At some point during the long train ride back to Amityville, Mitsu finally stopped staring at her phone and decided to dial the number she had been staring at for so long. She didn't want to bother Shun, felt suddenly nervous to be calling him out of the blue....but she didn't want to be by herself when she got to the train station. So with that in mind she called him, asking him to meet her if it wasn't too much trouble. Her voice sounded a little off but she was able to give him the details of where to meet and at what time before hanging up.
From that point it was just waiting the remainder of the trip until the train finally pulled into the station at last. Weary from multiple things, Mitsu forced her way to her feet, hands grabbing for her things. Once again she was one of the last few to exit the train, she wasn't very good at forcing her way through a crowd but eventually she made it. The slow movement of her head shifted about trying to catch sight of her friend hoping he had made it. What...if he didn't show?

Over the weekend, Shun hadn't heard from Mitsu at all, but he just supposed that she was busy and didn't really have the time to contact him or anyone. Either that or she didn't feel the need to. In any case, he wasn't horribly worried about her, though he did wonder how she was faring and whatnot.
When he received the call, however, he noted the slightly strange tone in her voice. Something wasn't quite right.
Frowning at this, he went on and gathered his things so he could be at the train station by the time she arrived back in town.
At the pick up area, the Reaper looked around, patiently waiting for the wolf girl. She had to have been on that last train that pulled in, so it was just a matter of time before he found her. Sure enough, he caught sight of a white haired and masked girl on the other side of the crowd. Quietly as usual, he made his way through, finding that it was indeed Mitsu.
... Damn she looked tired, judging her posture.
"Long trip?" he asked quietly while looking her over.

It seemed to take Mitsu a moment to realize Shun had found her and she almost jumped in surprise when she heard his voice. She seemed a little edgy as her gaze turned up toward the reaper, her ears drooping in a manner like she had no energy to keep them up.
"Y..yeah, long trip." It wasn't really a lie. The train ride was rather long and involved a lot of sitting which left her mostly a lot of time to reflect on her problems.
Shuffling all the things in her arms, Mitsu finally braved a step closer to Shun, her steps looking a little....unsteady? Maybe it was all the things she was trying to carry? She had proven before she wasn't the strongest of creatures, though her legs didn't seem to have an issue with strength. "T..thank you for meeting me." There was that wavering tone in her voice again though it was hard to say what was wrong. Perhaps she was too tired to even really stutter like she normally did?

"Yeah no problem."
Furrowing his brow, Shun watched Mitsu carefully. Her ears had drooped and she looked fairly unsteady. She looked completely exhausted, which didn't really make all that much sense to him. It wasn't as if she had to walk all that much or even man the train. The masked girl should have been able to relax and possibly even napped on the way back.
Something else must have been bothering her.
"Are you alright?" he asked quietly while ushering her lightly to get away from the crowds so they could start heading back to the school, "Come on, lets get you back to your room so you can rest."

As Shun stepped closer to usher her along Mitsu almost cowered down. The words of conversation she had with Mr. Adolphus kept flitting around her mind like a moth around a light. But...Shun was her friend, he had been nothing but kind and helpful to her and she had called him to come pick her up after all.
It was easy to assume Mitsu had been nervous from the crowd as she soon began to regain herself the further they went. The only problem was it didn't seem like she had much of a mind to where she was going. She had ran into someone not long after they started moving and again only a few feet after that. Mitsu was known to be clumsy but even she should have been able to see the large furry beast she had ran into.
"S..Sorry. I'm sorry," She muttered, backing away though it didn't seem like the beast man was paying her much mind. Perhaps he didn't even realize he had been ran into.
Once they were a little ways further from the crowd Mitsu paused for a moment, a hand going to her head. "I...I guess I'm really tired..." She muttered airily. Her field of vision seemed a little off, slightly cloudy, but perhaps sleep would help. Heading back to her room did sound like a good idea. "I..I should probably pick up some FEAR candy for Milo and Ziggy before I go back." She had meant to pick up some before she had left but had forgotten.

Shun had noticed her cower down, which was.. strange but he thought that in her weariness, the crowd was making her more nervous than usual. He didn't really think much of it, until she had actually walked into someone. Frowning, he looked her over. The girl was acting pretty strangely, but he couldn't really pinpoint what was wrong. It could very well be that she was tired and out of it he supposed.
"Be careful.." he said quietly.
Once they were further away, he watched her for a moment. If only he could see her face. That might help him out a bit but that wasn't really the case, so he had to make do otherwise.
"I can let you borrow some of mine. You can pick up the candy tomorrow," he murmured, "I don't think we should be out longer than you need to be. But are you sure you're alright?"

Trying to focus Mitsu sneaked a hand under her mask to rub at her eyes shortly before nodding at Shun's offer. "O..only if its no trouble. I'll pay you back." At least that way Ziggy and Milo would have something...and the acrobat wouldn't attack the little boafox out of irritation.
"I..I'm okay," Mitsu added with a nod trying her best to sound reassuring, her hand going back to clutch at the strap over her shoulder. She was starting to feel warm, maybe it was because she was finally moving around after having sat so long. "W-what have you been up to while I was away?" It wasn't like she was gone long but she wanted some sort of small talk, a distraction.
From their current position Mitsu waited for Shun to move before she followed doing her best to stay at his side as they left the train station. Her pace was a little slow but it helped her to stay a little more steady as they walked. The lupine had felt strange since she had left home but it seemed that since she had arrived it was only getting worse.

"Don't worry about it."
Taking note of Mitsu's slower pace, Shun made sure that he didn't end up leaving her behind as he walked along side her. It was still a wonder on how she managed to drain herself this much. He really couldn't think of many things on a train that would cause exhaustion to this degree.
"Just the usual," he replied quietly while looking at her, "Was something going on the train?"
Perhaps someone was being overly rambunctious or something along those lines.

As Mitsu walked she noted her surroundings were getting darker. Was there a storm rolling in? Shaking her head a bit she looked up at Shun again as he asked his question. "N..no, it was a quite train ride." It had been, nothing of interest had really happened. Just people chatting and sitting together. There hadn't even been a lot of children so no real loud noises.
"Seven hours is a long time to-" She had started to explain but was cut short when she ran right into a lamp pole. The metal of the pole rang out with a clang as she stumbled back from the impact, her head shaking as she tried to regain her senses. When she finally collected herself a little she stared forward but saw nothing in her path. Really...she saw nothing at all. Why was it so dark?
A hand reaching out almost blindly Mitsu touched the pole she had ran into seeing that it wasn't actually a trick. There really was something there. "I...can't seem to stop running into things..." She muttered before turning to where she thought Shun was standing. A hand reached out to grab his sleeve like she often did when she was nervous but her fingers clutched at nothing but air.... "S..shun?"

Frowning when he heard it was quiet, Shun really couldn't think of what would have caused this then. In any case, he didn't have a lot of time to think about it before Mitsu outright walked into a lamp post. The girl was clumsy, but that had its limits. Between that and seeing her reaching out as if she couldn't see, he knew something was definitely wrong.
"Mitsu?" he asked with furrowed brow, reaching out to grab her wrist, "Can you see me?"
He stared at the eyes of the mask, trying to see if something had gotten in the way there. As far as he could tell, there were no differences though. The Reaper knew the mask restricted her peripherals now and then but it never outright blinded her.

Mitsu's ears gave a twitch when she heard Shun in a different direction then where she thought he would be, her arm jerking a bit from fright when he grabbed her wrist. Her skin was fairly hot to the touch almost clammy. As she turned up toward him clouded crimson eyes peered through the mask at the reaper desperately searching for any visible sign of him.
"I..I..." She didn't know if she should answer. "It's just...this mask I think...and I'm tired." Maybe it was just darker than it was supposed to be and because she was tired she couldn't see well...though the fever touching her cheeks was starting to make her question her own thought process.

Glancing down at her wrist, Shun took a moment to try and remember if she always felt this warm. He hadn't come into actual contact with her all that often, but she felt pretty heated. Not to mention it was practically clammy. Narrowing his eyes, he stared at her, waiting for an answer. He didn't really know if he should believe her.
"Lets get moving," he said quietly while continuing to walk. He didn't let go of her hand just yet, feeling it might be best to guide her along.
The exhaustion and how warm she felt hinted that she may be feeling ill.
"How are you feeling? Aside from tired?" he asked.

Feeling Shun pull her along Mitsu started to walk again. She was rather thankful the reaper hadn't let go, she would have been walking blind otherwise...but the fact that she couldn't see. It was actually starting to scare her. Her hand moved a little to actually grip Shun's as they walked, her fingers trembling as she held on tight.
"I..I feel..." How did she feel? She felt warm for sure...a little light headed, disoriented, dizzy, and suddenly weak. Before she could really answer she had taken another step and suddenly her legs had given out on her taking her with haste toward the ground. The second bag she had been holding on to dropped from her hand landing with a thud, though thankfully the contents were only clothes so nothing was damaged.

Before he could get a full answer from her, Mitsu had suddenly dropped, nearly taking him down with her. Furrowing his brow, he stared at her for a moment while looking at the sidewalk. There wasn't anything there that she could have tripped on. Grimacing, he went on and grabbed her bags to sling them over his shoulder before attempting to help her up.
"Are you alright?" he asked quietly, "What happened there?"

A soft whimper escaped Mitsu's lips as she brought her arms underneath herself to start pushing her way up again. Her hands began to search for her bag that she had dropped but just as her fingers had touched it Shun had lifted it off the ground and had thrown it over his own shoulder.
"I..I think so," She murmured softly feeling Shun's hand take hold of her arm to help her up. Her legs just weren't working with the process though and she only managed to make it to a sitting position. Her breathing seemed somewhat labored as she slumped a little. "A...actually....I..I don't feel well." Like that wasn't obvious by this point.
