not surprising unless you really paid attention to all of world history in general or followed Snoop Dog since the man had tried renting the entire country for one of his music videos... Yes, the entire country... That one was a bit of a low blow for Lili. She wasn't that small...
"I am Liechtenstein, just in case you were wondering... You probably know more about my big brother, Switzerland, and my neighbor Austria than you do me since I'm only 160 km² big... Close to 61.7 square miles." Never hurts to convert it since she knew Alfred still refused to use the metric system, so she wasn't sure if he'd really let any of the states learn the conversions for it except for in science experiments. Of course, Charlotte seemed like she was smart enough to study that sort of thing before entering a school with mixed nationalities.

((Ja, ich spreche Deutsch. Deutsch ist meine Muttersprache. Woher wissen Sie das? :: Yes, I speak German. German is my first language. How did you know?))

"You can say it was a lucky guess." she said nervously. "I had a math teacher from my previous school who was from Germany so I recognize the accent. I only know of a few german phrases." Charlotte explained. At her old school they did teach spanish and french and even on the rare occasion german, however the only language class she actually took was spanish since she was a southern state and it was the second common langauge there.

Charlotte did paid attention in her world history, although her teacher didn't go all into dept of all the countries, which is probably why she knew of Switzerland and Austria and not Liechtenstein. She gave her a nod in understanding and listened with interest. Charlotte was thankful for the measurement conversion since it was rare to use the metric system.

The girl was excited to meet fascinating countries. Now all was left was to know about Peter.
