A lot of kids at my school want to perform a certain play for the Spring Musical next year. However, this play costs a LOT (!!!) of money to put on. I was thinking of writing to different companies (large ones like M&M Mars) to ask if they could contribute some money for this. I was wondering who/how I would have to contact (at) the companies. Does anyone know? Have any suggestions for me?

A lot of the time community theatres I know of ask locally known companies, like coffee shops, restaurants or retail stores, to donate because that kind of advertisement is *really* good for them (trust me - my mom owns a retail store and my stepdad owns two coffee shops). Have them buy a small advertisement on the back of the program, or if it's a food-based place, have them buy space in the lobby to sell food during intermission.
