xxPhysical appearance: With a short stature at 5'6'', Asch is easily recognized by his long red hair (until Izaya cut most of it off), green eyes, and unique black and red outfit. He walks with an air of confidence, yet often appears to be brooding, his mouth turned down in an almost permanent frown. Having a slender but muscular build due to years of training and sword practice, he is certainly stronger than he looks.

xxHistory: Little is known about his early childhood, but Asch was brought into Team Rocket at the age of 10 by a man named Van Grants. While not old enough to officially join the ranks, he was broken and then underwent intense training for the next five years to become a model Rocket. Once reaching the age of 16, he was allowed to skip basic training and became a Grunt under Van, who served in the Unova region. Later he was then transferred to Orre and then finally to Kodo, where he now resides.

xxPersonality: Due to his training and upbringing, Asch is well disciplined and respects authority. While normally decent to those around him, Asch comes off as aloof and uncaring more often than not. It's certain that the boy has a chip on his shoulder, which gives him a brooding nature. Despite that, he comes off as quite an intelligent and capable member of Team Rocket, as his rank at such a young age conveys.
xxNormally cool and collected, Asch can have quite the explosive temper when someone pushes the right buttons. Even though he comes off as cold, he can be surprisingly helpful and even kind in some situations. However, his trust isn't always easily earned, and getting to know him takes some time and effort as he doesn't easily open up. Also, Asch is prone to moments of surprising goofiness which most often occurs when he's put on the spot.
xxBecause of a deep seated bitterness, Asch can be difficult to talk to, and thus sometimes is very quiet. But once his trust is gained, he can become a loyal and trustworthy companion. His hatred for the world is what drives him to do his best in Team Rocket. He's a very proud person and prefers to work alone. Even if he's done well, Asch is very intolerant of his own mistakes and continually strives to better himself.
