Stars and planets blazed on past Kurma in an unintelligible blur, the dead planet of Alkaid eventually becoming an invisible speck as he was hurtled ever further through the depths of space. Did that puppet of Chaos really throw him that hard? Or was it the star that had pushed him away in a final pulse of energy? He didn't know, and he wasn't conscious enough to really think about it much.

Time didn't really have much to be measured by outside of the predictable cycles of planets around stars, so it was just as hard to tell how long he had been drifting for. In Earth terms it may have been hours, or it could have been days. However long it was, it was still a stroke of luck against incredible odds that his trajectory was putting him on a collision course with another planet relatively nearby.

His eyes creaked open just briefly enough to catch the sight of an unusual surface, scattered over with sparkling forests of colorful crystal, before the planet's gravity began to pull him in.

The planet wasn't as silent. In a mere moment, from when the senshi of crystal had sat down .. and had suddenly startled into standing up. It was a interruption in the lifeless atmosphere that surrounded the planet.

It wasn't a far distance .. but neither was it a short one. A black frame that could only be described as a distinct lengthy human frame seemed to erupt from the blackness of the sky into the briefly illuminated land. It was only due to the reflection of the stars that the crystal managed to draw in light to brighten the planet. Although the lighting was only a fraction of what it had been before.

Luckily, in the clearing, all the crystals had dulled to a flat ground level, millions of countless shards creating a soft layer of shatter. Lumiere's thin frame could be seen running through the forest of crystals, one hand holding tightly to the hat that struggled to remain on top of her head and the sound of bracelets dangling loudly and almost deafeningly in the silence of the destruction.

It was lucky. It was all too lucky. As ominous as the rows upon rows of pointed tree-like crystal structures were, he was fortunate enough to plummet to the surface without ending up impaled on any of them.

That didn't mean the landing was at all pleasant, however. Kurma crashed noisily into the center of the clearing like a man-sized bullet who had been shot point-blank at it, the impact kicking up a spectacular plume of prismatic, glittering dust. As Aeria drew closer to the site of the crash, she'd pick up the scent of burnt hair and cloth before catching sight of the man who had landed nearby.

Re-entry was a b***h.

He was sprawled out over the unusual would-be-grass on his side, not moving much at all as the smoke and dust began to clear. The largish, rope-tethered orb he always had with him rolled itself to a stop a few ways away, casting a buttery glow on his broken form and the expanse of tiny crystal shards around him.

In reality, it actually wasn't lucky at all. Aeria's planet, by far, wasn't one's first choice of landing. But on the bright side, the crash landing area hadn't been made of a much more solid or harder object like concrete.

It really was spectacular though-- prism dust particles scattered everywhere to create a hue-colored view of the setting. Her hand waved rather uselessly, attempting to clear the view but obstinately, the dust wouldn't clear until the force of gravity forced them to settle down. Although the scent was rather off-putting, there were much more "off-putting" things in life. Stepping forward delicately, Lumiere was thankful for her lack of heels, the sound if miniscule crystal crushing under her feet. She picked up the glowing orb with apprehension, finally stepping into view of the unknown figure.

What an idiot. Even though the situation may have been circumstantial, it was an foolish move to be floating around in space. Lowering her body, she brought her pale hand to the male's forehead, in an attempt to gauge for a fever that accompanied wounds. What was Aeria supposed to do on a lifeless planet like this? Did he expect medical tools on a planet? This was problematic.

"How many bones are broken?" She asked, testing if the man was awake. It was also a genuine question because a "how are you" or "how did you get here" would have been a very redundant question, deprived of common sense.

In response to the question, the man only gave a quiet and unintelligible groan. Which was neither a number, nor was it very informative about how badly he was banged up. It was enough for Aeria to learn that he was still a little conscious, at the very least. One of his hands curled weakily and shakily around what would have been a handful of crystal-dust, except it stopped short of actually grasping anything. The arm attached to it was sticking out at an odd angle, which suggested that at least one or two bones were broken.

What was more worrisome than any real or theoretical fractures he had was the amount of blood that was leaking from his chest and pooling on the ground. There was a lot of it. His injuries there were quite bizarre -- it looked, strangely enough, like a giant, monstrous hand had clutched and clawed up his torso.

Now that Aeria had a clearer view of the man, purple eyes lowered in a grimace. This only helped to harden her half-hearted conviction of learning first aid. This kind of wound definitely couldn't be solved with a simple bandage and tape. Her hands became soaked with blood that stained the ground .. While it may havebeen better to situate herself in a dry area, the entire one-foot radius around the man was slowly seeping in blood.

"I'm surprised you haven't passed out with those wounds." Aeria murmured, pulling the pink bow that wrapped around her waist to leave her senshi dress dlowing freely for the moment. It was all she had to wrap him up .. But could she even lift him up to bandage?

One thing Aeria despised was being in a situation she had absolutely zero clue in handling. Even a small percentage would have been nice. She slipped a hand behind his neck gingerly and delicately, in an attempt at support.

"I suppose the first order would be to bandage your chest and arm. But I don't think I can bandage that arm and your chest worries me more." Was Aeria speaking to herself? If he wasn't lucid enough to understand, she might as well have been. Help would have been nice. In her mind, she partially reflected that he didn't look like a senshi. Was she bandaging some universal resident? Like an .. What did they call those on those shows .. an alien?

Purple... her eyes were purple. Kurma blearily looked at them for an instant, his own something like the color of antique lace, before they became unfocused and closed again. Sailor Cosmos usually had purple eyes, too. Cosmos... did she know what had happened? Had she noticed? Something terrible... it persisted in his awareness even as everything else swam and faded his senses. The silence, the absence of that one star's voice from the universe.

"Alkaid..."

He had to tell her. She had to know what happened. His limbs struggled against the ground, trying to propel himself up and away.

Unfortunately, he didn't get much farther than half an inch, his consciousness leaving him again a second later.

Oh. This was troublesome. She had an unconscious man on her hands.. and he was injured quite heavily. The ends of her mouth twitched in a heavily bothered frown. Obviously, she wasn't going to get help on this forsake planet. One hand delicately pulled out her senshi phone, the contacts list sorely in need of company. Unfortunately, it rang empty. But the option it did have, highlighted, was going back to earth. Where help could be obtained.

Alkaid. A man's nearly-dying words. Aeria thought he could have done better .. he could have at least told her what or who or where Alkaid was. Although one could make a fairly accurate terrorist-related guess.

Hours later, when the man did wake up, he would have found himself in a somewhat small but spacious hospital room. With a marginal bit of experience, it could be identified as Destiny City Hospital. The blue haired female was sleeping in a chair, her hands primly in her lap but her head nodded off the side. In her lap littered her identification card and some other papers, presumably the sort needed to get into an emergency room. Although the patient papers were mostly blank.
